The Melting Pot - Arrowhead Ratings and Reviews
My wife loves it there but this is the first time we took our son. He loved it! From the private booth to every course served. And the waiter was awesome with my sons questions. I know it's an adult atmosphere, but we wanted to share something special with him. The staff made his experience memorable!
It was my first time at a Melting Pot and the service and the food were excellent and it was a fun experience. I will definitely return. The price was bit of a shocker.
In the bar while waiting we had a cocktail and a couple of shirley temples for the kids and that was $42 with out tip, and dinner was almost $300 with tip. This price point is something that will make it a special occasion restaurant only..
No cocktail sauce (on a Friday during lent) drinks were made wrong after waiting 20 min for them to arrive. poor service for a $200 bill for two people. This is the second time here with a bad experience. Terrible location. Would not recommend to anyone. Try a different location if you're looking for a good, quality experience because you will not get it here.
Our waitress only had 3 tables to work but for some reason she never came to our table after dropping off food to see if we needed anything. After putting the chocolate in she just walked of and didn’t say any and we were wondering if it was ready to eat or not. She wasn’t very good at all. I wasn’t happy with the service but still left her a 15% tip.
Although we enjoyed the food, we were very disappointed that we had to order off of a special Valentine's menu, which was $80 per person! We had no idea that was the case when we booked the reservation. We also were not told about this special menu by the hostess when we arrived, nor the waiter, nor was there any sign about it being the only menu being offered. We did not know we had to order from the select menu until the waiter brought us a glass of sparkling wine and the first course. By then, it was too late to leave the restaurant and be able to get in anywhere else without reservations on a Saturday night. The food was great as always, but we were very unhappy that we didn't know about the price and spent a lot more than we intended to. Not sure if we will return to this restaurant.
This was our special celebration for birthday/anniversary/Valentines Day all in one. Starting with Sparkling Gruyere cheese, vegetables, and bread. Then a California salad with nuts, tomatoes, lettuce. Main event was the lobster, scallops, shrimp, chicken, pasta, sirloin steak, filet steak and more pasta. Vegetables also with the meat and seafood. This was all cook in the Mojo style. Delicious!!! Finishing the meal with White Chocolate Crème Brule with cheesecake, strawberries, raspberries, pound cake, marsh mellows. It was all scrumptious!!! I had a wine flight. Served with each course of the meal. My husband had a Whiskey Thistle. Finishing the night with a half dozen white chocolate and chocolate dipped strawberries. Wonderful night.
My family had a very bad experience here on Valentine's Day. We had never been here befire and were excited to try it. All the staff were very rude from the time we arrived to the time we left. Including the manager who greeted us at the door.
We were given our plates of raw meet but No plates to put our cooked meet on. The waitress was annoyed we asked questions even knowing we had never been there before. It was making me feel nervous to even ask for a napkin because of how we were treated by the employees there. I'm sad to say we will never go back.
The melting pot is my favorite restaurant. I have visited many different melting pot restaurants in multiple different states. This is the first melting pot that I went to where the amount of cheese and chocolate given were at least half the amount of other restaurants that I’ve been to. I am a small female and I don’t have a big appetite it was just me and my husband and there really wasn’t enough cheese or chocolate for both of us had we been really hungry I think we would’ve left still hungry the entrées were great there was a lot of food there and they gave a lot of dipapers for the cheese and chocolate but not enough in the pot itself. Considering the price of the entrées were the same as elsewhere I was very disappointed in this. On a completely different note when we were leaving the restaurant I was approaching my car and a melting pot employee came up behind me and scared me as I was getting into my door because my back was to him and he walked right up to my door and then as he passed my door he actually closed my door a little bit so he could walk by, which I thought was very rude and completely unacceptable. Our server was the highlight of the meal he was very professional and gave us excellent service.
Nice place to go for a different kind of appetizer and drink or for coffee and a dessert. The fondue for those 2 items I would recommend. As a meal.. falls way short of being pleasing or satisfying. For the cost of the meal there are much better restaurants that provide more satisfying tasty menu items.
Wonderful meal with my husband. The spInach cheese fondue was delicious. We did the surf and turf main entree (chicken, shrimp, filet, lobster and mushrooms) in Mojo broth. Our server let us swap out the mushrooms for more shrimp. Flaming Turtle fondue for dessert. Every suggestion from our server was spot on. Great date night place.
