   My husband and I have been going to the melting pot for a long time. I think this place has run its course with us unfortunately. We’ve now had full conversations about whether it has been purchased by private equity because…. 1) the cheese and meat course pots are now pre-made in the kitchen, and have significantly less flavor. I am not sure what they added to the cheese to get it to be a liquid when not on a burner, but it’s so bland now! I understand doing this makes it easier to get folks in and out, and allows servers to take on more tables, but this was a good differentiator with really nice conversations. 2) beef flavor and quality has gone down remarkably; the filet is now an add on and honestly tastes like sirloin (don’t do it!!!) 3) the new decor is so austere - the place looks like it was designed by the folks that did Hampton Inn The plus side is the prices are very accessible now, but I miss when this was truly a BIG NIGHT OUT. Pun intended. Bring back the old ways, I’m happy to pay more for the experience!!

   There are no changing tables in any of the bathrooms. Definitely not kid friendly. Had to take our dessert to go and didn’t even get what we paid for. Portions were way less than they use to be.

   Was celebrating my son’s birthday. Food, portions, and service were good. Everyone enjoyed themselves as nd had plenty to eat!

   Very small portions and the service was terrible except at the end when he wanted to turn the table.

   This was actually a very disappointing experience. I was celebrating my 50th birthday with family and hadn’t been to Melting Pot in years. I had remembered Melting Pot being a fun experience. This was not. The server accidentally spilled and broke a full glass of red wine on my new cream shirt. I felt bad because I know she was embarrassed. While we helped her clean the table, she said I will talk to my manager to see what he can do. We then had no eating utensils or napkins for the first course because our server didn’t return. Ultimately at the end of the meal, when we were stuffed after eating half of the chocolate fondue dessert, the manager comes out with the bill and another plate of dessert saying he took off one glass of wine. It was the least he could do. You don’t say? My shirt is ruined and I obviously couldn’t drink the glass of wine spilled on me and you are so kind as to not make me pay for it? I was shocked as this is a higher end restaurant and I would expect a better experience. The food was average and I had to sit through the meal with a wet shirt. We asked to speak to his manager who said he was sorry but he really couldn’t do more. He could pay me out of his own pocket for a new shirt. First of all, the shirt was from a high end retailer so the bottle of wine was a fraction of the price. I was really just so annoyed they acted like I should be grateful they weren’t making me pay for that glass. They said The Melting Pot could not take responsibility for the incident. So I’m sure you can understand this was a terrible experience. The environment was not what it used to be and it was not an upscale experience. They certainly do not belong in the same class as the restaurants they are trying to compete with. I get better service and quality from Chick-fil-A.

    Justin our server (who’s also the manager) was AWESOME!! He made all sorts of great suggestions and had us laughing the whole time! Thank you for the amazing experience 😊
