Not enough reasonably priced choices for two people.
Took us over an hour to get our meal, server was very rude and argued with me which is why we left mid-meal. Table next to us was helped by our server 4-5 times before seeing us once. Manger offered to pay for our meal which was a nice offer but not worth the poor service we received
We only received 3 Pieces of Broccoli
And 4 pieces of Cauliflower
7 pieces of apple
All the rest was bread
Where are the Vegetables?
We ran out of fondue and left the majority of the Bread
Because the Bread was Soggy.
Daughter invited four of her friends for birthday celebration. Had a great time. Server took excellent care of everything. One of the girls has already planned her birthday party (in two weeks) at the same place. They had a wonderful time.
We loved our table location. Our server was so nice, knowledgeable, and very efficient. She made our dining experience very pleasant. We will be back and hopefully we will be lucky enough to have her as our server again.
Great meal with lots of variety so that everyone can find something they love. It was so fun to do something different for a dining experience and even our pickiest eater had an easy time finding food choices they loved.
The service was quick and fun. They had no problem answering our rookie fondue questions and took great care of our entire meal.
Excellent food as usual. Service was good but there was a long pause while waiting for chocolate to come out.
This is a go to place for a birthday celebration with one or two couples. It is relaxing and lots of time for conversation as we cook our meals!! Grateful it is offered on Groupon!
The experience was good, would of been great if our server was more attentive to us.
Amazing service & incredible food. Can’t wait to go back.
Always so amazing!! Will definitely be returning again soon!!
It was awesome.
Our server was absolutely wonderful & attentive. The food was great, too!
Melting pot used to be a special experience with outstanding service. Not tonight. Disappointing.
We had fun conversational banter with the outstanding server, Ty. The food portions were just right. Unique restaurant when you've been going to the same places in Bellevue.
Overall, the experience was good. Our server sighed audibly at times when looking at receipts once diners had left. The biggest problem was that I did not like the duck that was brought. The server offered to bring a replacement for no charge. When a different employee came to take the plates, she encouraged me to cook and keep the duck, rather than wasting it. I agreed, but the other server sighed audibly when she saw that I cooked it. She brought me a huge box to fit in 4 small pieces of duck and charged me for the sausage. It’s not that big of a deal, but I did not plan on taking the duck. Rather than asking, it seemed like she jumped to conclusions at the detriment of customer service.
I hadn’t been to the Melting Pot in a while, so when I saw a great Groupon deal, I jumped at the opportunity. We had wonderful service and the food was fantastic!
Our server and bartender made our night! Best staff we’ve had yet!
We enjoyed the food. The service was not as good as it should have been. The waiter forgot to get us our drinks.
Birthday for a a Granddaughter! Had a very fun time!
This was our first time going in the afternoon instead of night. It was definitely better as far noise level. Nice staff :)
Food was incredible but the server was sarcastic and rude
FANTASTIC experience!! Our server, Jenae was so friendly and helpful and explained to us things we had no idea about before even though we have been several times. She checked in with us often but was not a bother to us. We came here for our anniversary and could not have had a better experience! LOVE Melting Pot Bellevue!! Favourite date night spot.
A bit expensive, considering you're getting the staples: bread, veggies, and steak you cook yourself.
What kept the service and staff from getting a very good rating overall (at the Bellevue location) is that when we arrived we were turned away and told they were full until 9am with reservations. We were a walk in. We walked to our car and went online to your website to see if any other locations had a table available for reservation, and found 3 reservation times available, at the Bellevue location, within an hour from the current time??? I made a reservation and 5 minutes later we walked right in and were sat. VERY frustrating. I did speak with a manager to rely my frustrations. She was very nice and did her best to try and make it up to us. It was still a very enjoyable experience, and we would go back, but it was a frustrating start, for sure.
Fun evening and yummy food. We thoroughly enjoy the fondue experience.
It was different but will try again.
You pay premium pricing for a lame experience. The quality of the food was poor, the taste is overwhelming, not in a good way and the service wasn't great. We had reservations and it still took us 15 minutes to be seated. The staff is just a bunch of highschool kids which isn't a big deal but when you're paying $100 plus per person you expect more. It was my first time here and I thought it would be more like a fine dining experience. The bill for two people with one drink each and dessert came out to over $200. You cook your own food in broth and dip it in cheese. I get it, it's part of the experience. But what I don't understand is why you would pay more to make your own food. The cooking times provided on the menu cause the meat to overcook and become tough. Its just a lame experience be overall. You're going to leave stinking like the place so don't plan on going anywhere after as well. Just feels like a place that should maybe charge $40-$50 a person. What you're getting for fine dining prices just isn't anywhere near worth it.
Great experience, and nice environment. Little bit pricey for a meal like this, I’d rather get some Chinese hotpot.
The food was very good. Offered a variety of options on the menu that were all good to Foundue. The server was excellent. It was a little pricey, but worth it.
$220 for four people over price and 3% service charge on top of the bill.
It was soso, restaurant week didn't offer cheese fondue which is kind of the point of melting pot. I ended up spending way more than i should've because of that. Service was good and the cheese fondue, dipping sauces, and chocolate fondue was good. Dont recommend the red wine base, 00000 flavor
Harry Potter Halloween Fun!
No clear sign where their free parking garage was as there is another next to it so we had to pay for parking as they wouldn’t validate. Also, the menu was very pricey for the amount of food you get since you’re sharing 2 of the fondues with your whole table.
The Melting Pot is a great way to relax and enjoy time with friends. Reservations are recommended. They have an odd 2 hours of being closed between lunch and dinner. They don't seem able to seat you on time or early, so plan time at the bar waiting. T
Food was great, server was not detail since the reservation was for birthday but she didn’t ask what bought us out for dinner
This was our first time to your restaurant. The lighting was turned down to the point halfway through our meal that we could barely see our plates. Also the main dish was very light, hardly any food was given. Not worth what we paid (well over 200$ meal) left hungry.
Food was ok. Service was exceptional. Glad we had a Groupon for the price. Yikes!
They now have gluten free/ dairy free food. I have avoided them for years. Now I can't wait to go back.
Came for our anniversary and our server helped us celebrate in a perfect way. The night started out a little iffy but the sweet stuff came at the end! Our server made sure we felt special on our special night and brought our 2 giant chocolate dipped strawberries with a cute drawing made from chocolate. This restaurant holds a special place in our stomachs because we only come for special occasions and each time is made special by our servers!
