The food is ample and good but with a large party it gets a little confusing as you cook for different times with different combinations of batter, sauces, etc. Fun for a night but not for a regular return.

Melting Pot has a nice ambiance and you are definitely paying for the experience of dining 'fondue style'. That is the only way I can justify the high cost of the menu items.
For three of us, we shared a Cheese Fondue, bottle of wine ($40), one entree, and dessert Fondue and it cost over $140. It would've been more but the waiter forgot my son's drink and didn't charge us for it, once we reminded him. Keep in mind that you are cooking your entree (meat and vegetables) in small chunks in your fondue pot too. We all agreed that we enjoyed the experience but would not come again because it was overpriced. Entrees are at least $22 and up to be cooked in your fondue pot and comes with a variety of condiments to offset any over/under cooking.

Worst service ever. I went to the one in Portland with very good experience and looking for the same this time. However, this time it's a totally opposite experience and I will never come back to this location anymore.

The Melting Pot was a FANTASTIC dinner option. We went for a birthday and the staff really took extra care of us. The food was fantastic, the waiter was amazing and we will definitely be going back. The price is absolutely worth what you get at the Melting Pot. This was the most fun that we have ever had at a restaurant and we will go again for any fun occasion. Be prepared to relax and enjoy a nice meal

My husband and I love the romantic atmosphere of The Melting Pot. The servers are always polite and quick to get you any additions you might ask for. The cheedar cheese fondue is excellent, if a bit on the small side. In fact that is my only gripe about the place. The portion size is tiny. We ended up ordering what amounted to two main courses each. A great place, if you are willing to pay to fill up.

If you're looking for something different, then The Melting Pot is a fun place to go because of the fondue approach to the meal. Also, the communal cooking brings a group together that might otherwise struggle for conversation.

As for the food, it was all right but not outstanding. The restaurant recommends a cheese fondue starter, an entree (which comes with salad), and the chocolate fondue dessert. But that's way too much food. The cheese fondue fills you up as it is. The meats were satisfactory, but when I order filet mignon I expect it to knock me out of my seat, and this didn't. The best part of the meal was the dark chocolate fondue dessert with marshmallows, pound cake, rice krispie treats, and other goodies.

Great Fondue, although we got more items to dip into the cheese than there was enough cheese for, then for dessert it was the other way around, too much choclate for the items to be dipped into it!! We do love fondue, so it was not a total loss, Too Expensive!!

My wife loves this place, and our server was very good. The downside is that the portion sizes seem to get smaller every year, and if you are a taller person be prepared to get a steam facial from time to time thanks to the melting pots on the table.

The ala carte dinners were OK to good. The cooking broth was not very interesting or flavorful. And the dipping sauces are just OK. Really liked the curry and the sweet chile(?) sauces, but the others were so so.... The dessert fondues are fabulously delicious. But if you like/love chocolate, then how could you go wrong!? Also, provided our daughter (who was celebrating a birthday) with a nice little chocolate covered treat! Thank you for the nice touch Melting Pot!

I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday and it was our first time dining at The Melting Pot. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. I made reservations for 4pm when they opened and we didn't leave until nearly 7pm. We started off with a cheese fondue, entrees, and finally dessert. The waitress was friendly and helpful, however the wait time was slow when it came to bringing us the next course. The food was really good and very filling. The best part of course was the chocolate fondue - we ordered the small portion and it was more than enough for us. It is on the pricey side, so it's not a place I would dine at often, but I would come back again in the future for another special occasion.

The waiters were helpful with suggestions, and the food was excellent. Since you have to wait for the food to cook in the fondue pot, do not select this restaurant when you are in a hurry. However, it's a great place to choose when you have at least 2 hours and want to chat with your friends. Also, never, ever skip the cheese or the dessert courses. They are the best part!

I've been to the Bellevue Melting Pot several times and have always had a great experience. This time though it was far from good. The atmosphere was lacking, the food wasn't as good as normal, our drinks were terrible and our waitress had no enthusiasm and acted like she was put out to have to take care of us. You'd think for a $163.00 dinner for 2, everything would be stellar. We won't be returning.

The food was great, but I think that the server kept forgetting about us. First he forgot about our drinks and then he never really checked on us and when we where ready for the next round it took him awhile to come back. This was our first time here too and I had told him that at the beginning so he could explain to us how this works.

While the food was good I don’t think I will be back any time soon. I just wasn’t wowed. I best part of the meal was the desert fondue, when we got the drippings plate I was bummed to find we did not get the Rice Crispi’s like advertised in the menu.

My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect! We loved the food, the wine pairings, and the ambiance which was quiet and romantic. The server was informative, helpful, and all of his assistance was well-timed so as not to interfere with our conversations. So thoughtful! We had a wonderful time and left with smiles on our faces!!

Expected a bit more for the price. Salad options were really kind of strange (sweetened pine nuts on Caesar salad, shredded cheddar cheese on the house salad - which is odd after all the cheese in the fondue). Not thrilled with the sauce options either. None of them were particularly special. Didn't think any of them paired with the shrimp very well. It's kind of a fun/novel place, but I don't think we will be returning...not a great value when you realize it's low margin food that you cook yourself.

The Melting Pot is definitely my favorite place to dine! I took my 11-year-old daughter for Easter Brunch, this was her first experience there. She loved it, of course! The food was prepared beautifully, the waiter was friendly, we were attended to only when necessary and we left pleasantly full after 2 1/2 hours. I loved every bite!
