Love this place, was not excited about half booth and table, though.
My party and I felt the menu and website were very confusing as to how a first time visitor could learn about the "process". Our server was excellent, but the cost and portion sizes are skimpy for just cheese, a few other ingredients for $12/pp. The four course offering takes 2.5 hrs apparently. I'm not into that "experience". I believe others are, but for a single mom with some hungry young adult children along... we can do this at home. I didn't anticipate the four course meal having much more on portion sizes, and with the length of time required to cook my own meal AND pay $50/pp, no thanks. The atmosphere was excellent and all employees were courteous.
Person that greeted us was not friendly. We were earlier than our reservation by 30 min. They made us wait the entire time even though there were 4-5 tables open. It was raining outside and nowhere to wait except the bar which is small and occupied. After we were seated, the fondue experience was great. Our waitress was nice and helpful. The food was very good and desert was awesome. We had the flaming bananas’ foster - which alone would bring me back. The 4 course meal is $50 each, with out “add-on” options and drinks. The value is worth it. Most important was that we had a great time and left happy.
we took our daughter here for her 14th birthday. While it is a novel experience to eat fondue and cook at your table, it is crazy expensive for what it is. To summarize, great for a one-off with the kids for a special occasion. That's it.
The service was great! Meats were very tender and high quality. The amount of food was great for people who don't eat much or those who are looking to cut back on the amount of food that they eat. I did not give a 5 star rating because of the cost. Dinner for 3 ended up being $230, but that included tip and 3 drinks. Not outrageous for fine dining but definitely not a good deal.

Went for our anniversary dinner and had the table covered with rose petals as well as a bottle of champagne chilling . Each course was wonderful and cooking in the pot was a great way to enjoy the meal . Couldn't have asked for better service from our waiter as be made it an enjoyable experience. Will definitely be going back.
The Seattle location is much better if there's any way you can go there. The open concept of the tables, with fabric panels mimicking walls, means that servers and managers basically pop out of thin air to grab plates and put things on your table so you never feel "safe," or I didn't. I was always waiting for the next person to pop out of thin air to startle me. Not a pleasant experience. I much prefer the all booths of Seattle (except the bar area). We requested a booth but were still put in a table despite there being many open booths throughout out entire meal on a weekday that wasn't terribly busy.
Our server was new and we did give her a lot of leeway because of that but we asked for more of things that never showed up, had to wait very long times for more water or soda, the manager had to step in to give us things she'd forgotten, stuff like that.
I was really disappointed that our entire table had to eat the same thing. That’s not what I expected at all and when we asked to move to a different table with two burners we were told no. If I wanted 4 people to eat the same thing I could have just stayed home and cooked. To spend over $200 on a meal and have half the people be disappointed was not how I expected to spend my birthday.
Also, the sign on our table said that kids eat free from 4-6 and we got there at 5:30 but our daughter’s meal was not free. Plus, they charged us for the $29.99 kids meal and not the $12 kids meal with out asking or getting clarification. So basically we paid $30 for 9 raviolis.
Overall it was a good meal. Nothing spectacular and we probably won’t go back. I can have fondue at home for a fraction of the cost if everyone has to eat the same thing anyway. I honestly would never have gone in the first place had I known that.

Manager was very pleasant! There was a misunderstanding with the host when she called me to confirm reservation, and manager was more than giving. My family enjoyed the presentation and was very appreciated. Will be coming back for another occasion!
We were celebrating Mother's Day with my 95 year old Mother-in-law. It would have been helpful to have had handicap parking near the restaurant or some indication of the ability to pull up in front of the restaurant due to my Mother-in-law having a disability. Once we were seated, we had the unfortunate experience of having a waitress who was not very friendly or engaging. When we asked questions about the food she was non-committal on answers and not very helpful. The pace of the service was too slow and when we needed something it would take quite some time to flag down our server and then to receive whatever was needed. The pace between courses was also very slow. The food was not as tasty as expected and the price for the meal was too expensive for the service and food. We would not recommend or return to this restaurant.
Our server was a bit slow bringing each serving. She forgot our meat extras. The desssert choc was cold.
Came her for our Anniversary. Arrived a little ahead of our reservation so began with cocktails in the bar area. Drinks were delicious and bartender was friendly! Moved to our dinner and although I requested a nice table for the occasion we got sat at a tiny booth with no view. Our server Jessica was AMAZING, although her first week serving, she handled everything like a pro and was super nice. She even swapped out our cheese course because the white wine was too strong for my husband. It was overall a nice time, but the filet mignon didn't seem as tender as in past dining experiences, the quality seemed more like New York to me. We wrapped up the meal by stuffing dessert in. The 4 course is a lot of food! Dessert was yummy and we were given two chocolate covered strawberries on the house for our anniversary. A nice touch!
Overall, the 4 course is nice for the rare special occasion, but Happy Hour is probably better for the frequent customer. Next year, we'll spend the $100 on Steak and Lobster tails at home.
Service was excellent. The sat us quick enough (we did make reservations), we went on a Friday night at 7 p.m.
Our server checked on us often enough and other people came by, including the manager, to see how things were going.
We told them we were celebrating a few things and they gave us a "congratulations" plate with dessert.
It's a fun experience, with some many options to modify the meal to make it what you want.
It's a really fun, awesome experience. I highly recommend it.

Loved the cheese, the vegetable polpettes and mushroom sachetti from the entree were also very good. Would love more vegetarian options for the entree though. Would also be nice if there was a more bitter dark chocolate option for dessert
Brought my girlfriend there to celebrate her birthday. The Melting Pot is one of her favorite restaurants. I have actually never dined there before. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The waitstaff was extremely helpful and courteous. The food was fresh and delicious. We will definitely dine there again.
Great place for special occasions. A bit too expensive for your everyday meal, but it's always a great experience. Highly recommended.
Great cheese & chocolate fondue, coconut flakes to chocolate was bomb! They also had gluten free options for all 4 courses. But, the main entree was ok.
If you are to go for 4 courses meal, make sure to go for seafood option. meats were okay, maybe a little disappointing, considering the fact that they are filet mignon and sirloin steak bites.
Server was nice but explanation he gave as if you were listening to fast-paced-kindle.
I'm not sure if the hall he was in charge of was too big for him to cover in timely manners, but we had to wait 10+ minutes until he informed that next meal is ready. And another 20+ to get served.

Our waitress was so busy an preoccupied we got left alone for most of the night.. really sad cause we traveled all the way from Alaska to go to this melting pot an our waitress was a let down.. we had to remind her of everything we needed..
Had a birthday dinner for my wife. We enjoy the Melting Pot in that it is a longer, less rushed meal where it is quiet enough to talk and you can enjoy the experience and the conversation. We had the 4 course meal, which allows each family member to choose their own salad and main course, which is nice. We debated the white chocolate and cherry dessert fondue but went with the old standby of milk chocolate. Never quite sure where to park in the garage east where it says parking for Melting Pot, and the construction going on around it required that I go a slightly different way than normal to get there. Very enjoyable dinner!
Our service was extremely slow in the beginning and the instructions as to how to order weren’t given to us very clearly, especially since we were all first timers to the restaurant. The chocolate fondue at the end was probably the highlight of the dining experience.

First time at the Melting Pot. I've attended private parties at friends home which would offer fondue. But this place takes it to a different level. There are many options. My family ordered the 4 course meal. We thought this would not be enough food. By the time dinner was coming to an end and it was dessert time, I was getting full. It was enough food. I can't wait to bring friends here.
Seattle Restaurant Week was a fantastic price point. We opted to order a cheese course and forego the dessert. Timothy was our server and was phenomenal, even though he had another table, and a large party in another room. We can't wait to go back!
Good food, nice variety...cooked to your liking since you cook yourself. Service was exceptional - Lillian was attentive but not overly-present, and they worked as a team.

All the staff were very friendly and wanted to make sure any questions we had about the food options and how we could mix and match different courses were answered. The cocktails, salad, and main courses (we had filet mignon, teriyaki steak, potstickers, chicken, and shrimp) were delicious. I did not particularly care for the beer in the appetizer cheese fondue, as it drowned out the cheese flavor. For the chocolate fondue dessert, they provided fruit, which is perfect, and other sweets (rice krispy treats, marshmallows, etc.) which were too sweet even for my sweet tooth. The server happily offered to bring more fruit instead, which was appreciated.

The service was outstanding. The food was good however the vegetables looked old, brown and tasted bitter. Well worth the money though. You get a large amount of food.

We were excited to try out the Seattle Eats week specialty menu but as we made our way through the three courses, we felt like for the price, the portioning was much too small.
Our pot was not hot enough so the meat was undercooked. Than we had to wait forever for new plates after raw meet touched it. Tried to re-cook meat once they fixed pot and it was too over cooked. Took 2 hours to get through 2 courses. Really over priced.
