   This was our first time here. We made a reservation and when we arrived, I think they were having issues. Not sure what the issue was, but it seemed like they had more reservations than tables. They apologized and you could tell they were trying their best. We were seated and 45 minutes after our initial reservation, a server came over. She was great and knew we now had to hurry. Unfortunately, we were not able to finish our dining experience as we had somewhere to be. Also seemed pricey for the amount of food.

   The experience was not good. It took forever to get our drinks. The cheddar fondue was good, alpine fondue way too alcoholic. This may be because it had to be remade and the pot was not warm. The only thing to dip in the fondue was mediocre bread and small pieces of baby carrot and celery. Salads were decent but had too much dressing on them. Used the cast iron and broth for cooking. Everything took a long time to cook, seasonings did not taste great and the heat generated from the cooking made it uncomfortable. Was not a good value for the cost Did not stay for the dessert- got a coupon but not sure I will be back. I definitely will not go back again for a dinner.

   Service was very slow. Had to be re-seated because with 9 guests they didn’t think we’d want 3 burners. Spent over 4 1/2 hours there. Server charged us for things that we didn’t ask, got parts of our order wrong, and was pretty rude. A 17 year old shouldn’t be trying to handle a party of 9 on her own. Poorly cut meat.

   Took my girlfriend here for her birthday as she kept raving about it and the experience. Got the thursdate special and had the candle with rose peddles on the table waiting for us. Which a lovely setting to come to, the staff was professional and very quick to seat us as we had a reservation set. The waitress was incredibly helpful and gave us wonderdul recommendations and checked up on us regularly while still gave us time to eat. She even joked with us which made the experience all the more fun and memorable. The icing on the cake was when she offered to take pictures for us using my my phone which came out lovely. Would recommend couples who are looking to do something fun and new to try the melting pit out!

   Our evening was fine- not great. I noted in the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday and no one had any idea about it. We waited over 5 minutes for anyone to even come to our table. Then, we waited another five minutes for water. The place was mostly dead and it seems like they should have been more prompt with the service. We usually love coming here to celebrate, but I might have to start looking elsewhere. It was kind of disappointing, unfortunately.

    Service was bad, even for post Covid standards. Was seated and waited 25 minutes before going to look for a server. Asked for drink refills when we could find a server. Food was good. Not impressed

    We had a new waiter that really didn’t know what she was doing. She didn’t really cook the cheese correctly, We didn’t receive plates to eat with she didn’t have any seasoning when she brought our food to cook with. We had to complain in order for her to get it together. I know she didn’t mean any harm but if someone’s new they need to train a little longer until there comfortable because paying the amount you pay you want the best experience and we definitely did not get that . We have been here 3 times and this was the worst visit ever. Also she didn’t wear gloves or have her pot holders and was reaching over our food a little to much 😞

    The whole experience seemed rushed. The server was confused about the menu and what was available. Nice person but not well prepared and seemed to have too many tables. He was always in a hurry. The cheese fondues were excellent and the main courses good. The receptionist couldn't find our reservation at first and was not very friendly. Overall very average service from a place where the dining experience and price would dictate better service.

    Delicious, stupendous, amazing!! Joseph (the manager) was our server and he's fantastic!! This was our first visit and he explained everything. It was the best meal we've had in a long time. We will definitely return!!

    We were pleased with the food, it was exactly what we expected. What was unexpected was the hour wait after we checked in for our reservation. We had booked a 7:30 reservation and weren’t sat until 8:30. Everyone else in the lobby seemed to be in a similar situation. The staff was very polite and apologetic but it was still ridiculous. Don’t accept multiple reservations if you can’t take handle it!

    The service was terrible. It was me and my girlfriend’s first time coming there we had questions. The server didn’t answer any and expected us to just know the bartender took forever to get our drinks. It was not the cleanest. For a restaurant making decent money the booths were torn.     Had a reservation for 8:30 and did not get sat until 9pm. From there we got water and waited another 15 minutes to be asked for our order. We had the white wine sat in front of us to heat up, which had water coming out of it which hit the burner and starter squirt hot water drops onto us. Before any actual food arrived, it was 9:50 and from there we seemed fairly rushed as we were then checked on every 5 minutes. Overall, I think the food was decent and it’s a nice little gimmicky type place, but it really didn’t seem worth the money. Not awful for a one time, but you can definitely get way higher quality elsewhere.

    First time there and it was amazing. The waitress was helpful and explained everything to us. Food was so good, loved the ting yang chocolate pot. Was there for 4 hours but had fun the whole time. Service was busy but they did keep checking on us and letting us know why it was taking so long. Will go again

    Dinner was amazing. The food was delicious, our server was awesome. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the lighting above our table. We were slightly blinded the entire time. But overall it was a fantastic experience and we will be back for another date night!

    When we arrived, we were seated after waiting about 10-15 minutes. After sitting down and looking at the menu for 10 minutes, the waiter came to take our orders. When we were ordering, the waiter informed us that they were only serving 4-course meals that night, which was $75 per person! We did not know this or see this information posted beforehand, so we were very disappointed. We decided to leave since we do not have the money to afford a $150+tip dinner. It was our anniversary and Valentine’s Day celebration, so we were extremely disappointed to have to leave after having this reservation for 2 weeks.

    Our waiter was really awesome and fast. He was very professional and only made a little bit of small talk (we like that). He made sure each course was ready for us as soon as we finished the previous course. We didn’t wait on him at all. The food was fresh and delicious. The fruit quality was great. It was definitely worth the money. The restaurant was quite busy (valentines season) and the staff handled it all very well. We will definitely return next Valentine’s Day!

    We made reservations on a Saturday night for 8 people. This is not the style of restaurant to take a group of people. We waited 20 minutes to be seated and when I asked the hostess of it was going to be much longer, she thought our group had already been taken back to our table. We were still standing there. Once we were seated, we waited 45 minutes to get our drinks. The idea of cooking at your table is very cool but not ideal for more than 2 people. You have only 1 burner for a max of 4 people. It takes a very long time for everyone to cook their own food. Over all, we were at the restaurant for 3 1/2 hours!!!!!

    We had a fun time and our server was nice. The speed of service was quite slow starting with our arrival. The "lobby" area became quite crowded while we waited for our table despite having a reservation. Additional, with a party of four, you must need to specifically ask for a booth/table with two burners. We went for our daughter's 17th birthday and expected the kids to do things their own way on a seperate burner. I did not even know had single burner tables. We have only been to The Melting Pot a few time. In short, it became a bit of a disappointment when we could only pick type of cheese, only one cooking style for the entrees, and only one chocolate flavor for all 4 of us even thought we did 2-Big Nights Out. Finally, when making the reservation it asked if the occasion was for a special event. I answered yes to our daughter's birthday. I did not expect it to mean much but since it was asked, I assumed it would mean something. The server did acknowledge there was a birthday at the table and then said "Happy Birthday" to our daughter after learning it was her. Overall, it was fun, but quite expensive when considering our choices were cut in half for three aspects of the meal. Assuming we go back and have more than two people, I will try to remember to ask for the two burner option. FYI, the question about recommending The Melting Pot to a friend, is actually a "Maybe", but that was not an option. I would for a two person date or a double date when two burners are provided.

    Not best ambiance for date night unless you manage a secluded table. Either very bright lighting for periphery tables or lots of families in more dim center area that also use "Thursdate" for pricing. Would recommend requesting a table hidden away without the overhead piercing bright light for a better date night ambiance.
