Situated in the hub of Downtown Bellevue, The Melting Pot provides a casually elegant, intimate atmosphere. The relaxing 4 course experience begins with cheese fondue prepared tableside. Fresh salad follows while your entrée pot heats up. You’ll simmer a variety of tantalizing meats, seafood, & vegetables. Each morsel is hot, fresh, & flavorful. Entrees are accompanied by an array of dipping sauces to add to the fun. Your choice of chocolate fondue is the grand finale, served with a variety of delicious dippers. Many have stopped by to satisfy that fondue craving after a movie at Lincoln Center, a day of shopping at Bellevue Square or The Bravern, or a family outing at the park.

We feature an extensive wine list, fresh trendy cocktails, & specialty martinis.

It’s the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, overdue date night, family night, or a group gathering!

Had a birthday dinner for my wife. We enjoy the Melting Pot in that it is a longer, less rushed meal where it is quiet enough to talk and you can enjoy the experience and the conversation. We had the 4 course meal, which allows each family member to choose their own salad and main course, which is nice. We debated the white chocolate and cherry dessert fondue but went with the old standby of milk chocolate. Never quite sure where to park in the garage east where it says parking for Melting Pot, and the construction going on around it required that I go a slightly different way than normal to get there. Very enjoyable dinner!

Our service was extremely slow in the beginning and the instructions as to how to order weren’t given to us very clearly, especially since we were all first timers to the restaurant. The chocolate fondue at the end was probably the highlight of the dining experience.

First time at the Melting Pot. I've attended private parties at friends home which would offer fondue. But this place takes it to a different level. There are many options. My family ordered the 4 course meal. We thought this would not be enough food. By the time dinner was coming to an end and it was dessert time, I was getting full. It was enough food. I can't wait to bring friends here.

Seattle Restaurant Week was a fantastic price point. We opted to order a cheese course and forego the dessert. Timothy was our server and was phenomenal, even though he had another table, and a large party in another room. We can't wait to go back!

Good food, nice variety...cooked to your liking since you cook yourself. Service was exceptional - Lillian was attentive but not overly-present, and they worked as a team.

All the staff were very friendly and wanted to make sure any questions we had about the food options and how we could mix and match different courses were answered. The cocktails, salad, and main courses (we had filet mignon, teriyaki steak, potstickers, chicken, and shrimp) were delicious. I did not particularly care for the beer in the appetizer cheese fondue, as it drowned out the cheese flavor. For the chocolate fondue dessert, they provided fruit, which is perfect, and other sweets (rice krispy treats, marshmallows, etc.) which were too sweet even for my sweet tooth. The server happily offered to bring more fruit instead, which was appreciated.

We were excited to try out the Seattle Eats week specialty menu but as we made our way through the three courses, we felt like for the price, the portioning was much too small.

Our pot was not hot enough so the meat was undercooked. Than we had to wait forever for new plates after raw meet touched it. Tried to re-cook meat once they fixed pot and it was too over cooked. Took 2 hours to get through 2 courses. Really over priced.

Went there for Easter dinner ; they had a menu options for “ endless entree “ ... approx $40 - not only the initial fondue experience was 3oz of shredded cheese ( enough for 4-5 single veggie scoops ) but the endless entree ( meats of course ) kept taking over 20-30 mins. And by the time we ordered our second entree it had been almost 1 hrs. - it wasn’t busy , I’m sure everyone had worked a double and probably tired which it wasn’t the staff fault but management - long story short. I paid $100 for broth cooked meat and 3oz of cheese. We even asked to order and pay for more cheese but apparently it had been stowed away - FYI melting pot. People like melted cheese and melted chocolate - not broth cooked meat.

Two of us arrived as first customers of the evening, along with a couple with a toddler. We were seated against the wall in a booth. The other couple was part of a group of 6 with a toddler in a high chair - who was seated directly across from us, even though the restaurant was empty. We asked to be moved to a quieter location and was told all the tables were reserved so we could really move. They said this loudly so the other table hear it all. It embarrassed us. They came back again and said they could probably move us, but it would be in the seat behind them. Again, very embarrassed.
Food was sprinkled with spices, but it washed off in the cooking pot. You couldn't tell from taste if you were eating Filet Mignon or pork. The "butter" for the lobster was oily and full of green specks, but no buttery flavor.
This all ruined the meal and spoiled the entire night for me, while trying to celebrate my birthday. Not worth the price, and not worth bothering with the "friendly" staff who had no clue about making a customer happy.

We had a reservation for 7:15 and I was really busy when we arrived. We watched every party get seated and we sat there for another 15 minutes in the lobby by ourselves. We were there for my son’s 11th birthday and he was hungry and getting restless waiting. I finally asked when our table would be ready after not being acknowledged at all. Hey said it would be soon. The food was amazing and it was great after being seated. The manager came and offered an extra dessert plate since we waited for so long. It was a great night, it was just a bummer that we waited for so long.

Melting Pot is our daughter's favorite place to celebrate her birthdays. She just turned 9 and we had a blast eating fondue style. We ordered two adult 3-course menus and it fed a family of four! Lots of food for everyone and we couldn't finish the desserts.

We have gone to this restaurant for dinner before and always enjoyed ourselves. This time we went for lunch. When we got to the chocolate course, I let the server know that we only like the fruit and the cheesecake bites. She brought the plate of fruit and brought us an "upgrade cheesecake" plate. That was not what we were wanting, but told her we would pay for the upgrade anyway. Halfway through the chocolate, I asked the server for more bananas. She then informed me that it would cost me to get another plate. When you get the chocolate course you usually get two plates of items to dip - 1 fruit and 1 dessert items that all come included. We got 1 plate of fruit and I wasn't asking for another entire plate (though in my opinion if someone is only asking for half of what comes with an item, giving extra shouldn't be an upcharge) Bananas are literally a few cents each. So we did not get to finish half of the chocolate which was incredibly disappointing.
To their credit, the manager did credit us the cheesecake plate (that was a miscommunication) so I am giving 2 stars instead of 1, but we will not come back for lunch again.

The food, as always was delicious. We had both a cheese fondue and a chocolate fondue. The atmosphere and ambiance is always great. We go here at least a couple of times a year and have never been disappointed, which is why the poor service we received on Saturday will probably not stop us from going again. We hope that the poor service we received was just an isolated incident. First, we had a reservation for 8:45. We didn't get in around 9, which isn't too big of a deal, but we do get babysitters, so we're on the clock and 15 minutes does make a difference! Second, we specifically told the server a couple of times that we only wanted one order of cheese fondue to share, since we had already eaten a hearty meal (but I can't go to Melting Pot without my cheese fondue!). She assured us we were just getting one serving, but when she brought the check, she said, "I actually charged you for two." No apologies, nothing. We understand mistakes happen, but an "I'm sorry," actually goes a really long way, especially when we're paying an extra $12 for cheese we didn't end up finishing.

I took my daughter to the Melting Pot for her birthday because we have celebrated there before and enjoyed it. She received a card, but in the past she was given extra food with the dessert course. That did not happen this time. It seemed like the amount of food for the dessert course was smaller than last time. We still enjoyed ourselves and the service was excellent.

I have been a long time patron of the Melting pot. I usually visit the Seattle location so Bellevue was new for me.
First of all I reserved a table about 5 days ahead of time and requested a double burner. when I got a call to confirm my reservation I was informed that they do not look at notes on the requests online until the day of and they had already given the double burner tables away. My issue was that a member of our party had allergies and it made it harder for all of us to agree to food. Why allow special request on reservations if the restaurant doesn't check them.. Secondly the waitress spilled red salad dressing all over 2 of the guests and in return we were given a free drink.. a free drink was not enough to cover their expenses. We let it go because by this time we were just wanting to eat.. Then lastly our bill was brought to the table and the bill was wrong. I was charged for all the drinks from the other couple we were with. At this point we just paid and walked out. I usually mention this right away however there were so many issues that we just decided to leave and never return. I just hope that someone sees this and addresses it.. I love the Melting pot but after my last visit I will no be returning to the Bellevue location

I have been to a Melting Pot before, however I found the Bellevue Melting Pot to not be as worth the money. It was loud and the service wasn't that great. The atmosphere was weird almost felt like a sports bar. Our server was awkward and didn't explain the process to us or provide that top notch service that I was expecting. It was not only our server, but many of the servers here. They were going in and out of the kitchen door loudly, almost hitting a few guests. The bartender was not eager to see us or engage in conversation, and I was just overall disappointed. As always, the food was great, but a major part of coming to a melting pot is the service, and that just wasn't there for me.

This is a fun activity for group or family. It’s expensive for the food provided, so the event of the novelty of fondue is the reason to go. Service was poor—as it often is in places that are trying to rotate tables quickly with formulaic menus. Inconsiderate, rude hostesses letting people stand around without a greeting and many many tables open. Waiter who missed bringing every glass for wine flight on time. Last glass came with check! Still charged full price. And so on. So come for the fun of fondue not for great or even decent service.

The Melting Pot used to be our favorite restaurant but it's been declining year over year. The portions are getting smaller and smaller. Used to be that we left feeling stuffed and happy. Now, we leave unsatisfied. It's way overpriced considering the food isn't even cooked! I just don't understand why it's so expensive and they just keep reducing portion sizes. Very disappointed. And our server just didn't seem all that interested in being there that night.

The Melting Pot never disappoints, and this time was no exception. They did a great job of "dressing up" the space to make it feel special for Valentines Day. I loved the red carpet and rope & stanchions at the entrance. Our server was "new", but did a fantastic job and was very careful regarding our food allergies (gluten). Food was terrific and, as always, more than we could eat. Great place, great food, great time.

The food was delicious, but the surcharge was unexpected and unacceptable. The policy of charging a "Living Wage" or "Minimum Wage" surcharge is becoming increasingly common in the area, but it is by no means welcome. Several restaurants have been called out for such practices and, as a result, have discontinued it, opting instead to raise the prices of their menu items, as a business understandably must do when wages are to be increased for employees. Having a separate surcharge as a result of a vote to increase minimum wage acts as a political statement by the restaurant, a statement that comes off as the establishment openly rejecting the community's decision that workers should be paid a more competitive rate, as the market dictates. Shoving this view onto the customer in the form of a surprising surcharge can then understandably be seen by the customer as a political maneuver, and one that is not welcome for many a restaurant goer. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to Melting Pot in Bellevue, WA until this surcharge has been removed from their menu. I will happily pay a little bit more for menu items as a reasonable alternative, but this practices has left a bad taste in my mouth for your restaurant.
