Seated 30 minutes past reservation. 15 minute wait for a server once seated. Out of green goddess. Needs a remodel. Dust on lights directly above cooking pot. Needs a revamp of management as we’ve had issues year over year with the most recent visit being the worst. Overbooking reservations and seating walk ins seemed to be the problem as staffing was adequate and management should have known their staffing needs.

I reserved a table for the special “Thursdate”, which was supposed to be a romantic dinner with candles and rose petals. After we were seated in the main lobby area without candles or rose petals on the table we were later told that we were seated at the wrong table. Rather than offering to seat us at the correct table, one little candle and rose petals were sprinkled on the table in front of us. We would have preferred to have moved to a quieter, more intimate area that we are used to being seated in. The table adjacent to ours also had a couple arguing half the time which made the ambiance even worse (not that this is the restaurant’s fault)! The food, as past experiences have brought as back, was delicious as usual. Our waitress was very sweet, despite seeming inexperienced in dining etiquette. Our waitress did forget to turn on the burner when it came to the 4th course and didn’t come back to check on us for a long time so my husband ended up turning the stovetop on himself! We were only offered one refill of water throughout the meal so most of the last course we were also without any drinks and no offer for a second glass of wine, etc. and didn’t see our waitress again until the bill was due. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and look forward to being seated in the “Lover’s Lane” next time!

Started off rough. Had a reservation for 7:45 but didn’t get seated until about 8:20 which was a bummer. Menu was kind of confusing for a first timer having a few 4 course meal options that were all very similar. Once we got it figured out it was fine. Waitress was helpful in explaining the menu. I liked the simplicity of explanations for each menu item and I think there was a good number of choices for each item, not overwhelming but enough options to find something for everyone. Cheese fondue was pretty good, good dipping options as well. Salad was alright, nothing crazy good. The entrees were interesting. I liked the concept of cooking my own food and having control over that. Simple explanations of how to cook each item. The sauces were good, lots of variety. The best part, however, was the chocolate fondue. Without a doubt one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. I would drive an hour here again just for that. Only complaint is I wish had more of it lol. Definitely will be back. Be aware: you share a pot with the person you’re with so make sure you can agree on the cheese, entree, and chocolate. You get your own salad. If you have very different tastes you may still be able to find something that works, but it may be more difficult.

Had a Valentines dinner with my wife. Everything was great from food over service to decoration and making sure that everything was according to our expectations. Only downside was though, that behind our booth was a family with 3 little kids and a baby. Kids were a little noisy, I know there isn’t really anything one can do about it, but that did not take away the great time we had. I wish that we had been asked before being seated, if we would like to sit in their Lovers Lane a more secluded 2 seated area.

I booked our nite out from the comfort of my couch and showed up a bit early to find our table was ready . We were in no way rushed and were there probably 2 hours total as we fully enjoyed our early Valentines meal .

Amazing place and amazing visit! Such a sweet server, Keyawna, was amazing! The general manager even made a trip by to share his secret fondue favorite (shh I wont tell!). I was nervous about coming alone and yet it was better than I would have ever expected! Wisconsin Cheddar, classic and delicious (apples with cheese, who knew!), I was not expecting the house salad to be such a highlight of my experience but I would love another one of those right now lol. Salad by candlelight is definitely the way to go! Course three was entree and Thursdate menu had everything from chicken to steak to seafood and even a mushroom pasta! And don't forget the veggies! Last but not least, the chocolate fondue was to die for! I tried The Original for the first time and it was perfect for the dippers that came along with it! Then not only was the meal absolutely exquisite (thats a fancy food reviewer word lol) it was their treat! I made sure Keyawna would have a nice tip on the table though! And while I was shoveling the last of the chocolate fondue in my mouth, they gave me a cute little gift box of chocolate covered strawberries! I havent gotten to try those yet but they look amazing and are good size (when youre a chocolate covered strawberries girl like me size does matter!) I had a fantastic night and I will definitely be back soon! Thank you Melting Pot for the amazing experience I will never forget!

The restaurant was running about 15 minutes behind on reservations so we sat at the bar to have a drink, the bar was not clean and neither was the lobby. When we were seated as soon as we sat down our server asked if we were ready to order, didn’t offer water, had to ask for it. She brought water but no straws, had to ask for those and the wine list was limited some of which they were out of. Our cheese was runny and they gave us tortilla chips as dippers (not a good idea for hot fondue). Our salads came without garlic and wine seasoning being offered. The raspberry vinaigrette was very vinagery and the Caesar had no flavor. Our entree came… late when our pot had been boiling for 10 minutes. Our cheese plates were not ever taken. The potatoes were mushy, the zucchini was frozen and we had to ask for a search and rescue spoon after the server said they were all dirty but she would see what she could do. We had to afl for more sauces. It came time for dessert and we had to ask tor a menu to look at the options. Our chocolate came with overly ripe bananas which we did not eat and the chocolate portion was stingy. We used to the enjoy the Melting Pot for special occasions but don’t think we will be returning.

Overall service was good, we had a very personable waiter. We waiting a while from entree to dessert, it took a while for someone to clear the table. We didn’t get any refills on our drinks, which was frustrating. However the food was great, and we do enjoy the experience of it all. We will continue to dine with them.

Had a reservation and still didn’t get sat for 30 minutes. Overall the food was not great. For 100+ dollars would have rather gone to Flemmings!

We had a 30 minute wait from our reservation because the restaurant was short staffed. The wait was 100% worth it. The staff was fantastic. Our waiter, Chaste was absolutely fantastic. He was attentive and nice without being over the top. We had such a great meal and would recommend this Melting Pot to anyone.
