The Melting Pot in Knoxville is an extremely romantic location for a beautiful date night. I found the staff very professional and friendly. The food was Simply Delicious all the cuts of meat, poultry, and Seafood we're spectacular. The atmosphere was perfect I would recommend this location for any occasion

A nice evening, albeit expensive. Fun to fondue! Their specialty drinks are way too sweet, would not recommend them.

We are longtime patrons of The Melting Pot and thought we would have a nice Fathers Day with your all u can eat special. So you under staff and under prep so your patrons have to wait 1 1/2 hours to get to the meat entree!
Where was a caring manager apologizing for your horrible service? Where was the so-called owner? Not there this time, hmmm.
We paid $10 just to park and totally ruined Fathers Day! We've been on the fence with your greedy high prices for a while, but still came for special occasions... NO MORE!
Good bye forever!
Telling all our friends!

One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a restaurant. We left and ate somewhere else.
The restaurant was unable to keep up with volume. Over an hour to get cheese and salad. Our server seemed be in the middle of a nervous breakdown. Freaked out when we asked for a manager.
The cheese was runny and the house dressing seems to have changed to a very brown-mustardy honey mustard which was not enjoyable at all. We chose not to move onto the next course.
The manager was gracious and apologetic, The shining light at the end of a long hour and a half

The food was wonderful and our waitress did a great job, but unfortunately she had a difficult table with a rude patron beside us. He confronted her outside of the kitchen verbally attacking her, making her cry and I thought she handled the situation in an appropriate manner. I made a point to let the manager know that she was doing a lovely job at our table, as I thought the confrontation was extreme and very uncalled for. I left her a 20% tip, so you know she must be doing a good job! Therefore, jerk at table next door. Her name was Brett, keep her, good waitress, gave good recs on several dishes that my daughter and I asked about. I will inquire if she is working when I make my reservation on my next visit, as I would want her to be my server again!!

I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will suggest that they also ask for Brett to be their server. You need more like her. The manager that evening was also lovely. She handled the situation with the disgruntled patron well. I feel they both deserve something tangent as well as something written in their files and a verbal shout out for their compliment.

Keep up the good work at The Melting Pot. My daughter and I were celebrating her move to Knoxville and a new teaching position. We will be back :) Lucinda Taylor

The food was great but the service was exceptional because of our server (Aaron). He went above and beyond to educate us on the food and menu options.

Very poor and extremely expensive experience. Music too loud, could not have a conversation with the people across the table. Dirty and unsafe.
Not handicapped friendly. Seating options are terrible for a table of 6 to ten. Two cook tops for 10 people? Wait staff lethargic and disinterested. Very disappointing.

This visit to The Melting Pot was a date night for my parents. I got them a Melting Pot gift card for their anniversary in December. My mom is in poor health and declining rapidly. She had one of her best days that evening in a long time.

There is new management with completely new servers. It was not the experience we usually have. Our server left our cheese unattended in the middle of making it. Left our chocolate on the table with no cinnamon or alcohol. Sat for almost 15 minutes at the beginning of the meal with no server. Just not our typical experience here. Hopefully they will improve.

Great experience! We had an amazing server Jasmine who made my daughters first experience at the Melting Pot feel extra special for her. She was celebrating her fifth grade graduation so she made it extra special by bringing out candles and such. She felt like a little princess. Jasmine was so energetic and was an overall great server who was mindful of our needs. Thank you Jasmine!

Then my debit card was left and the staff was amazing helping to search and finding it. I was so appreciative of their assistance. Thank you everyone at Melting Pot you have no idea how much that meant to me!

Frequent patrons on the Melting Pot at various locations. Most recently had dinner at the Knoxville location on a Thursday night. Very understaffed, messy, and chaotic with no manager present. Food was still ok, but we have noticed a significant drop on the quality of food and service at all Melting Pot restaurants over the 24 years we have visited. This past dinner gives us pause for considering future dining dates.

The food was delicious as always! Our server was a bit overwhelmed with another party unfortunately, and we were left sitting with our leftover cheese burning in the pot. Not a pleasant smell. The chocolate was super yummy, but couldn't get a refill on our water until we were paying for our check.

This restaurant is always fun and interesting to eat at. This time, however, we had Aaron for a server and he was the best yet! He was funny, gave us some grteat options we had not had before and made us feel welcome. We will go back simply to have him as a server again!

We had not been to The Melting Pot in 23 years. My oldest daughter was a baby the last time. We had a great time on Saturday night. Our waiter was phenomenal and very helpful. The food was awesome and we were stuffed by the time we finished the delicious desert. We would definitely recommend the Knoxville Melting Pot to everyone!

What terrible experience. After getting our order wrong three times, we finally settled for the wrong thing just because it had been 60 minutes of telling our waiter he was making the wrong cheese fondue. He walked away 3 times to go get the correct one and was gone at least 20 minutes each time before returning with the same stuff he left with asking each time if it was correct. After the third attempt and one hour later we just finally said yes. He then disappeared again for 30 more minutes before returning with salads. I asked for the garlic and wine seasoning and he said sure thing. 15 minutes later still no seasoning. I kindly stopped another waiter who was providing excellent service to his table and he brought it back in less than 60 seconds. We then waited approximately 45 more minutes before our waiter returned back to our table with our meat (which was missing steak on both mine and my husband’s plate). He sits it all down on the table not explaining any cook times or didn’t even put our vegetables in our cooking broth (which was wrong the first time they brought it by the way). That same nice waiter who got me the seasoning corrected this mistake as well. I poured the vegetables in the broth but was never giving the spoon to retrieve them out of the broth. Again the nice waiter got that for us too. We never saw our waiter again the rest of the night. A different waitress gave us refills and even another male waiter took our chocolate order. We love the Melting Pot. It’s my favorite restaurant. We were at this restaurant for over 3 hours from all the waiting. We’ve never been that long and we always do the 4 course meal at every Melting Pot we’ve been too. We’ve never been to Knoxville and the next time we eat at a Melting Pot it will not be this one. We will drive further in order to get better service. Very disappointed in this experience.

2 men came out of the kitchen.. absolutely filthy dirty! And on top of it, it was to smoke a cigarette, at the front entrance to the restaurant, which was very tacky!! We were seated 20 minutes after our reservation.. it took 30 minutes to get a water and we were overcharged. Not the best experience I’ve had here :( which is sad, because I used to love this place. My husband was never a fan but he will never come back after seeing the guys come out of the kitchen like that!

Went to get late night dessert. I would describe the dessert as bland, as well as the chocolate to dip it in, and at $40 for two people, rather a valueless let down.

Server was very polite but the food was prepared very slow for being a simple plate.

It was louder than a sports bar on game night. Probably won't be going back.

Overpriced and under-flavored. Our server recommended ordering a serving each of the Alpine cheese course stating one wouldn’t be enough and would be hard to make, so we ended up paying $20 for a bowl of melted cheeses that came with stale bread pieces, raw cauliflower, carrots, and celery to dip in- not really what I expected. The wine flavor overpowered the cheese. With another course on the way, one cheese order would’ve been more than enough for two to share. Smothering the meats in the sauces in the entree course made the food taste acceptable, but there just doesn’t seem to be a good way to cook three different types of meat in one flavor. The vegetables were disappointing in flavor too. With so many other fine dining options in Knoxville, I won’t be repeating this experience any time soon.

I love the melting pot, but the Knoxville location has changed. Everything felt a little more rushed, and the portions are definitely smaller. Not as great of an experience as we usually have. Server was great, everything else was more mediocre this time.
