Service was excellent, food was delicious, booth provided for lots of conversation
Yummy! Zach was fantastic!! Everything was great.
Our server T was amazing and food was delicious as always!
Took 3.5 hours! Our server would disappear for extended amounts of time. Had to ask for refills every time. We won’t go back to this location.
It was our 1st time there.
We Loved it. Our Server " T " was awesome.
Food and Experience was top notch.
We will be back. Thank You
We always enjoy The Melting Pot. Their service is outstanding!
The service was the best! Food was great. Awesome time had by all!!!!
Always a great time and we really enjoyed our server, Mike (or Michael) too.
Service was really good. Food is good but pricey for cooking your own. They do give you more than enough to eat. The Duluth location is a little older and could use some remodel but overall a good spot for celebrations.
First time at the Melting Pot and the service was excellent. They took the time to go over the menu and made the experience very worth while. Christina was a awesome server.
Experience was okay for the kids however I wasn’t that impressed. For price and value there are many better options; just in my opinion. It was different for sure don’t think I’d ever go back.
The Melting Pot had a great Easter Day family brunch deal that we couldn't pass up. It was the first time our kids had fondue and the experience did not disappoint. While the food delivered (how could it not), the day was made by the very friendly and service-oriented staff, led by our server T. He was genuinely ensuring our family had a memorable day and he worked hard to deliver. If you are going to spend 2 1/2 hours on a dining experience, it helps to have friendly folks around to ensure you are well taken care of during your visit.
My only area of opportunity for this MP location is the interior. Under the light of day (which doesn't happen often), the interior looks tired and dated. At night, I'm sure it is dimly lit and cozy for those romantic dinner escapes.
Was not impressed this time at all. Service took 3.5hrs but the the restaurant was not full. We waited 1/2 hour between courses. Quality was not great. Portions for the Easter special of the meat were tiny. I’d be surprised if there was a total of 3oz on the plate. For the price it was ridiculous. And I got the bottomless mimosas. That was a joke as my waiter came so infrequently he only had the glass filled twice. For $20. Pretty appalling. The cheese course was barely edible. All you could taste was the alcohol. Not good. I was very disappointed. I’d taken 8 family members for my birthday/Easter celebration and everyone left hungry and with buyers remorse.
We had a 7:30 reservation, and when we checked in we were told we would be seated in “just a few minutes”. 35 minutes later, we checked our status with the host stand, and were again told “just a few minutes”. We were finally sat at around 8:15pm. It took another 15 minutes for our waiter to come by and take our order. Once we got our cheese course, we sat without another visit from the server for 50 minutes. It’s now past 9pm for a 7:30 dinner reservation, and we hadn’t even made it to the 2nd of a 4 course meal. The communication was poor from beginning to end, the attentiveness of the server was nonexistent, and the entire meal that could have and should have take 1.5-2 hours max ended up taking approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes simply due to poor time management and poor service. Despite everything, the food was good.
Excellent Restaurant! Management and Staff were extremely courteous and attentive.
Service was very slow that night. It has always been great, but that night we had to wait a long time in between courses.
Took 3 hours to eat dinner for my daughters birthday, 25 minutes just to get someone to wait on us. Seemed the kitchen was slow getting food out. Long waits in between everything. Server was great- working with what he could. But overall experience was exhausting.
Everything was wonderful. Our server, Mike, was awesome!
Zack is a great server. Very accommodating and polite. Was a little noisy sitting next to a large table but that won't deter us from returning as it's always delicious.
Everyone was so friendly and the customer service was some of the best I have had. I recommend anyone to visit!
We had a great time celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary. It was our first time there so we weren't exactly sure what to expect. Our server was great and so patient with us as we tried to understand and decide on our meal. We had a wonderful experience and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning!
Not with small children. We dined with a 4-year old and 9-year old for my daughter's 9th birthday. It just took WAY too long! Our reservation was for 6pm and we didnt leave until 9:45. I was surprised our server was not more attentive between courses since we had young kids with us. We easily waited 10-20 minutes between courses for the next course to begin. Food was all gone, and waited for server to realize...then waited for the next course to be prepared. The food tasted FABULOUS but I noticed the portions have gotten much smaller through the years, and the price increased. It was $240 out the door for 3 adults and 2 kids. We will not be back for a LONG time...or will leave the kids at home!
The overall experience was fantastic. If the price was reduced, the volume of customers would probably go up. You have to admit that $40-50 per person, to cook their own food is a bit expensive.
We definitely will return, but it will have to be a special occasion and not a normal 'dining out' choice, so our visits will be few and far between.
Great service! Great food! It was a really nice night.
Our experience was amazing! Mike was our server and he was the best. So funny and helpful. The food also tasted amazing. I will definitely be returning for more dinners here in the future.
Horrible experience! Waited 15min to be seated when you have a reservation. After being seated we waited 30min before we even gave someone our drink order. Finally after complaining to manager someone stepped in to help but the poor guy had lots of tables. Food was just ok! Paid over $200 for 2 adults and 1 child and spent almost 4 hours trying to have dinner. What a joke!
i loved it!! it was a great place to go. My husband enjoyed it as well. The food was great and it was an experience to cook our on food right at the table
We love the Melting Pot Duluth for special occasions. We always feel welcome (I have a special needs son and the staff has ALWAYS been kind and accommodating to him and us). We have been coming here for over 22 years.....love this restaurant!
A fun and memorable evening. They really made it a special date night!
I brought a party of 14 on Saint Patrick’s day and they had no problem seating us and we got to sit in a private area in the back. The Server worked really hard to bring out all of the dishes and explain all of the options. I had a really great time and the kids love dipping the food especially the dessert where you dip desserts in melted chocolate. Also I noticed the have romantic meals for date nights where they have different packages like for example put rose petals on the table when you arrive to set the mood. I think I’m going to surprise my wife and take her back just the 2 of us soon...
Have been there multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Good food and great service!!
Always great! Our food was fabulous and the service was top notch.
Gwen is an ausome waitress. We drive over 125 miles to eat at this Melting Pot because of her service.
I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes.
The service was excellent as always at this location. It’s always a good time
My daughter and I went for my birthday (she lives out of state where there isn't a Melting Pot). The service was excellent. My favorite parts are the breads and fruit with cheddar/Swiss cheese fondue and the chocolate dessert fondue. A fun experience with lots of time to talk. The booth walls are high enough for total privacy between booths.
This was an amazing spot. We just recently moved to GA, and I've been to the melting pot in NY, this one felt just like that one. There's little new things on the menu but great atmosphere. A bit pricey, but food was amazing. Come hungry.
Perfect Date. Had so much fun. Food was great
I waited 40+ minutes to be seated after my reservation time. We would have likely waited longer, but a group in front of us left after a long wait, and we were seated "faster." I received very little information/explanation about this wait time from the staff. Any time I tried to ask for more information I was just treated with annoyance by the staff. Also, after being seated the meal took over 2 hours to complete because the long wait time between courses. At one point we had to ask for water refills for 30+ minutes before our waitress brought us water. While the restaurant and food were nice, the experience with the staff and wait were not worth the cost of the meal. I left the restaurant at 11:20, when my reservation was for 7:30. This forced us to change all of our evening plans. Better time management/reservation management from the restaurant/management is necessary.
I took my mom here for her birthday. The service was excellent, very attentive and personable. Food was to die for! Will definitely be coming back, but maybe just for the cheese and chocolate, as it was our favorite part!
