The Melting Pot - Farmingdale Ratings and Reviews
My husband and I went to the Melting Pot for a celebratory dinner, we have recently gotten married. Our waitress Sophia was great, very attentive and accommodating. She even brought out a dish that said congrats newlyweds made from icing, with our dessert, that was such a nice extra touch. We were seated in a nice cozy secluded area right in front of a fire place. We had such a great dinner and the experience was just overall amazing. Definitely will be going back here in the near future!
Another great time at one of our favorite restaurants! Made a mistake ordering the seasonal Apple Cider cheese fondue. Will go with the Classic next time; it's much better. Entrees were tasty as was the Flaming Turtle dessert fondue. Not very comfortable in the new dining area. Mostly because the fondue pot was too far away for me to reach comfortably sitting on the end. Bad planning on their part, but will keep that in mind when making our next reservation.
It was our first time dinning at the Melting Pot but won’t be our last! Our waiter Adam was so great and explained everything which made it more exciting. There was so wait for anything. Loved the team work between the staff and managers. The food was so good. We weren’t overly stuffed which was good bc when the dessert chocolate fondue came, oh boy! it was so good and with unlimited treats we had to pry ourselves away. Would definitely go again!
It was a unique experience. The food and cocktails were very good and it was an enjoyable way to share dinner with friends. Cheese fondue and dessert fondue (especially the white chocolate sea salt with toffee) were the best part. I could have skipped the entree altogether.
Food lost all iys taste when boiled in cooking style. Everything tasted the same. Couldnt differentiate pork from steak from chicken. I wanted to check it oit before the holidays to bring family there. Not impressed. Although the waitress was nice, she had food burner to low and we had to adjist it ourselves tocook or boil our food.
