We had a great night! Thank you for an awesome night!
We had an amazing dinner. Atmosphere was great and so was the service.
The food was great as usual and our waiter was excellent
My experience was wonderful at the Melting Pot of Gatlinburg, TN. Although they usually do the rose petals and date night set up on Thursday’s for the “Thursdate” event, I asked could we have the set up since it was date night and we were coming in from out of town. I didn’t even have to remind them they had it set up as I requested and it was beautiful. Our server was nothing short of amazing. She was very helpful and explained everything to us. I would come back and visit ANYTIME I’m in town.
Fun experience, the food was great and came out pretty quickly. Our server was quite helpful with his recommendations as well and altogether it made for a very enjoyable experience. Also, get the teriyaki sirloin.
It was good
Disappointed in the Gatlinburg location once again. Finished our food and waited 40 minutes for our server to return with chocolate only to be told they only have dark chocolate available. The chocolate is what we come for. Wasted $150 just to be disappointed by this location again. Not only that, but we had reservations and had to wait 45 minutes for a table. Last year we were 15 minutes late due to traffic and they refused to seat us. Seems pretty hypocritical if you ask me. We decided to get a drink while we waited, but was highly disappointed in the quality of drinks. I ordered a sangria that tasted like a standard cranberry and vodka. My husband ordered a whiskey and coke that tasted like a watered down flat coke. We’ve been coming here on December 30th for years, but maybe this is a dying tradition.
Great food, great staff! Melting pot is always a go to for me!
Everything was great besides our hostess. She’s not someone I’d have greeting customers. Server was great and so was the food.
You are definitely paying for the experience, the amount of food may not fill you up. The kids enjoyed the fun way of eating. I would love to have free refill of veggies. The service here is good and we feel comfortable as far as spacing goes.
Everything was good but felt like we were rushed. The ambiance was perfect. Went for my birthday celebration and they didn’t do anything special even after the waiter said he would make it special.
We felt that the presentation of the food was nothing like pictures on their website. Not a fan of “boiled” meat and fish. . Bananas foster fondue for 2 was disappointing. Frozen Sara Lee pound cake and dried out Rice Krispie treats for dippers? The biggest waste of time and money we’ve ever spent at a restaurant!
I treated my wife here for her birthday. It was our first time, and we thought it was really nice. We got the ultimate, which comes with the 4 course meal, wine or champagne, a dozen roses, rose pedals on the table, and a photo. The experience is something that we had never done before. It’s a great place for special occasions.
Mom and daughter night :)
The manager was very rude and not accommodating for our party. We showed up on time for our reservation and she refused to seat us because the last member of our party was not there. We explained the last member of our party was not eating and we would be ordering before she arrived but the manager still refused to let us sit down. The manager was rude, abrupt, and
I've always wanted to eat at the Melting Pot. I did enjoy it. I should have gotten a more flavorful cheese for the first course since the bread and veggies were sort of plain. The dinner was very good, and it was fun to cook everything. I liked the dessert as well. Overall, it was a unique dining experience. I probably would not pay that much to go again, but I am glad I tried it once.
We made reservations for a Saturday evening. Food and service were delicious. Ambiance is always very romantic. This is an amazing restaurant especially for special occasions. Don't forget to ask for roses and a picture at your next visit
Great food! Superb service! Allow an hour+ to get there if traveling from outside Gatlinburg. Traffic was insane.
Food was beyond amazing! We got the pacific rim with the MoJo and it was amazing!
The food is ok, the dessert fondue is fantastic , but I found the service very time consuming
Very over priced for the small amount of food provided.
The food was excellent and the wait staff was there when you needed them, but unseen when you didn’t. Highly recommended if you are looking for a special night out.
My gf and I anniversary. When they seat us, nothing is even set up even though I called at noon and had spoken to someone about my confirmed reservation. My sister recommended us going here and said they really make you feel special and make it nice for your anniversary. Our server rarely came to us , forgot our drink for my girl , and also took 20 min to get it to her. She even at one point said I know I’m not giving you very good service.” To spend $150, truly never been so disappointed. She didn’t help us at all and it was our first experience together . I would never come back for what we spent and then realized I could have done this at home and not spent what I did . It just was an utter disappointment and I even called on Sunday to talk to a manager because when Saturday night I was too furious to even talk to anyone. The best thing about our night was the view.
Great time. Service was good. Being Gatlinburg busy location. Seated and served in a timely manner. Food was great.
Server was very inattentive and we had to really ask him a lot of questions about how the meal worked etc., he gave us short answers that didn’t help much and was generally disappointing. The restaurant was quite empty on a Monday eve. My husband and I have both worked in restaurants and felt the service was way under par for such an expensive meal. The food was good but not outstanding, you are paying for the experience. The food did come out generally on time. In all it was a great fun meal that would have been sooo much better with a qualified server
We always enjoy the melting pot in Gatlinburg.
Our waiter, Joseph, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped us to navigate the menu and choose dishes we thoroughly enjoyed. Our reservation was right on time which we appreciate, and our tables was tucked away in a private corner and very intimate for two people.
Amazing food and portions are huge beautiful dining experience.
Love love loved this place ! Will definitely be going back!!!!
Been to a few Melting Pots and this one is not up to par with the rest. Lettuce on the salad had brown edges like it had been made the day before. The dippers were soggy and there seemed an overall lack of quality control. Meh at best.
Fondue was reasonably good but they were in a hurry so the cheese and chocolate fondue were cold when they brought them so we had to wait for it to heat up at the table which too quite awhile.
Great food and service! Nice view of the strip
Food and experience was absolutely amazing. Food was so delicious!
The Melting Pot is a dining experience - a little pricey, but so worth it for something special! This is where my daughter wanted to go for her birthday - we had the spinach artichoke fondue appetizer, shared a steak lovers entrée, and had the cookies and cream fondue for dessert - all were delicious!!
Server gave himself a 20% tip for inferior service
Long wait for drinks, Drink not as advertised.1st course delayed.
Checked on us once during our meal
Dipping sauce portions minuscule
Nothing like our 2 trips in the past
Scratching from our “must go” list
5 star quality experience, food, service, and quality
This was our first time at The Melting Pot, overall was nice experience, but this is a dining experience about 2 hours.
Excellent restaurant with great tasting food. Good value on the wine specials. We really enjoyed the Quatro Fromagio Cheese on our cheese course! Bananas Foster on the desert course was also amazing. We had an excellent meal and left satisfied!
