The waiter was more than accommodating when helping us choose items. We had never had fondue before and were unsure of what to expect. Over all it was a great date night experience!
We love this restaurant - always have. If we had had a smaller group, this evening would have likely been better. But, with a party of 6, we were sat in the back "party room." The pair of servers in this room was simply unable to keep up with all 4 larger parties. So service was VERY slow. (We are aware meals here often take close to 3 hours - so when I say slow - I mean REALLY slow!) Also, the temperature in that room was super hot - at least 15 degrees warmer than elsewhere in the restaurant. (We asked and were told it was as cool as they could make it.) The lights were on full, so felt too bright (in that room). The food was great and we'll be back. But we won't take a chance on that room in the future.
Was disappointed that there was no cauliflower like the Atlanta location. Other than that it was great
Our waitress was great. 3 out of 4 have never been to fondue and she took time to explain the process to us. We had a wonderful experience dinning at the restaurant.
Great food and service.
Always expect a fun dining experience at the Melting Pot and we were not disappointed. Had the 4 course combination dinner. Traditional gruyere cheese fondue for starter, skipped the salad and got double cheese (you can also substitute for doubke chocolate for desert), surf and turf for the main course and carmelized turtle chocolate for desert. They were all terrific. Service was attentive and helpful and the Sauvignon Blanc wine special tasty and reasonably priced. One minor complaint - the bread for the cheese fondue was not especially fresh, but it did not really detract from the meal, it just could be improved to rise to the quality of all the other items we ate.
Family has been going to Melting Pot Kennesaw more than 10 years. We love it.
Amazing night out. Waited until the last minute to get a reservation and the only ones available were 8:45 PM and 9:15 PM but we headed over early and were seated by 8:15 PM. The bartender served amazing drinks while we were waiting for our table and they continued throughout the night to be exceptional. Our server, James Bond (yes his real name), was OUTSTANDING. Great personality and attentive. Made us feel special. Such a wonderful night...THANK YOU!!!
Melting Pot has always been my favorite restaurant. I was a bit disappointed Saturday night. Changes in menu, changes in plates, drinks, service lacked, very expensive.
We went for our anniversary, has a cozy romantic atmosphere and the food was great. Great wine list, service was great as well.
We had an incredible experience. The one thing to note we didn't realize is that it is more of an experience than just a meal. Our meal ran around 2 1/2 hours for all four courses. Highly recommended for a great date night!
The service by far being the best part of the meal but was accompanied by dirty silver wear. Each set I was given had something on it, made me lose my appetite. The cheese fondue was good but came with stale bread. The main portion was good had the mojo which was quite delicious. The desert it self (the turtle) was great but the stale little plate of rice crispies and what not was not ok. In my opinion wasn’t even close to being worth the money I paid. Neat idea but I won’t be back.
It was fabulous. I hate that it's so expensive, but it's good and fun.
Ate there many, many years ago. No change except no Sterno on the table. Fairly pricey at basically 50 bucks a head, considering your cooking you own food. Portions good but takes too long for everyone to cook their food. The spinach artichoke dip is delicious! Really, you could just go there and eat that or one of the other cheese dips with a salad and be totally full. Main course of meats were ok. Chicken, Steak, Shrimp. Not bad in any way, just not remarkable. The chocolate desserts are also really good, but really, really sweet. Dipping a rice crispy treat into melted white chocolate is enough to make your teeth hurt. Overall it was just OK. I think its much about the experience than the food. Hasn't really changed much since the last time we went. I recommend this place for a date or special occasion or just for appetizers. Dimly lit. Service was very good. You wont leave hungry. May go back one day but certainly not a "must do".
The food and atmosphere were great. It takes awhile to get the meal going, but once it's in motion it keeps flowing. We didn't get the chocolate, we were too full.
The service was pretty bad. Drinks took an hour to get to our table. Disappointing.
We came for Ladies Night, and had a good time. It was pretty busy, so we understood waiting for some items, but our waiter forgot our drinknord3rs and our chocolate came out cold. They didn't turn the burner on for it, and it wasn't heated when it was served. Everything else was great.
Our waitress was amazing and on top of what we needed, and made wonderful suggestions.
We went here for the first time for our anniversary. It was a weeknight, so not sure if it's this quiet all the time, but we appreciated it setting the mood. It was a unique experience, but be prepared to be there a while. It took us about 2 hours. We will definitely be back.
It was amazing and so intimate. Great birthday destination!
We had a great experience. Our server , Andrew , was very courteous and knowledgeable about the food choices. Service was excellent from start to finish of the meal.
Brought our daughter here for Valentines. She loved it and we really enjoyed the evening.
I've been to this location many times and have always had a wonderful experience.
A great place to spend a evening. Good food, and great service. I couldn't have asked for anything more.
Great at distracting you from over priced so-so food with the illusion that cooking your own food at the table should cost more.
This was my first time going. Loved it!!! ❤️ Waitress was awesome
Valentine’s date with our children and to donate to a worthy charity/cause, it was a meaningful gesture that I couldn’t pass up. Chuck was our awesome server, very personable and funny. Our kids loved his stories and he made them feel special and included in the experience.
We bring our kids for the Valentine's date with kids, they love coming every year.
It’s really expensive for what it is. REALLY EXPENSIVE
A great dining experience as always. Very great for dietary restrictions, such as gluten free. Highly recommend.
Delicious food and atmosphere. My seven year old granddaughters first time and she was amazed. Love the cheesesand chocolates. Great for families or a romantic date for 2.
This is our go to place for special occasions. Everyone loves it!
My daughter and I had a follow up date from 3 years ago when we filled out our Daddy/Daughter date night book. We had a blast laughing at our old answers and enjoying the great food. Service was incredible and let us hang out longer than we probably should have.
Great restaurant, always a known standard for finer dining. We've been here a couple of times and it is always consistently awesome.
We loved it. It was "amaze-balls" according to my fiancee. We really enjoyed the dessert fondue.
My experience was very well had a great server that had fun with his job and made it a great experience for me and my wife.
It was a neat experience, not really kid friendly. The dessert was the best part. Very very pricey definitely a glad we tried it but probably won't go again.
Great service! Our server was knowledgeable and funny he made our first meal and experience. Wirthwile. The food delisious!
I went for my birthday and absolutely loved it. They did an incredible job of accomadating the special occasion and the environment was very neat.
Great food. Great experience! Loved the whole idea of fondue ! The booths were very private and intimate, just right for date night. This was my second trip here and I plan on it not being the last.
