Our recent visit to the Melting Pot was amazing! We went prior to a show we were going to at the Fox Theater. Unfortunately we were unable to finish our meal and our server very graciously allowed us to come back to complete our last course--dessert! He even remembered that is was a birthday celebration for my husband! Thank you Brandon for making our evening! :)
Had the best experience here for our daughter's 14th birthday. We have eaten at this location before and wasn't crazy about the atmosphere. However, we had an amazing waitress that stayed on top of all our needs. It wasn't too loud so we could enjoy conversations at the table!
Fun dinner before Enjoying The Fox.
It was a very rewarding experience! None of our party had been there before and our waiter was fantastic!! He was so patient and helpful! Great place to go for a special occasion!
Always enjoy this outing. Some of my family had not been to a melting pot before and they loved it! It was a lot of doors but wonderful and our large group of 7 was accommodated perfectly.
We have been to this Melting Pot many times. The service, food, and experience are always great. There’s just something about sitting at a table in the side hallway that keeps me from giving 5 stars all the way across, the ambiance just isn’t there. Overall, it’s a great place and we’ll be back.
Melting Pot never disappoints! Went with my 6 member office team, and had a blast. Great opportunity to bond, chat and get to know each other better. We'll be back!
The service was the worst we have every had!! Food was good but took so long to get the food
We were there well over 3 hours. Have been several times, but this was by far the longest experience. I think it was mostly our server. We had reservations, so there was no wait to be seated.
We love coming here, and this is my favorite location. Our server was really delightful, and we had a great time. The issues we had should not reflect on the server I don't think. The burner at our table apparently has some issues and is getting repaired soon, but it cooked everything way too fast, splattered oil everywhere, and was impossible to really time or control. The server tried hard though. We also think maybe our table was far from where the rest of her tables were, as it took a while for her to get back to us a few times. Our four course dinner took 3.5 hours - far longer than usual, and about 1.5 hours longer than the table next to us, but we could hear them and they were clearly not having the wonderful time we were. Our server was truly a pleasure despite the burner and the duration, and so was the bartender. The person who sat us seemed really unhappy, but maybe she was just having a bad night? I don't believe the issues we had were typical at all, and we will absolutely be back.
Waitress kept forgetting our order and came back to the table several time to ask us to repeat the order. Wasn’t the best experience I had. May not be back.
Many issues but the biggest - Seated 30 minutes after our reservation. One of the burners was broken and made cooking the meat impossible. Worst experience I have ever had here to the point this loyal customer might not be back.
Our server Dominique was excellent! He was very attentive. The food, as always was wonderful!
I made these reservations for my birthday and for my mom as she flew in to ATL that day and I hadn’t seen her in 1 yr. The restaurant knew this, my husband even got up multiple times from our table to ask about the bday balloon package that they offered and I never received. Dishes were rarely bused off table between courses and waiter was hard to find. I was embarrassed by the service that I got up myself to find the manager. Instead hostess told the assistant manager, told her the problem, she said she was aware of some issues because earlier she had spoke to my husband. Assistant manager Never came to our table, as we were leaving I asked for the assistant manager but she had already gone home for the night. I never got my birthday balloons, my guests were irritated, I was sad and embarrassed..honestly I wish I had never decided to dine here.
Delicious & loved the birthday strawberries!
Always a good experience, yet there has consistently been some confusion about our reservation.
Went here for my girlfriends birthday and it was excellent! It’s a very different dining experience with a great selection of food. The waiter was extremely helpful with answering our questions since it was our first time here and making recommendations that suited us. All in all the service, experience, and actual food was excellent can’t wait to go back again!
My sister and I were in town and she had never been there. We both loved it!! The server was extra nice and helpful with everything. Loved the grill feature!!!
Post event dinner and sat at the bar. Attentive and quick derive with a great staff. Manger, Daniel, stopped in to see that everything was perfect.
Liked the choice of shrimp, lobster Sacchettoni mushroom pasta.
Thanks for a great dinner!
Melting Pot is my favorite restaurant. They have great food and service. If I had one suggestion it would be a less expensive smaller portion for people who don't eat that much.
This is hands down the best Melting Pot location around. I will always drive over a hour to eat at this location. I pass two others to come to this location. Try it
We had an awesome date night at the Melting Pot Midtown. Brandon was our server. We were the last customers of the night yet we were never rushed. He was helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. He made our first experience awesome. We will definitely return again.
The waiter was not very attentive to us. This location did not have the cocktail sauce for the seafood. The butter would not melt. The waiter had to take it to the back to warm it up!
It was a first time experience for my sister & niece - it was a Monday night & the service was super slow. Just a little disappointed.
Our server was great but the hostess was not. although we had a reservation she made us wait at the podium for awhile while she went to the bar and chatted with other workers there.
Great! Good service, yummy food
Service was unusually slow this visit.
Ryan was amazing! He made the experience! The food was phenomenal. I recommend the lobster and the banana foster chocolate.
Mcauley and Chris were awesome and took care of everything we needed. We loved it and can’t wait to come back!
Even though we had a 6:30 appointment, we didn't get seated until 6:55 and it was a side table by a window. Had to wait and wait for our waitress who was either new or overwhelmed it seemed. I had been to that restaurant several times, but was not satisfied with the whole experience this time.
Lighting is a bit too dim. The seating is right next to other tables so conversations don't feel very private. Other than that, food and service was wonderful. Our waitress got us to do our meal as quick as possible so we could make our show at the Fox.
With my teen granddaughter before going to see Wicked at the Fox Theatre. That’s a special time for us both. She loved it!
Melting Pot was hosting some sort of Halloween bash in the afternoon and apparently it dragged over into the dinner hour. None of this was conveyed to those of us who had early reservations in order to get to the Fox, until we complained. One couple waiting with us had been there for an hour before anyone told them what was going on. By the time the manager seated us, there was only time for cheese fondue and salad before we had to rush off to the theater. My granddaughter and I were celebrating our shared birthday with this special dinner, so we were very disappointed to not get the full fondue experience. Once the manager did address us, she did her best to be accommodating by seating us in a private dining room and waiting on us personally, but the damage was already done to our special dinner. I would not recommend Melting Pot Midtown before a Fox show. Maybe on another night it would have been fine. On a separate note, our arrival was not acknowledged in the reservation system. When I received an email from Open Table stating that we were a no-show, I tried to call Melting Pot to correct it, but the phone would either ring and ring, or it would get picked up and hung up again. This was at 9PM, not during the dinner rush.
Coby was our server for the evening. Great service and the food was delicious. Will be returning again.
Food was good, but server disappeared multiple times. Dinner took 2 1/2 hours. Valet process was awful... only one person working on a Saturday night.
Very good experience.
The parking was a problem and charging us 40 some dollars for the cheese fondue was very expensive for 2 people.
We always enjoy dining at the Melting Pot. The servers are great and the food is so good.
Great first time experience.
