I was apprehensive making a reservation here as I didn't think my husband would enjoy the fondue type of dining. To my surprise he actually enjoyed the experience and the food was very good!
Fun evening with delicious food, especially the chocolate fondue!
Our waiter was awesome and the kids had a great time
Second visit. Great experience!
Waiter (Johnsey?) from NY was exceptional!
My son, his girlfriend and myself had a wonderful evening at the Melting Pot. Our waiter, Sean, was very friendly and fun. Our meal was excellent and came out in a timely manner. Our drinks were refilled continuously and dirty dishes taken away immediately. Couldn't have asked for a better evening.
They also put us in a private room with a glass door which was so much fun!
We had a great night, and our waitress was amazing.
Usually girls night events are loud and crowded. Friday night was unusually quiet but it was nice! We sat on the other side of the restaurant, where I haven't had a table yet and it was very enjoyable. Our server, Vinnie, was AMAZING! Such a nice guy & very accommodating. Overall great experience!
Food was wonderful! Service is hit or miss depending on your waiter/waitress
This was a great space for our new team to meet over a meal and get to know each other. The meal took about three hours and it was well worth the time!
We went to the Melting Pot for my daughter's 18th Birthday celebration. She chose it. We had been there before and she loved it then and wanted to do it again. For about $250, 5 of us had a four course meal. If you like mushrooms, DO NOT skip the mushroom sachetti (I think I have spelled it wrong) but GET IT! It is fabulous!!!!!! The other thing that you must not miss is the original chocolate peanut butter dessert fondue. If you are allergic to peanuts, however, then you will be equally pleased with the Banana Foster. Both are heavenly! Come ready to be active though... the food comes uncooked and you have to cook it yourself in your choice of flavored broths. It helps to bring like minded people because you will have to agree and share. The table behind us, for example had a mix of vegetarians, vegans, and meat eaters and they struggled (out loud) with what to order. Each table has a limited amount of burners on it. Older kids are quite safe, but I would be cautious if I had an "active hands everywhere" toddler. The heating elements are right in the center of the tables and are quite hot.
Bottom line, try it you won't be able to help but like it!
We celebrated our daughters birthday here, on a Sunday afternoon. There were only 4 tables occupied. The food was great. Our server forgot about us though. He hardly ever came around. Drink glasses were empty, plates weren't cleared, and he forgot to bring another stick, said he'd be right back - never came. I shared mine with my husband. Truly not impressed with the service. Was a disappointment.
This restaurant is perfect for taking that special lady out to dinner
Had a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Sal, was absolutely wonderful! He explained everything so it made ordering very easy.
We love the melting pot!! Try to go at least 5 times out of the year. Great to go with our kids they always have a great time.
I loved this type of dining experience, I'm totally coming back in the future!
My wife and I wanted to go just to have dessert and that was not a problem. Our waiter Shawn was very nice and knowledgeable. He made sure we had a great experience.
We had dinner at the melting pot and asked for a private room. It was very nice. The service was excellent. The Brie apples were great. The server brought us extra apples. The server made suggestions. I could not eat shrimp and we were able to swap that out. All in all a lovely evening.
I was trying to plan a romantic dinner out with my wife and The Melting Pot was the perfect place. We had a cozy private room that made my wife first experience of The Melting Pot a memorable one. Daniel our server was amazingly helpful. My wife had "the girls night out" and I had the Angus. My overall experience was excellent and would recommend this place.
This was my third time coming here and as always had a wonderful time!!
Great place for a special treat. I took my sister for her 80th birthday, and she loved every minute of it. Pricy--but it stands out as memorable. Great, lasting memory...
Took my family there for lunch to celebrate my birthday. I always enjoy myself when I go
The atmosphere was nice and service was great. However, this place is more about the dining experience than actual quality of food. The broth that was recommended for our main entree was not very flavorful. Which made eating my steak entree quite difficult because there wasnt any flavor for the steaks to absorb nor were the steaks properly seasoned. We were given an assortment of sauces to eat with our entrees but the sauces did not compliment the steak entree very well. I ended up only eating 2 pieces of steak from my dish. I then asked for a takeout box but was told that I had to cook the steaks in the broth before I could take it home which was odd. The dessert on the other hand was quite nice. Overall, I wouldn't recommend coming here for the four course meal.
Our waiter Sal was completely knowledgable on every single item on the menu. Walked us through everything from taste, to personal suggestions, to cooking styles, tips and tricks. The manager Mitchell, catered to every need and went above and beyond to make sure everything was exceptional. The experience was so great that we were there for 4 whole hours! I'd definitely return many times in hopes that we have these two for service again.
The food is great at the melting pot and everyone should try it at least once. Unfortunately the service was absolutely terrible when we went on our date. I left feedback with the restaurant, but they haven't got back to me yet.
The food is always fantastic and the service too. Will be going back again and again.
It's a great spot but the price for cheese salad and chocolate came out to 52 bucks... seriously?!
Very nice place for a unique meal, very tasty, atmosphere is very quiet.Shawn was our waiter and he made the night fun (great personality).
"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. We have dined here for the past 5 years for restaurant week and to celebrate my son's birthday. I must say I was disappointed this year. The serving size for the restaurant week menu was very small. Food was great!
Great server Alex. Good food great restaurant week stop!!
Party of 2 for lunch during AC Restaurant Week. We were given a booth with sliding door, so we did not see much of the rest of restaurant. For the $15.17 special price, it was fine. Looking at the menu with regular per person a'la carte prices, I can't see myself spending that kind of money for a return trip.
The food was pretty good. The service was horrible. The waiter appeared friendly, but was extremely slow to accommodate my needs. It took an extremely long time for him to take our order for each section. It was not busy in there. I called the manager over several times for request because my waiter continued to disappear the entire night.
Went during Restaurant Week--our server Blake was amazing. Not crazy about the entree and cooking food in the broth--would skip this on my next visit. I thought the cheese (Brie with Bacon) as well as the chocolate course (Bananas Foster) were amazing and very tasty! Bar menu quite good and service attentive but not overbearing.
we used restaurant week gift cards and the portions was laughable. I did not think it was worth the use of the gift card. we also waited too long in between courses considering we barely had an entree. food was good though. it was an experience. I may go back as a regular paying customer since they may not have thought a 35 dollar gift card per person was adequate enough.
It's a shame that the hostess ruined our experience. We come here every year and make a reservation during restaurant week since it always falls on my birthday. However this time around, I do not believe we will be continuing our tradition because of the hostess/seating arrangements. We had a 3:30 reservation, waited around for a half hour, and then asked the hostess for an update when we would be sat. She said in 20-ish minutes we should be sat. So we took a seat at the bar and ordered a bottle of wine. My mom stayed on the siting area so she could listen for our names be called. In the meantime, my sister who had a 1:00 reservation came over to us and I was surprised she was still there since it was 4 and she was only a party of 2. She said they had waited forever and we asked the hostess how much longer, the hostess said she already sat her party. So her reservation was hijacked. She was livid. And we were surprised that had happened. As soon as my sister left, my mom went up to the hostess to see how much longer since a half hour had passed since we last asked. She said that my party had already sat. So now our reservation was stolen! I do not understand how it happened to both of our parties in the same day. It really put us in an aggravated mood especially since we had a reservation there should be no excuse on having to wait over an hour. However our server, Steve, was excellent.
Bad service. Been there a few times but the server was inattentive and inconsistent.
Good was great and the service was great when she was at the table. We asked three separate people for water and it look 20 minutes to get. She was infrequently checking on us. I put on the reservation that it was my husband's birthday and they didn't take that into consideration. They ran out of chocolate cake so he got rice crispies with chocolate syrup on it. Overall we weren't impressed for spending $130.
The Quattro formaggio cheese fondue was excellent! Our party of 4 all did the 4 course meal. Service by our waitress Sophia, was great!
It was awful. It was empty and we waited 15 minutes after our reservation to be seated. They seated us in a small dark corner and I asked to be moved, so they moved us to a booth. The bread was horrible, hard, raw broccoli, cauliflower, and raw carrots with cheese? The apples were fine. Then the Caprese salad came with NO BASIL and it was tasteless. The pasta of the day, butternut squash RAVIOLI, and vegetables were the main course. THERE WAS NO RAVIOLI AT ALL!! The vegetables were inedible, giant chunks of uncut potatoes, portabello mushrooms, large asparagus, and canned artichoke hearts. You were supposed to cook all of these in a pot of chicken broth for 2 minutes??!! The sauces were also horrible and almost tasteless. When I politely complained to the waiter and manager about the lack of basil and ravioli they agreed but NOTHING was taken off my bill!!! I will never ever go back to that gross restaurant. Very weird and eerie atmosphere. A major light was out overhead. I will say the dessert was the only good part. 70.00 later I am appalled and disgusted at the tasteless food!!!
Took my sister and friend out for girls night. The food was amazing. The chocolate was my favorite part, but I also really enjoyed the teriyaki steak.
Blake was a great server!!! we had so much fun coming here for dinner and will 100% be back !!
