The team at the restaurant did a fabulous job! Prom was cancelled at the last minute and our high school seniors were so sad. A long, fun dinner at the Melting Pot did lifted their spirits and made them feel special. Thanks so much.
The only negative part was the valet. The food and the service was beyond belief and highly amazing.
10/10 would reccomend the swiss cheese
This Was a birthday celebration for my daughter’s 30th birthday the food was great only thing is it took five hours for our party to get through the complete four course meal I know we had a large party of 16 but it would’ve been helpful if our waitress could’ve had at least one other person to assist her maybe that could’ve cut our time down a little bit other than that overall we enjoyed the meal and the experience
Took forever to get food. We were there for 3 hours and only got the cheese and meat portion. Both food and service was extremely slow. Very dissatisfied!
Everything was just great. My only complaint is that they forgot to give us our chocolate covered strawberries.
We planned on a special evening to celebrate Valentine’s Day and got three phone calls confirming our reservation. Never during the three confirmations did they ever tell us or remind us it was a pre-fixed meal, double what we usually pay and with significantly less options. Specifically, for people with dietary restrictions, it would have been nice to be notified. When we got there, we immediately realized it was a prefixed meal, we asked the server if there were vegetarian/pescatarian options available for my girlfriend since she keeps Kosher and does not eat meat or shellfish. Our waitress made it clear that she could not offer us a simple substitution and give her a plate of salmon, so at that point, we considered leaving since she could not eat anything there. It was only after we spoke with a manager that they said we could have salmon, but could not have anything else from the regular menu offerings. Additionally, the prefixed menu was significantly more expensive than the regularly priced menu items and even with a simple plate of salmon, we were still charged the much higher price. This whole process took so long that we had to rush through our entire meal and were unable to enjoy our chocolate dessert for our romantic dinner because we had to get to our show, even though we had planned for a long meal regardless. We have loved coming to the melting pot in the past, but this will make us rethink celebrating any special occasions at the restaurant.
Took my girlfriend here for Valentine's. We had a 430p reservation. The valet was on point and cost $5 + gratuity. We were greeted by the host and seated almost immediately in a comfortable booth. Brandon, our waiter, was very knowledgeable about the menu, which consisted of 5 courses. The food was delicious and the plate presentation was wonderful. We spent about 2 hours enjoying our meal and never felt rushed. Thank you Brandon for an awesome dining experience!
Awesome great excellent
Our server was fabulous. He was helpful and polite and made our experience just wonderful. It was my daughter’s 17th birthday and our server brought her a sweet treat for dessert.
Had dinner here (6pm reservation) prior to show at Fox. Seated promptly. Let our server know that we had 7:30 tickets. She facilitated the meal so that we (barely) made it. Food was delicious and we enjoy the fondue experience. We were a bit rushed but will allow longer for meal next time. Overall a really fun meal experience.
Great food and great service as always!!
I enjoyed my Birthday celebration and the Ballons, flowers and chocolates were a special touch! Excellent restaurant to celebrate any special occasion!
We were a group of 7. Everyone enjoyed it. I appreciated the oil free cooking options. It was a great time.
I had to give props to my server Chris ! Knew the menu to the fullest , wasn’t upset about all our questions , and continued to give us the best service . Honestly the best dining experience I ever had
Great service and experience.
It was great. It was my wife's first time trying fondue and she really enjoyed it.
Six of us went in January for my step daughter’s birthday. It was amazing the server I wish o remember his name was amazing! Especially because we have never been there before! He explained everything perfectly. We’ll definitely be back!
Ford was excellent... And the service was even better! Nice that there have many options to choose from for everyone.
Our table was right by a corner where everyone said "corner" as they approached the corner. While I understand the need for safety, it didn't do much for our enjoyment of our meal. Perhaps a mirror would eliminate the need?
Perfect spot for a date! Amazing service
Considering the fact that they are using standard (not special) cheese, prices are a bit high! There was nothing special about their cheese fondue. Only chocolate fondue satisfied us in our meal.
The Melting Pot offers a unique dining experience. With the ability to sample small preparations that you cook at your table. Our server Chris was outstanding in offering insights to help us with our selections of cheese, entree, cooking style, and dessert. He was exceptionally attentive but never felt overbearing. All things considered it was a wonderful evening.
I was a little disappointed in the experience. I have fond memories of going to the Melting Pot for special occasions and this just didn’t live up to my expectations. To start, our table was sticky when we sat down. We chose the build-your-own 4 course. We started with the alpine cheese. I was extremely disappointed to watch our waitress squeeze a lemon into our cheese and let all of the lemon seeds into the pot. I didn’t say anything because I figured she would fish them out.. however she didn’t and we found 3 lemon seeds while eating the first course. The salad and entree were fine, we were able to get refills of sauces etc. Our table was a bit of a mess after the entree but it wasn’t cleaned off for us before the chocolate course came out. Also, even though we chose the 4 course experience, we were still charged an extra $20 for the chocolate? That was a little confusing because I thought the 4 courses were the cheese, salad, entree, and chocolate.. I will say they gave us a plate with a few chocolate covered strawberry halves and a small pound cake with a candle which was very nice. Overall, I don’t think we’ll be back, this experience just isn’t worth the price.
The food itself is not exciting but it is an entertaining meal experience. We went before attending the Fox Theater and it is very conveniently located for this. I would warn that you need at least two hours for the meal due to the length of time it takes to cook the individual items in the fondue pot. The meal consisted of three parts. For the first part or appetizer we chose the Alpine (I believe it was a Gruyere cheese) into which you dip assorted breads and vegetables. The second part was the main course and we selected the meat assortment that included salmon, teriyaki steak, shrimp, chicken and filet to cook on the hot oil fondue. The course came with a garnish of several sauces and tempura batter as well as vegetables. For the final course we chose the dark chocolate with Chambord which came with an assortment of cakes and fruits to dip in the chocolate. Unfortunately, we had to run out on this course because we were running late for the theater, but we did sample this part of the fondue as we ran out of the restaurant.
Our recent visit to the Melting Pot was amazing! We went prior to a show we were going to at the Fox Theater. Unfortunately we were unable to finish our meal and our server very graciously allowed us to come back to complete our last course--dessert! He even remembered that is was a birthday celebration for my husband! Thank you Brandon for making our evening! :)
Had the best experience here for our daughter's 14th birthday. We have eaten at this location before and wasn't crazy about the atmosphere. However, we had an amazing waitress that stayed on top of all our needs. It wasn't too loud so we could enjoy conversations at the table!
Fun dinner before Enjoying The Fox.
It was a very rewarding experience! None of our party had been there before and our waiter was fantastic!! He was so patient and helpful! Great place to go for a special occasion!
Always enjoy this outing. Some of my family had not been to a melting pot before and they loved it! It was a lot of doors but wonderful and our large group of 7 was accommodated perfectly.
We have been to this Melting Pot many times. The service, food, and experience are always great. There’s just something about sitting at a table in the side hallway that keeps me from giving 5 stars all the way across, the ambiance just isn’t there. Overall, it’s a great place and we’ll be back.
Melting Pot never disappoints! Went with my 6 member office team, and had a blast. Great opportunity to bond, chat and get to know each other better. We'll be back!
The service was the worst we have every had!! Food was good but took so long to get the food
Awful experience. Restaurant smelled bad. First bad experience at this chain.
We were there well over 3 hours. Have been several times, but this was by far the longest experience. I think it was mostly our server. We had reservations, so there was no wait to be seated.
