Way overpriced dessert! $114 for 6 people... ouch. Ordered a glass of wine, the server never brought it. When we received our bill, we were charged for wine. When we inquired his response, “uh yeah, it’s sitting over at the bar, someone just needs to go get it”.
This was me and my mom's first time at The Melting Pot. The staff had a cute teddy bear with chocolates that we could melt and enjoy once we got home! Katie was our waitress and she was the best! I'm bringing my husband and son to experience this next time! Thankfully we have one near Tulsa! It's just a great experience, great food, and is really a fun way to interact and eat!
Staff was very friendly. Our waitress was very helpful not only about the food but fun places to go out to in bricktown. Was alittle skeptical over the meat but overall it was super yummy specially the desert :) so good!!!
We came here for prom as a party of four and when we walked in we were automatically greeted and seated. We already had a reservation and it was my first reserved dinner and it went by smoothly. Our waitress was awesome, she was very nice and automatically gave us a sense of belonging and comfort. The first course were the salads and they were fresh and delicious. I ordered what the menu said was sweet and tangy dressing which turned out to really just be honey mustard or at least something that tastes exactly like it, but it was still tasty. The second course was the spinach and artichoke cheese, and it was good but not extraordinary or something I would just go for again. The entree my friend and I shared was the pacific rim and it was normal portions and the steak wasn’t very impressive but the duck was outstanding! The reason the entrees weren’t that great is because we were to cook our own food and we didn’t know exactly how long to cook it and we didn’t have anyone tell us how long to cook it or any instruction labels to go by. The rest of the food was also ok. But the next course (and the best part of the food experience) was the dessert. We ordered the s’mores chocolate fondue and oh my goodness, let me tell you, it was amazing! At first, I wasn’t looking forward to getting the s’mores choice because I’m not a great fan of s’mores but because everyone else in the party wanted s’mores I *HUMBLED myself (*is it really humility when you’re still getting chocolate? 😂😅) and decided to get the s’mores choice. When the waitress bright the chocolate fondue, she brought an unexpected amount of a variety of delicious foods to put in the already delicious chocolate! There were sweet waffles, sliced bananas, chocolate marshmallows, and rice crispy treats! This was the best part of the meal and although I wouldn’t recommend The Melting Pot when spending a lot of money for entrees and cheese, but when just getting dessert, it is a definite consideration!
It was good and well worth the occasion. The food was great but I did take awhile to get food or any cocktails that were ordered. Overall it was good.
Great overall experience !
The server and food were top notch. I gave 3 stars because of the bar, specifically. When spending $100+ on food alone, for two people, there is a level of expectation that comes along with bar service. First, it seemed the bar was maybe understaffed, which happens, but that's when management should find a solution to make sure drinks are served in a timely manner and that quality isn't sacrificed. The old fashioned I had and the margarita my date had were two of the saddest attempts at making a cocktail at a restaurant of this caliber. It felt like I was drinking Applebees happy hour at Melting Pot prices. I'm sticking to beer and wine next time.
Fantastic dining experience! Great for special occasions. This is a 2 hours meal, don't do it if youy address in a rush (4 course dining experience with: cheese fondue, salad, main course, chocolate dessert). Expect to spend around $35-$45/pp for your meal. You won't leave hungry I assure you!
After making a reservation well in advance, ordering extras, and informing the staff of a special occassion, we were seated with families. I was disaappointed with the seating arrangement after seeing the numerous other options available. We even had to wait over 15 minutes to get a table with reservations. We do not get to so this often so definitely will pick an alternative establishment. The wait staff was amazing though. Very informative and helpful.
Rosie our server was so sweet and helpful as this was a first timever for my husband. Everything she recommended was fantastic. The cheese and chocolate were or favorite courses. We both have talked about that chocolate since our visit. The entree was lots of fun but we both felt the sauces were a bit flat & lacking a housemade/tasty appeal. Our experience was so much fun! All the staff were so friendly and Rosie was just perfect. Can't wait to return!
Hostess would not seat us before the 2 other people in our party arrived which was somewhat annoying.
Our server was courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. Exc
I had a great time at Melting Pot. The server was extremely kind and made great conversation with my friends and I. We loved the fun atmosphere and how nice everyone there was. Would totally recommend!
Me and my wife enjoyed the restaurant
Everything was great, but the service was ridiculous slow. Someone messed up between giving us our cheese fondue course to our meat fondue course.
We loved celebrating our 3 year anniversary there, the staff hand wrote a letter about our anniversary and the food was perfect and tasted amazing!! It’s a fun, romantic setting for a couple or a family of 4.
The menu was great it was athe restaurant week menu we enjoyed all of it
Melting pot in Oklahoma City was on point. I had made reservations about two weeks prior and booked the exact day and time I wanted. They called me the morning of to verify my reservation and to confirm my extras for the table. I went on a romantic date and requested rose petals and candles on the table which they did perfect. The food was delicious and the waiter was very spot on with his small talk and compliments towards our date. The manager did come by personally to ask how everything was. At the end of the night we walked away happy and over all satisfied with the experience.
The Melting Pot is consistently a great place to gather with friends and enjoy a great meal. This visit was no exception. We will definitely be back!
Awesome food! They have a lot of different options too. Served accordingly to the number of people in your party. We shared the baked potatoe cheese, each had a salad, and shared the bananas foster desert fondue. Very unique experience if you haven’t ever been, I would definitely recommend trying it put. A lot more filling than you would think also. Our waitress was great, very friendly, explained the food, and even went ahead and gave my girlfriend and I a bananas foster for 4 people instead of the 2 person like we ordered. I guess it was a mix up in the kitchen but I didn’t mind at all. Definitely a little pricey but not so much so that I wouldn’t go back.
Much too costly for the value. However, the cildrens meal was a good value.
I brought my boyfriend to the OKC Melting Pot for his birthday last week. It was a first for both of us and we both absolutely loved it. Every staff member we came into contact with was very friendly. My sister had suggested asking for Hannah as a server and she really was the best. She explained the entire process and each ingredient and she was one of the best and most attentive servers I've had at any restaurant. The food and cocktails were absolutely incredible. I believe we got the Loaded Baked Potato Cheddar fondue, Surf and Turf entree and Oreo chocolate fondue with the Sweet Additions. The Almond Mocha and Sunshine Sangria was also amazing. Everything was seriously SO GOOD. The booth was small, quiet and intimate, so we were able to have some good conversation while still having plenty of table space. The price is well worth the friendly staff, relaxed ambiance, and insanely good food and drink. We'll DEFINITELY be back.
As always, this was a great place with good food, attentive staff, and a perfect atmosphere.
The experience started off a little rough with them taking the bacon and Brie cheese off the menu and also taking the raspberry tea off the menu. But the manager Jenny and our waitress did an AMAZING job accommodating us. It was an experience that my wife and I don't get to have due to the price of the food but it is definitely worth it. The 4 course experience is highly recommended.
Enjoyed the evening. Thanks!
I can not fully express how disappointed I was in our visit on Friday. It took forever for every part of our dinner. We arrived on time and were seated. It took 30 minutes to get my drink and even longer for my kiddos. We sat and waited through the whole meal, but after we had finished the main course we sat and sat. After probably 10-15 minutes I looked at my phone. From that point it took 20 minutes for someone to come over and ask about dessert. The manager was walking around talking to people, but did not stop at our table. He continued to go to a large table of women. I was visibly upset and no one would help us. I could have gotten up and walked out and no one would have paid attention. I am Very upset and won’t go back anytime soon.
My husband and I went here for our anniversary. The staff there had a card waiting for us saying "happy anniversary". I thought that was very nice and a unique. It was much appreciated. We had a very nice waiter. We got the 4 course meal. Everything was very good. The cheese and salad came out as starters. The cheese and bread combo was tasty. I wasn't a fan of the boiling of the meats for the main course, but it works. The desert was amazing. A lot of choices to dip in the chocolate. If I were to go back, it would probably be just for the deserts. They adult beverages were good, but a little too sweet for me.
Love this place!!!
While on a mini vacation my teenage son wanted to try something new and he picked Melting Pot. The server was excellent in explaining all the options and cooking times. We had a wonderful time!
Always a great time at the Melting Pot. The food is unique and there are lots of options. It is pricey ($50.00 each) but the experience lasts over two hours. Decent overall value for the time and the attention to detail.
Great experience! Waiter was exceptional!
Terrible service. Won’t be back for a while.
The cheese fondue and the chocolate fondue were amazing! The food was good, but next time I will go for the appetizer and dessert!!
we try to visit here when going through OK city. Service was a little bit poor this trip but it won't keep us from going back.
Fondue is a meal meant to be slowly enjoyed. Talk and wine are essential. The OK City Melting Pot is well lit, cozy, and quiet enough for easy conversation. The staff are accommodating , friendly and never pushy for a group to "finish up". It is very relaxed and fun.
We dined for our 10 year Anniversary. Staff was top notch. I was asked if I’d like rose petals on the table with a candle to set the mood.
Our server was Paris. She was great and worked bartending that night as well. The drinks were yummy.
We ordered the land and sea and were able the substitute the shrimp for steak. I have a shellfish allergy. I was so nice.
We will be back and will share our great experience with friends!
Server never asked if we wanted a beverage. We asked for water & got it 20 minutes after
Fabulous food!!! Definitely a one of a kind experience!!! Would recommend to everyone!! Love it!!
Had a fantastic time! We had the loaded baked potato cheese followed by the steak lovers and the Pacific rim entrees. Not to be out done for dessert we had the flaming turtle chocolate fondue! AMAZING! Definitely will be going back!
I’ve been coming to melting pot for 20 years now. This was my first time ever having to make a complaint.
I made a reservation about a week in advance and requested a private table, as it was a surprise anniversary dinner for my sister and bro in law. We know the restaurant well, and knew the areas that are ‘private’.
When I arrived, the man at the front acknowledged my request and asked me how private I needed the table, and if I wanted a booth or half booth with two chairs. I told him definitely a booth, and that I’m not super picky but I don’t want to be in the main front room full of people with kids, and families. He said ok. They seated us right smack dab in the middle of the family dining area. Between the phones going off, the babies crying, and the singing happy birthday at the top of their lungs by a group of high school kids...I felt the need to say something.
I told my server (who was straight up awesome btw) she said she was wondering about that because she saw that we had requested a private table 🤔, she quickly alerted a manager. The manager was at our table within a min or two of my convo with server. She apologized and offered to pay for the chocolate portion of our meal. I was not looking for free food, but wanted them to know what had happened.
She was very kind, however the guy that gave us the table proceeded to give us rude looks and keep talking and gesturing toward us. It was uncomfortable at that point and we just wanted to leave.
We love melting pot, and I was sad to have this experience. I will still come to melting pot, as it is our tradition to come here, and the managers are fabulous and did what they could to make it right. We appreciated that.
As usual, the food was so yummy! Our waiter was personable and made sure everything was just right. Part of our table was running behind so he made sure we all got caught up. It was for my birthday and as always The Melting Pot helped make it wonderful!
