Beautiful experience with laid back pace. Truly enjoyable.
Great for a pre-prom meal!
I’ve been here several times and it never disappoints. Food and service is really good.
Great food plus a wonderful experience! Loved the drinks from the bar as well as the food. Would love to go back
I love the melting pot. Food was delicious. Service was lacking somewhat but not too bad. There was a server in training but still enjoyed dinner. Can’t wait to go back!!
Had a great experience. The marriage proposal went great! Thanks for the experience.
I took my wife for a visit, her first, my second, but was still amazed! Bonnie, Daniel, and Rami our waitress were FANTASTIC!! I highly recommend anyone looking for a really cool dinner experience with a cap to it all with dessert that will amaze you to check this place out!!! We will definitely be back!!
While our food was delicious the portions were much smaller than we'd previously experienced. And, our server could not have been more disinterested. She routinely disappeared for long lengths of time. Other servers stopped by and bussed our dishes she was so frequently away. We waited 20 minutes after our cheese course was completed before our salads arrived. This was after waiting almost 10 minutes for the cheese course. The cheese sat on our cooktop for so long that another server had to turn the heat off to keep the cheese from burning. Our server didn't notice that the cooktop was turned off and cold when she sat our cooking grill on our table. We had to have another server turn the cooktop back on or else it would have been completely cold when our entrees arrived. Another server had to run our ticket so that we could leave as our server was gone again. To make matters worse, we were there for a very special occasion, our daughter's 18th birthday. We'd made sure to include this information in our reservation, however, no one really did anything to make the occasion special for her other than the lady who sat us at our table. She offhandedly said, "Oh, Happy Birthday" but our daughter didn't even know she was speaking to her. And our server made no effort to acknowledge the occasion. My daughter was brought a very small cube of cake with a candle in it and 2 halves of a strawberry well after we'd finished our meal. Our server just said, "Here you go." Overall, this was not the special occasion we'd driven over 2 hours to have. It was not even as good as our previous experiences at this location. We were very disappointed. Probably will not return as our meal was not worth the very high price we paid.
The waitress know her job and cared about how we were doing
Our server Margaret clearly did not want to be there. She forgot our cocktails, left us for long periods of time without water and her conversation with us was strange.
The fondue itself felt cheap. The entree was great and the chocolate fondue as well.
This is not a $60 meal, it's a $30.
I will not be going back.
Great value for the amount of food. Since there were two of us it would have been great to have the option of having our own choice of cheese fondue and cooking styles.
First time ever going to The Melting Pot, it was a very pleasant experience and the food was great. It was a very interesting way of dining!
From the wonderful food to our attentive service we had a wonderful evening at the melting pot.
We got to our reservation a little late because of traffic. They were super nice and accommodating to give us the best experience and get us to our show at the Fox
Great service and the food and ambiance was very fun. Girls night at the Fox so very relaxing and banana foster was to die for!!
We went for a coworker’s birthday and had a great time! Our server was the perfect mix of friendly and professional.
Waitstaff always disappears after entree served- it happens every time!
It was extremely loud. There was a party right in the middle of the restaurant that was a group of loud teenage girls. There was multiple table that were dirty and were not cleaned the entire time we were there.
The floors were dirty. A team member wiped off tables spilling food on the floor and no one ever bothered to clean up the floor. There were apples laying on the carpet the whole time. We had 2 servers helping us and they were way overwhelmed. The servers were very friendly, just way too busy.
Great experience have gone several times but should have brought complimentary small cake or something for our 26 wedding anniversary they have done that in the past
This was our first time coming. We are a family of four. My kids really enjoyed the experience. The staff and our waiter was excellent. The only thing that we didn't like was a group of loud drunk girls next to us. But they eventually left so it was ok.
I made reservations for the weekend after Valentine’s Day for my daughter and her friends to celebrate her birthday. When i got there the hostess informed me they only had a prix fixe menu for valentines (even though valentines was two days before) Each person cost $70. There were four teenagers who pick at their food. I asked if they could order from a kids menu and was told no.
Had i known this I wouldn’t have made the reservation. Be careful when you make reservations. I feel like this was a nasty trick by the management. The bill at the end was $420 (incl tax/tip) for four teenage girls.
Our waitress seemed she didn't really want to be there. She never asked if we wanted anything to drink only brought us water and 1 refill a piece. The cheese tasted like straight beer. My salad had to be sent back because it was wrong. Other waiters and waitresses around us at other tables bonded with their tables laughing and bringing refills right away. They also recommended different things to try like the wines and ect. We also had a manager close by our table talk loudly in the phone about shipments and other things causing a distraction at our table This would have to be the worst experience ever, my fiance made the joke that im lucky this wasn't a first date. Sorry for the inconvenience we may have caused visiting the restaurant that caused a poor visit.
Phenomenal experience. Customer service was superb. Definitely recommending to as many as possible. Food came out promptly and with showmanship. Definitely going back many more times
The place was almost empty but they charged almost double the normal price because it was a fixed menu on Valentine’s Day.
The food was okay. It took our server over 15 minutes to greet us. Then another 15 before she came to take out order. On expected to be there for 2 hours but due to the extremely slow service it was a 3 hour experince .
We ordered the Cast Iron grill cook method. I like the idea, but guests should be told that cook style is better suited for those with cooking experience. The Steak Lovers is great for this style, but the veggie choices are not good for that style. Get rid of the potatoes and broccoli and use squash/zucchini. The mushrooms work well on it though.
Service was not good and they did not not about the Fox Theater subscriber benefits
It’s quite an experience! Food was fun and delicious, service was great, the only down fall was the waiting time... even with a reservation we had to wait for about 30min but it was also a Saturday night so I guess it’s understandable.
More of a gimmick to me. Food is just okay. My kids liked it
Food here is delicious and the service is pretty good!
My husband and I came here for our ten year anniversary and it was wonderful.
I brought my wife there for her birthday. It was our first time and it was great!
Our waitress asked us if we were going to the Fox that evening. She said she'd be fast so we could get there on time. I don't know if she was new or just slow, but we didn't receive our chocolate until 7:05. The table next to us came in after us. Their waiter was much more attentive, and got them out way before us. The food was very good, just very very slow service. Our server didn't even end up bringing our credit card back to us. She had someone else bring it.
Service was inattentive and slow. I wouldn't recommend.
Overall my experience was ok. The food and ambiance were nice but the women's bathroom was awful - the seat would not stay up and so kept falling against my back and it would not flush properly... additionally, there was no coat hook for me to hang my coat and purse on!
Julia was our server. Incidentally, we were there for my Julia's birthday dinner! She made the whole night special, and I appreciate that more than I can put here. Thanks Julia!
We booked a reservation with an early enough time to get to the show at the Fox Theatre. When we checked in she asked if we were going to the show and we stated yes. Hostess then told us that they would let our server know so that we would be out in time. Our server was nice but was as slow as Christmas. She was worried more about the time around us with kids than even taking our order. We had to rush through the entree and chocolate fondu because it took so long for her bring it out after the cheese course. We beech eliminates the salad to help with time.
Great food and fun experience! We love to go here before a show at the Fox.
