Daughters birthday!
We were sat 45 minutes after our reservation. Service was very slow. Food was good.
Took over 45 minutes to get our drinks even with talking to a manager. We had two couples at the table and was told our pots would just be doubled and they for sure were not. Both couples finished the pot with half the food on our plate still.
Our 27th anniversary celebration at The Melting Pot was enjoyable from beginning to end. Our server was warm and pleasant, our service was quick, and our food was high quality and absolutely delicious! We will be back.
Wonderful atmosphere with no pressure to rush... we were there 3+ hours and the service was fantastic. The food was really good... not Jeff Ruby's quality meats but very good.
We will definitely be back.
Great place for a special occasion - Valentine's Day, birthday, anniversary
It was great! Our server was also amazing! He was super sweet, and made sure we were good before he left every time :)
Great place for date night. .................................
We love the Melting Pot and have celebrated several special occasions there.
During this visit, we noticed that the restaurant "updates" now impede the romantic and intimate vibe that it once held. The tables are open, separated by thin walls that look like permanent COVID-19 dividers and rather detract from the ambience.
Aside from the renovations not being to our taste, we also felt extremely rushed during our meal. Typically dinner out at this restaurant (especially when ordering drinks and the 4 course experience) takes around 2.5-3hrs and we plan ahead for the slower paced evening. However, in the middle of the first course, the 2nd was brought out. We hadn't even begun our salads (or finished the cheese yet) and they were putting the 3rd course on the table. We finally asked them to hold off and explained that we were feeling rushed. We were asked about which chocolate course we wanted no less than 4 times while trying to enjoy our entrees and did take note that others around us were finished with their full 4 course meal, at the pace set by servers, in about 1hr20mins as though to speed up turnover rate.
The food was delicious as always, but the visit as a whole was our most disappointing experience with this establishment.
Food was amazing, our waiter did a poor job. She was never around, and seem to have a horrible attitude from the beginning & went missing 15-20 min at a time. Turned down our idle so the pot took long time to cook. We had to have another waiter come turn it up because We didn’t realize. We had to ask other waiter continue to help our table when we needed things, it was bad!!

We went for Valentine’s Day. We had a great experience, but felt that it wasn’t a great value due to the set holiday menu and increased prices.
Valentine's 2021. Awesome food, good wine choices.
Great cheese, entries, and dessert.
I would come again for sure!
Horrible experience- will never visit again. I stated I wanted dessert only on the reservation and I told the hostess and the server- they took our drink order and then a manager came and said it was a Valentine’s Day menu only AND the restaurant was empty! Disappointed and will NEVER go back as it’s over rated and over priced anyways just thought it would be fun to do with my kids to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Anonymous, So sorry to hear of the miscomunication that occured. We run pre-fixed menus on major holidays to ensure great guest experiences. While we understand there are a small percentage of guests who prefer to have less courses on these big days, the majority would like to do otherwise. Also, sorry to hear about your other feelings about our restaurant. Please reach out to me at thomas.reiff@meltingpotfranchise.co if you would like to discuss further. Thomas R. - Owner
The waitress was amazing so nice and the food was amazing.
The food and experience was nice. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was how hot it was while waiting by the bar for our table.
Did not know it was a special menu... was more informed. Very expensive for what you get.
Anonymous, So sorry that there was a miscommunication. Please feel free to reach out to me at thomas.reiff@meltingpotfranchise.co as we would like to be able to help put things back on track. Thanks for your time and understanding. Thomas R. - Owner
Staff was very attentive. Everyone who worked there assisted each other in clearing completed courses and refilling drinks for us. It is a bit pricey but it was a great choice for Valentine’s Day. The meats were a tad over seasoned but overall it was enjoyable.
Jason G, Thanks for coming in to try out our restaurant. We are sorry to hear that the concept did not feel like a great fit for you. We are glad you enjoyed our guest service and wish you the best of luck on your dining journey. Thomas R. - Owner
I loved it! The chocolate fondue was amazing!! I got the Land and Sea and it was also excellent as well. I will definitely come back.
It was my fiancée and I’s 2 year anniversary. The first thing I have to put out there, is that the value for the $$$ you’re paying is terrible. It felt like an overpriced family restaurant where you cook your own food. Don’t get me wrong, I love the idea of cooking at the table, but not for $100 and subpar food at that. Our waiter (goes by his last name “Hershey”) was hitting on my fiancée basically until I politely told him repeatedly that we were okay without his help. I hope that if you decide to blow your money at this place that you have a better experience than ours. Oh, one good thing, the dessert was amazing and they have decent scotch.
Hello and thanks for taking the time to provide us with feedback from your recent experience. We are very sorry to hear that the experience was not up to your expectations. We will of course use your feedback to improve service moving forward. Glad you enjoyed the scotch and dessert. We hope to see you again in the future. - Thomas R. - Owner
Worth every penny! My 14 and 12 year old sons and I had unforgettable experience
Excellent meal and well worth the money. They were very clean and practived social distancing. ALl of the safe and patron's wore masks.
Wow! Wow wow wow! What an experience. It was amazing. I’ve heard about this place for years. I’ve also heard it’s expensive. I found that it was very reasonably priced. I went with my niece and from the moment we walked in, to the moment we walked out it was very friendly service. We were greeted by the manager and then the hostess. The manager sat us and gave us the name of our server and went over some menu basics with us as we were seated. Our server came over and was very friendly and funny. He reiterated menu choices and left us to look over the menu and decide as he got our drinks. We got the 4 course lunch combo with a couple of substitutions. First course was the Wisconsin cheddar fondue. It came with honey wheat bread, french bread, pretzel roll, apples, and veggies to dip. Everything was new to me so I tried several different ways and it was good. Next course was the house salad. Looked wonderful. Next course was the main entree. We had herb seasoned chicken, teriyaki steak, pepper steak and seasoned pork. We chose the Mojo broth. A delicious vegetable broth with Caribbean seasoning and then they add fresh minced garlic, cilantro, fresh squeezed quarters of lime and orange. They toss the fresh veggies in the broth first, broccoli, baby potatoes and mushrooms. I don’t eat mushrooms but my niece does. I don’t eat broccoli either but let me tell you what. I ate so much broccoli that day. It soaked up those delicious flavors and juice and was amazing. And they bring you refills on your veggies if you want do we got more potatoes and broccoli. Yum! Then you have your skewers for the meats. They give you a sheet explaining the times for cooking your meats and describing the sauces. It was soooo good. And I’m slowly eating slower and slower. Then came dessert. Milk chocolate sauce, strawberries, pineapple, pound cake, blonde, brownie, bananas, Belgium waffle, and rice crispy treats. Soooooo much! The portions of everything are small but it ends up as a lot
As always food and service was great. Always a fun experience.
Our server was the best part of our experience. She made the experience! However the ambience was unremarkable.
The food was amazing! The Melting Pot is such a cool restaurant idea!
Marty was conscientious. Professional. And very knowledgeable about the menu and offered suggestions we had not considered. Everything was great! Love the fact you can dine very leisurely. Thanks!
We came for our anniversary. We had made a reservation for 8:15. We showed up 5 minutes early but we’re happy to wait. We didn’t get seated until 9:20. They rushed us out the door at 9:50.
Very fun and unique experience. Actually got my teenage daughters to put their cell phones down and enjoy time together!
Rachel was amazing, she definitely helped us out at first timers! We stuck with her perspectives and ordered based upon her views and it was SO good! We had to end up taking food home for tomorrow. We will definitely be returning for our anniversary.
First time eating here for me and my girlfriend. Great experience. Friendly, informative service. Food was amazing. You get to cook your entree on the table. Will definitely be coming back for another dinner date.
First time there and it was very good! The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and how it all worked!
It was great! The food was excellent! Our server was very friendly and did a great job explaining everything! We will defiantly be going back.
Food was still good. It is not as nice for a date night as it used to be. Not a fan of the new look.
This is a fun time to spend as a couple or with friends. If you are doing the full experience plan on it taking at least two hours.
This was our first time at The Melting Pot Cincinnati and was worried when we first pulled up but once you go inside, the restaurant is amazing. Clean, spacious and well lit. Our server Matt was great. Very friendly, wore a mask and was prompt with everything we needed. We're about 40 mins away and will visit again soon.
Perfect experience with the greatest service
We love the Melting Pot! Tonight, we had EXCEPTIONALLY good service. Our server, Ariel, was amazing. I do not think I’ve ever had better service, at any restaurant, ever. She made our night out completely awesome and worth every penny. The food was also excellent, as usual.
Good food and great service! A fun way to celebrate a family dinner!
Specifically ask not to seated near the restroom. Number 1. The men's door swings open wide and #2 and the door bangs shut. Very annoying. I have made reservations twice and been seated in area twice, I won't return for a 3rd time.
Great food and service. We asked if they could turn down the lights to increase ambiance and they did, making out experience even better. Always a great time at this location!
We took our kids here (home from college)I thought they would enjoy the novelty of fondue. Mind you, we typically prefer fine dining or almost anything in OTR depending on our mood. This was the most overpriced low quality food we’ve eaten in a long long time. The bread was stale., steak was chewy. The cheese fondue came with mostly (stale) bread...3 small pieces of broccoli, carrot and celery. Our server let us order a ridiculous amount of food despite my questioning it. Even our college kids thought the food was mediocre at best. The only redeeming component (barely) was the yin/yang dessert. We will never eat here again.
