The Melting Pot - Cincinnati Ratings and Reviews
Excellent table service. The bar was a kinda slow with drinks but not terrible. The table next to us was disturbingly loud and annoying but left shortly after we were seated. The entire staff was very helpful & friendly. It’s maybe a little pricy but we enjoy it enough that it’s no big deal. Overall a very pleasant experience.
We have long been fans of the Melting Pot, but this was our first time at the Cincinnati location. The service was above and beyond, and especially helpful and conscientious with our food allergy concerns. I had no idea there were such extensive gluten free options at Melting Pot! We were able to relax and enjoy our meal. Once we left we realized that the restaurant had been closed for almost an hour at that point - and we had no idea! We weren't rushed and our server was even offering additional dippers to finish our chocolate before we left. I'm sorry we were just passing through that night because if we lived in the area we'd definitely return!
We went to The Melting Pot the other day to celebrate a special occasion and it was wonderful. We've been to this location quite a few times and it has never disappointed. Although it can be an expensive place to eat (depending on what you decide to get), it's worth it for the great food, service and atmosphere.
Celebrating our wedding anniversary tonight with friends. The 4 of us had a wonderful evening. From the cheese fondue handcrafted table-side, to the amazing chocolate s'mores to top off the night - everything exceeded our expectations. Kudos to our server for his attention to detail.
The service was sad. The place was busy. We kept looking for our server and she was lost for 20 minutes at a time.
Even with reservations ended waiting for 30 minutes. We finally had to start laughing that people seated after us finished their meals and left before dinner arrived.
Sad jus sad
At this visit we were disappointed that the waitress, though very kind and professional seemed to push us along quickly and quite unnecessarily as there were plenty of open seats. It was 1:30 p.m. and we wanted to enjoy the ambiance and romance of being away from the kids...but it ended up feeling like we were not eating and moving along as fast as she wanted us to. Maybe she just wanted to make sure we weren't waiting on anything, but we literally weren't through one course half way before she would try to bring or bring the next one.
We absolutely love the melting pot :) This last time that we went on a weekday and it was unexpectedly crowded. That makes me so happy for the melting pot business wise - although, it took us twice as long to get our food & check. This was simply a staffing problem- our sweet waitress was managing too many tables. The food was still delicious, as always! I know that the Melting Pot will be able to adjust accordingly to their higher influx of guests :) We can't wait to come back another time!
The food is rather ordinary, good "home cooking" like ingredients. The service is phenomenal and far above what is usually encountered. The experience of enjoying fondue cooking is great after so many years since I last did it. All in all, a fun experience and a worthwhile place to go if you haven't tried fondue in a while.
