This restaurant needs better ambiance. At a minimum more decor on the walls such as art/paintings. Take a page out of Dante's... for ideas.
Our server, Grace was fantastic. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive.
We were headed to an event at the Fox and our server, Ryan, was outstanding. The meal was very good. The Alpine seemed a little off for some reason.
Came for unlimited cheese and chocolate and to taste new “championship cheese”. All was terrific, but we all fell in love with the new “Cherry Crumble Fondue”. My daughter went so far as to proclaim it “Life Changing”. As far as we are concerned, this should become a permanent offering, vice a seasonal special. Bottom line, you need to go and try this one! Great food, great night, and waitress Julia made it all the more enjoyable. We do fondue!!
The food was amazing our server was completely wonderful the manager came to check on us which I really liked our booth was dirty and the floor and they had just opened and we sat by the windows so we can really see the dirt everywhere so that was not great but over all it was a wonderful experience.
Excellent service, great meal, highly recommended. Fun addition to our trip to atlanta.
Nice intimate setting and a wonderful experience
Everything was fabulous
We had a reservation so there was no wait. The service was excellent, the food was very good. There were quite a few obnoxiously loud women at the booth beside us, but that is not something that can be controlled by the restaurant. Overall it was a very good experience & we will definitely eat there again.
We made a reservation for my daughter's 18th birthday. It said it was valet only. After searching for this valet, my husband parked at a non functioning meter and came in. They told us their valet had already left (8:30 on a Friday). They gave him a valet okay pass to put on the vehicle, so he jogged down and did. The next morning I notice a citation for parking on my car! Our waitress was good. The food was okay, not good enough to be worth it though. A table behind us was extremely loud, vulgar, and disrespectful. All this, and I had requested a private area...so unless you want to be lied to, insulted, overcharged for bland food, or a $39 parking ticket I would not recommend. The only thing that was good about it was our waitress. She was professional and attentive. Wish I had better to say. 18th birthdays only come once. Severely disappointed.
Went there for my wife's birthday last night (3/21/2018). It is not a cheap restaurant, but totally worth the experience. The attention the servers have towards explaining the process and the ingredients.
Our family has dined at the Melting Pot a number of times, but it had been a while. This occasion was a request by one of my adult daughters for dinner out with Dad to celebrate her birthday. As expected, the food was wonderful, the experience great and the service was very attentive. A special note about the ambiance at the midtown location. It is so cozy and romantic. If I were married or dating I would be a more frequent diner. So if you are looking for a romantic experience with that special someone, you can't go wrong with The Melting Pot Midtown.
Fox theater & Birthday
This was a great experience! We went for my husbands birthday and he loved it... the food was delicious and the chocolate fondue to die for. Our waitress grace was awesome and really helped us through the menu... definitely will go back soon!
Good experience worth sharing with friends/family etc Noteworthy is that with groups when you order the 4 course meal you have to come to a consensus on the cheese fondu and u will get 2 chocolate fondue pots. Fortunately we were 4 and could agree on the cheese. The chocolate a bit more difficult. This isn’t an expectation when paying for what one wants to done on and needs to be clear in the menu offerings.
Chris was our server and was friendly, but the service was beyond slow. We were there for almost 2 1/2 hours. We were without our drinks for far too long.
This was an excellent experience for our entire group!
My husband and I ate at the Melting Pot in Midtown before an event at the Fox. We had a wonderful time. We chose the 4-course meal so it took a little time but it was nice to relax and enjoy conversation. Our server was fantastic!!! Can't say enough about her. She was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. Lots of choices regarding the meal, we were very pleased.
Very good and entertaining Brandon was a great waiter for our first time visiting The Melting Pot. The menu was a little confusing for first timers.
From the moment we walked in the door, we felt like family. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and offered suggestions off the menu. The food was incredible. Our Server explained everything to us perfectly. We were celebrating my dughter’s 25th birthday and Michael, our server, brought her something special. It was just an overall wonderful experience.
The food was delicious, and our server was great. However, there was only one bartender working, so it took quite a while (like, over 20 mins) for us to get drinks from the bar. Overall, it was a great experience, though. The Girls’ Night Out special is definitely worth it!
I love having our ladies night at Melting Pot because it's interactive and sparks conversations.
Always a wonderful experience. The tempura style cooking method wasn’t my favorite. But it was worth the try.
The three course special was ordered. Arrived on time. Staff knew we were attending a show later. Our first course took an hour. Main course was rushed as well as the final course. Not very enjoyable We had been there before with no issues.
Very nice meal and great service. Our server Josh noticed we left something at the table and ran down the street after us to give it back. He saved the day!
Before attending the Fox for a show, we enjoyed the cheese/salad/chocolate combination. The price was the best part, just $19 pp. Very pleased with the meal and service.
Delicious food, great atmosphere, super waitress and leisurely dining!!
This was the best experience that I have had in a restaurant! Michael (the server) is phenomenal! I was so looking forward to the mushroom caps with green goddess and I was not disappointed! I enjoyed the cheese, the salad, the entree, but the chocolate (ying and yang) was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to return and I will definitely ask for Michael!
A little pricey for the amount of food but overall a very nice evening.
Ryan was awesome. Dessert was awesome. Great place.
Our dinner at the Midtown Melting Pot was amazing as well as our waiter. We loved our meal. Thanks for a wonderful time, we'll definitely be back.
It was a different experience, but it was great overall. I would most definitely recommend to a friend as well.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the Melting Pot and the atmosphere was amazing. They set the table with rose petals and a single rose with a card that said "Happy Anniversary". Our waiter was very informative and insightful. The food was very delicious and filling. Overall an amazing experience!
Grace was amazing, but felt like the layout of the facility could be a little more intimate, perhaps U shaped tables?
Chain level experience. Server was nice but food was pretty bad
The Melting Pot is a fun place to go for an experience and a meal. You are fully involved in the selecting and cooking of each bite. And the food is great! That said, it is a bit expensive for a place where you have to do your own cooking.
Perfect everything! Our waiter was great and the secluded seating was everything!
It had been a very long time since my last visit to any Melting Pot but, it seemed like the portions were much, much smaller -- for the price. Although, it was delicious.
