Lots of screaming kids. Food was pricey for what you got. Screwed up my gift certificate and then told me the money had been subtracted; it clearly had not. Will not ever go back
Food was great as always. Fun to be able to cook your main entrée the way you want to. Our waiter was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu. This is still a restaurant I would only go to very occasionally as it cost my boyfriend and I $130+ for a long island ice tea, two glasses of moscato, and the dine for two option (around $50 per person), which is a tad pricey for the amount of food you get in my opinion. We got the 4 cheese fondue, which was tangy and delicious with the bread cubes that came with it. The salad was a standard Caesar, but good, and we both got the steak lovers, which the meat just melted in your mouth. We finished with the banana foster chocolate fondue which was the perfect ending to the dinner experience. My long island ice tea was mixed well and my boyfriend's moscato was nice and sweet. It was a great place to choose for our date night, it's just too bad it was $130+ for the night for just two people.
Absolutely blown away!!! Our server was patient and informative, funny and attentive. The food was FANTASTIC!!!! And the atmosphere was great.
Our waiter was the best I’ve ever had. We had a wonderful night.
Took my wife on a date night, endless fondue was a fantastic value! We come here frequently because it is our favorite place. Service was somewhat slow but everything was great as usual!
The service that we recieved was exceptional. It was our first time at any Melting Pot restaurant and our waitress was very patient and kind explaining the menu to us. However, the first thing I noticed was the strange aroma throughout the restaurant , which I presume to be the broth that you cook the meat in, but It was fowl. It smelled kind of fishy and it made it very hard to breathe. It was also very warm, which heightened the stench. I made reservations and we were sat in this nice quiet back area that was pretty private. I hadn't requested a private back room, but I was so thankful to not be out in the main dining room bc of how loud it was out there. The back room had a classy, romantic vibe, that I was very thankful for. We got the cheese fondue and the chocolate fondue. We skipped the 4 course meal because of the price. The 2 fondues came to about $30.00 which was very reasonable for two people to eat a light dinner. The experience was fun.
The waitress was great and the food was delicious. Melting Pot never disappoints.
The food was very good and the service was excellent, everytime we come to the melting pot always a quality experience.
We have dined at Melting Pot several times over the past couple years and always enjoyed it. Usually we come in for the 28th on the 28th specials. This time when we went the food was excellent but our server was not attentive. We were there celebrating my husband's birthday and had ice cream cake for dessert. However he did not bring us forks and when he said he was leaving to get us forks he never came back with them as we watched the cake melt on our plates. Highly disappointed this time with Melting Pot.
Amazing food. Incredible service. We drove from Canada to come and we will visit again!
Good Service and wonderful presentation of food.
Absolutely wonderful staff and service from start to finish! Food is always amazing!
Good food, good service, good fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I booked online I said it was an anniversary and upon arrival .. my name was on the In house TV ! It felt very VIP walking in to that added touch! Our little secret “nook” table was sooo perfect for privacy and although I felt the server would forget about us so far into the maze of tables .. he was fantastic and beyond attentive ! Very informative on the menu and can’t say one negative thing about this dinner !! Thank you for making our romantic dinner sooo memorable!!
Excellent Food Experience Waiter,Alex, THE BEST!
Made my Sisters 70th birthday as special as she !
A wonderful ambience for a highly participatory experience. I like that the service includes unlimited "dippers" for the cheese and chocolate fondues. You will be more than satisfied with the volume of food. If you are up for a slower paced meal with friends and/or family, this is a great option. The wine selection was good as well. Certainly not a 'sports bar' if that's what you're looking for.
Just a lot of fun. We hadn't seen my sister in a while and wanted a fun night out
Been here many times and have usually had a great time. This time the service was slow but the server nice. Still had a great time and the food was amazing.
My husband and I had never been to the Melting Pot, but had heard many people speak highly of the place. So, my husband and i made reservations.
When we got there we were seated almost immediately.
The server explained the very limited menu choices. We both decide to order the four course meal.
Cheese fondue came with carrots, cauliflower and broccoli, stale bread, nacho chips and apples. It was okay.
Salad was probably the best part of the whole meal. Lovely raspberry vinaigrette with Gorgonzola and candied pecans.
Main course was 4 small pieces of chicken, 4 small pieces of prime rib and 4 large shrimp. You cook the main course at your table, which kinda defeats the purpose of going out if you were like us and didn’t feel like cooking. The amount of food was decent for me, but my husband was a bit disappointed.
We had the flaming turtle chocolate fondue which was served With strawberry slices, bananas, two small brownies, a few rice crispy treats, a couple of marshmallows. Again it was okay, but really nothing very exciting.
We ordered a bottle of moscato. Total for two was $150 with a tip. The service was okay and the food was boring. Left feeling as though we had eaten off a kids menu. We could have much better food at many other restaurants. We won’t be back to the Melting Pot.
Food was great, as always, but service was terrible. Took forever for waitress to return with the next course or drink refill.
It slowly got worse as night went on. Took 4 hours in total to have a big night out, 2.5 of which was time spent waiting for next course or drinks.
They did knock off $10 because of the wait.
We celebrated Valentine's Day here - Wonderful Time! I'd enjoyed fondue several times, but it was a first for my boyfriend. The food was delicious, the only complaint was the dippers were heavy on the bread but light on the veggies, and extra dippers were removed each course. We would have enjoyed them with the broth as well, vs the mushrooms and potatoes that were served. I would recommend you ask them to be left, as I'm sure they would.
Brittany was very helpful. She checked on us as much as she could. Made my first Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend great.
We had an outstanding valentine's date night. Our server Oz at the Buffalo Melting Pot was fun and knowledgeable and made the experience that much better. This style of dining enables the customer to get tastes of so many different items and you leave feeling full. Personally we split the 4-course Fondue Delight and it was superb! The sauces/toppings you get for the different items were so tasty, we loved the curry spread and the green goddess the best. With the delicious flavor of the seasoned broth fondue underneath the flavor of everything you cook, you get so much variety and it all compliments each other wonderfully. We will definitely be back!
Thanks again Oz!
We took advantage of the Valentine's Special and had an absolutely amazing experience. The ambience set the mood and our server Justin was beyond wonderful!! He made the experience even more enjoyable and even stopped to take a picture for us.
The service was great! Drinks were a bit pricey. Food was good as always.
As usual, the Buffalo location did not disappoint us! We had a blast and our reservation was perfect we received everything we asked for. Matt was great as our server and very excited to serve us!
Cheese and chocolate were great! The portions were small an boiling meat wasn’t great... service was great !
Although our online reservation got canceled for some odd reason, the staff were very friendly and accommodating .
We had a wonderful experience at the Melting Pot. It was delicious food, great service, and a wonderful experience all around!
Out waitress was very nice but she was new and overwhelmed. Drinks weren’t refilled, spoons for dips came close to the end of our main entree, and there were prolonged times of absence. Chocolate pots came out ice cold. WE turned the burners on to heat them up. We go there a fair amount and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had... very disappointed.
Came in to celebrate a birthday. Food was great, service was good, felt a bit rushed though. But overall great time!
Food was good as always.
It was very enjoyable to have the three course "Galentine's Day" menu. One of us had never gone for fondue before, and she really enjoyed her first fondue experience. The food is always good, and the service by the very personable Madison was wonderful.
The food tasted terrible and the waiter brought us our food and didn't come back to check on us. My husband ordered a long island ice tea and he brought him a mohito looking drink.. then he ordered another one and it was right but we still got charged for both. We had to get another waitress to find our server and she had no idea who he was. We would of had at least 4 more cocktails but we never got the chance to put a order in. Finally at the end my husband asked for a shot and he charged us 7 dollars.
The service and drink menu were lovely, however the value was not there. It was far too expensive for what we went for - a simple night out dessert. I would not go again simply for the prices - I would rather go elsewhere. The noise level is also high despite the dining rooms being separated.
Great place to experience and enjoy the fondue life style. We go at least 2 or 3 times a year and love the service and quality every time.
It was my birthday. Our waitress sat us in this cozy little private corner away from the noise. The waitress brought a card, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne on the house. She was so sweet and attentive, even the manager came over to wish me a happy birthday and take pictures for us. The food was amazing and perfect portions even though I ate way too much of the pretzel bread. It was the perfect night.
We visited the Melting Pot on a special price night. It was our second time there so we knew the routine. We had friends with us were there for the first time and it seemed a little rushed and they were slightly confused. Besides that, the food was great and we enjoyed our time there!
The food was great Candice our waitress was awsome very friendly and knowledgable . great time with freinds.
