Can be a little pricey if you go for the full experience, but the ambience and the food especially if you like fondue is just exceptional. We have been there about six times over the years and it continues to get better.

This place has went down hill in the past 3 years which is sad!! Our waiter seemed irritated from the getgo. The dining room could use a through cleaning. This visit was reserved as a birthday and they didn’t mention a word. My son turned 13 and this was to be special. :(

Food was great as always. A little disappointed in that we told the server we were celebrating a birthday for a 12 year old. We were only expecting a candle, nothing more. All we got was a Happy Birthday note on our bill. Very disappointing!

We had a great experience and amazing service. Our server, Lisa, was excellent. The meal was spaced out in a timely manner. We celebrated a 16th birthday and had a fun time enjoying a delicious meal.

My teens like this place, but I would not go back again unless I had to for one of their birthday requests. Ambiance is dark and damp, due to the fondue pot steam I am sure. I felt like I was in a damp basement. I did not like the bourbon bacon cheese fondue at all. The bourbon taste was too strong so we had to stop eating it, and I like bourbon! The server was going to make it right and bring us a new one with less, but we were ready for the next course. The quality of the meat was very good and was surprised how fast the little pieces cooked. But with 4 of us eating and 12 skewers in the pot, arms and elbows were flying, pieces were getting knocked off in the broth and I was sweating a ton with the hot steam and burner in front of me. Dessert was a hit. I guess I have learned that I like to get dressed up and be served when I go out vs cook my own food and walk out with my makeup all steamed off. lol

We had the BEST time at dinner. We have been so many times but our server, Alyssa P, went ABOVE AND BEYOND. She explained everything, had great recommendations and was overall one of the best servers we have ever had. (not just here but anywhere). We loved our food as usual! Cannot wait to come back and will def be requesting Alyssa! (:

Melting pot was great as always. Loved our waiter (Cole). Very attentive and welcoming. Good was great. Large table next to us was loud but they were celebrating something so it’s fine. My only concern is with the reservation process. I reserved for 6 people and even received that confirmation but the hostess showed only 2 people. Of course they were professional and still able to seat us but I now will be calling instead of using the online process as it obviously has a break down somewhere. Love melting pot. Everything about. Will return

While it was still a good date night choice, as it turns eating into an experience, it was not as good as it was last time I went to the Larkspur location of the Melting Pot, though that was probably a decade ago. Likely because this location is in the basement of a mall it just looks cheaper than the waterfront location I had been to previously. This showed in elements like the ceiling panels that were never unique and are now showing their age. In terms of food this also just up in the dipping bread which was relatively blah. But the service was great and the meat course was really good. So this meal still gets the good grade of a B+ which is down from my previous experiences at the Melting Pot which earned an A grade.

The s’mores and turtle dessert was delicious! The chocolate was the best I’ve ever tasted. The presentation was perfect! The melting pot is expensive and not someplace to go with a large group. After reviewing the menu and talking with our party of five, we agreed on dessert only for several reasons. I wish it was on ground level, it seemed to be in a dungeon. No menu for kids. A full meal would take over 2 hours due to cooking times and courses.

The service was fantastic. We had a party of diverse dietary restrictions and Jen, our fantastic server, as well as the rest of the staff, were absolutely outstanding. Beyond accommodating and attentive, it was a wonderful birthday experience for my daughter. Thank you, Melting Pot!

The experience as a whole was very fun. Three of our utensils were dirty, the table was wiped, but you could still feel the grease. The server was very attentive and we constantly had refill. Overall the food was okay. Nothing was great tasting, it was definitely more about the experience.

Avoid this place. Extremely over priced. Food was terrible. I would never go back to this place. Service was great. But we paid $185 for a few pieces of chicken and some vegetables to dip in a pot of broth and cook ourselves. Go to a Korean hot pot instead. Much better food and will cost a third of the price.
