It was nice. Even thought we noted it was my birthday in the reservation, no one acknowledged it. That was kinda sad. Usually restaurants will do something special for the birthday person. Our waitress was very nice, but was slow with drink refills. Overall it was ok. I probably wouldn’t pick it for a “special “ occasion again though. :(
Our service was outstanding. The food was delicious.
Food was excellent as always. Good anniversary dinner.
Took my daughter for her 30th birthday. Just the two of us. Stayed for four hours and had a blast. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. Good time.
A mothers day gift from my daughter had a great time our waitress was awesome!
Great time and food and service was wonderful. Highly recommend
Server lexi was very friendly and a great server. Enjoyed multi course dinner and dessert
We went to Melting Pot for our 1st wedding anniversary and had a lovely time. We got one of the private booths - it was very romantic. Our waitress, Lexi, was great - super awesome at explaining how long to cook the meat for, and all that. Would definitely return for another special occasion.
Went here for our first anniversary and loved it! It was romantic and the food was great! The dessert was to die for!
Waitress was wonderful. She was only there for two weeks but performed great service
I love melting pot. This was the first time I tried the oil cooking style for our entree and I think the tsble was turned up too hot, to get the center of our chicken done then the outside was hard. And we smoked up the whole front of the building. I will still go back and ask for it to not be turned up as hot next time.
Fondue is something my family tends to do every New Years, but very rarely do we actually go out to the Melting Pot - we do all the work ourselves at home. I loved this! The prices were less steep than a I was expecting, and the pacing of the meal was amazing! However, if you're not used to fondue I would warn that it takes a good deal of time to get through a full meal - our reservation was at 3:45 and we left around 8:15. 😂
It was very overpriced. I had the strawberry pecan salad, there was maybe 10 pieces of spinach and 1 strawberry cut in 4 pieces, i paid 6.95 for that. i got 3 types of meat, salmon, shrimp and chicken, 3 shrimps, 3 pieces of chicken (about the size of mcdonalds nuggets) and 3 pieces of steak (same size as the chicken) for 2 people it was 104$ and we didnt even get full. I will never return, the next day, Mothers Day, i was severely sick. Waste of time, money, and the drive.
Excellent food and service. A very elegant experience.
Brought my 11 year old son there, he loved cooking his own food!
We had a great time at The Melting Pot. The service was awesome and the experience was one we will be talking about for a long time. However, the price we paid was not worth the amount of food we got. Even just adding more vegetables and bread would have helped us feel more satisfied. With a party of 8 adults, we only got two small bowls full of vegetables for the main course. While we really enjoyed ourselves the first time, we all agreed we wouldn't be going back again anytime soon. It's just too expensive for what you get!
We’ve gone to the melting pot quite a few times, but unfortunately each time we go, our experience gets a tiny bit more sad. The service is getting a little unpredictable, as there are new servers every time we go. The food portions seem to be getting smaller, which is never a good sign. Each time we make a general reservation, we show up on time and still have to wait 15-30 minutes while people who have later reservations get seated before us. We enjoy the melting pot, but this last visit seemed to be lacking the things that we loved about it the first time we went!
Food was good, but the meat portion was vary tedious. We didn't know how long to cook things, and there was nothing written on any of the table literature. Waitress was new, and was still getting used to the menu and serving everything. Unfortunately, we had to ask for water several times (she never brought our diet sodas, so we just kept asking for water), and she didn't clear the table before serving next portion.
The dinner was over 3 hours because of the multiple “idle times” between initial seating to first course and between courses. These were from 45 minutes or 30 minutes each time. The food quality was as expected, but it appeared to be understaffed as the waitress was very busy but seemingly always behind.
Our server Mike was wonderful! We were celebrating our daughter's 13th birthday and he made it awesome
Waiter was friendly and very helpful for navigating the menu. Food was fantastic, very relaxed dining. Set aside about 2 hours for dinner and have a timer for cooking times.
The Melting Pot is a must-visit in Indianapolis! Delicious food. A pretty penny, yes, but the experience is worth it! Unparalleled.
This was our first time at Melting Pot. My son gave me a gift certificate. Wow, did I feel special when I left. It was great from the cheese to the dessert. I highly recommend this friendly, helpful staff, this wonderful food, and this great location!
Nothing was good at all!!! For over a 100$ I expect food to be worthy. We wasted our time coming. I won’t go back & i’d Advise if you haven’t went it’s not worth going honest review
It was a great time and our server was very attentive!
The experience was a good one. Food was great and had plenty of gluten free options.
Melting Pot has always been my favorite restaurant, however, this was my first time to this location. Ambience was not romantic at all(as I’m use too). Very loud restaurant. Servers, management and guests were so loud you couldn’t have a private conversation amongst your own group without yelling. Service was great, food always perfect. Don’t think I’d be going back to this location
The food and service were fantastic. They definitely make a profit though...
The food and service were good, the restaurant was dirty
Great experience for prom dinner
The Melting Pot is awesome! Great spot for celebrating a special occasion. They have private booths which adds to the romantic side. Great servers, fresh ingredients and delicious margaritas!!! The Melting Pot made our 10th wedding anniversary special and unique!
Very expensive for the small portions. Bread for cheese fondue was stale
I was a little sceptic since our daughter had Celiac (Gluten free).
Server, Michael, was fantastic and more GF items than not. Our daughter jumped for joy when she got GF bread in a restaurant.
Food tasted great.
Desert was to die for.
Long, long evening. Courses come very slowly, lots of waiting. I think that’s why it’s considered romantic, lots and lots of time to talk.
If on a date, ask for Lovers Lane.
Love the private seating options and simplicity of the menu, only downside is having to agree on the type of fondue, especially when you and your date have very different tastes! Still amazing no matter what you get!
Amazing and fun!
The food was great and so were the drinks. However, we were sat between two very loud tables that somewhat infringed on our experience.
We had never been and didn’t know what to expect . Our waitress was very helpful and suggested things for us . We ended up doing all theee . Cheese, meat and chocolate . It was all awesome! We look forward to going back .
