Perfect night out
We had a great time at the melting pot! Dinner lasted a while, as expected. Our waitress was very helpful in explaining every step of the fondue experience.
My wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary at this location...Carlos was, without any doubt, the best server we’ve ever had anywhere we’ve dined out. Thank you for facilitating an outstanding and romantic anniversary experience!
The food and staff were great. We had a group of 6 and we really enjoyed our meal. The one complaint we all had was the restaurant was extremely hot, to the point it was uncomfortable. The waiter said other tables had expressed the same concern, and the air conditioning was on as low as it would go. Other than that though, we would definitely go back.
Went to try the World Champion 3-course experience and started with the Sherry Cherry which was amazing. The Sherry Cherry cheese fondue should become a staple of the regular menu. Also took advantage of the $4.11 world cheese deal and tried the bacon and mushroom which was good, but the Sherry Cherry was much better. The Cherry crumble fondue was divine and should be a regular part of the menu as well.
Great food! Great atmosphere! Great drinks! The Melting Pot is a GREAT place!
The food was really good. The only thing that was lacking was our waiter. He didn't come back to check up on us often and forgot our bottle of wine that we ordered. I think at the end he knew he messed up because he brought us a free cheesecake slice.
Carlos our server was great. He was very personable and always around when we needed him. We had a wonderful time. To top it off the manger gave us a complimentary tasting of a new wine they had.
We've been at The Melting Pot many times and every time, it is a wonderful and delicious experience! Service is always great (Alex was our last one and she was fantastic). One amazing thing to do add: They have a vegan cheese fondue! Unbelievable!! And very good too!
Love going to the Melting Pot but it is VERY EXPENSIVE so we only go 1-2 times each year fro special occasions. Food was great. Service was good - the glass of wine we ordered didn't get served until after we were consuming the cheese fondue, but otherwise, fine. Don't enjoy paying $2 to park but I understand the restaurant doesn't control the parking garage, and appreciate the validation discount.
I might go back for dessert, but it was slow and expensive. not really awesome to pay a ton of money for a small amount of food and then you have to cook it yourself...
We love The Melting Pot, we always have a great time and the food never disappoints
We love Melting Pot and always enjoy their food. This was our first time to this location and we will definitely be back. Stephen was our server and he was awesome!
The Melting Pot remains a great choice for a tasty, fun meal. Fun for groups.
This was my first time eating here. The service was great and food was even better! Staff went out of their way to help make my first anniversary special! Definitely above and beyond what most people would do.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday! The waitress was absolutely fantastic. Our meal was delicious and well-paced. Restaurant week in NOVA was wonderfully well-spent at the Melting Pot in Arlington. From the cheese course to the chocolate course it was an absolute pleasure. We'll be back!
The Melting Pot is always a fun dining experience! The food is delicious, and the individual booths are cozy. It's a great place for a date night with my husband.
Great fondue. The restaurant week deal included four courses: cheese, salad, entree, and chocolate.
Carlos was an excellent server! Food was delicious!
I feel it is crucial that the wait staff caution all customers to not eat from or place cooked meats on the same plate with the uncooked meats. Not aware, my friend mixed his cooked and uncooked meats on the same plate. All I could think of was the possibility of contracting some food-born bacteria. After dinner, I asked our server if they say anything to customers about this. He said, because there was a minor confusion about who would be our server, he forgot to mention it. [And, he didn't apologize about the oversight either.] I didn't like sharing the same pot to cook our meats because my friend ordered New Orleans style and all the food we cooked in the broth became spicy and I don't like spicy. At first, I thought the vegetables were seasoned that way until I tasted one of his meats and found all his meats were spicy. And, in the Special Instructions box of the OpenTable reservation I mentioned that it was my birthday and since I was given the option to pick any restaurant, I picked them because I was curious about why they say eating at The Melting Pot is an experience and wanted to try them. Oddly enough, no one paid attention to the instructions so no one said thank you for picking them to celebrate my birthday nor did any one wish me a happy birthday.
Aside from the kid’s birthday party that turned the volume up to ten, the Irish Beer Dinner on St. Patty’s Day was great! Cozy booth, good food, good drinks, great service, and we didn’t feel rushed when we wanted to sit and sip our drinks after our meal was done.
OMGEEEEE......I LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE AND THE FOUR COURSE MEAL IS THE BEST....I SAID TOO MY WAITER I DON'T EAT CHEESE....MAN THAT CHEESE WAS SOOOOO GOOD I ATE IT ALL AND THE DESERT WAS THE BOMB WILL BE RETURNING....oh and u cook ur own food.....
Our server was forgetful (salmon came out on the entree of one of our party that asked for none; had to ask for multiple items twice) but the food was great and the St. Patty's day themed menu with drink pairings was a good value
We came to the Melting Pot to celebrate a birthday. We experienced excellent service, and good sized portions for the price, although the filet was not as nice a cut of meat as one might expect for the price. At the same time, the service and care was excellent, the food was of an excellent quality, and we loved the experience overall.
Alex was an awesome waitress. She was very knowledgeable of the whole menu and gave great recommendations for our first visit. We definitely will be back.
Decent experience but expected more for price. Went here a few years ago at the Reston location which had better service. Met some nice servers for other tables but ours was nowhere to be seen most of our meal. I understand people usually take there time with food so the meal takes longer but we would be sitting for 10 min completely finished with our course before he would even be there to check up on us.
Great place for a celbration
Overall the food was delicious, however, I don’t recommend the tofu...not good at all. This wasn’t our first time dining but it was the first time ordering the tofu.
Enjoyed this restaurant last night. Took my wife for a surprise date there and she described it as "an experience." Excellent service, consistent flavor, and well prepared. Worth going the first time... Or again!
My husband and I like to go for special occasions. My parents never been and so we decided to take them. We had a good time and the food was what we expected. However, I was a little disappointed with the service. It wasn't a busy night (Tuesday) and on multiple occasions we had to get up to find our server.
Always good food and such a fun dining experience!
We had a great night, it’s was girls night out. First diners for all of us, our server was great. The only complaint I had was I did tell my server I had order my chocolate covered strawberries when I made the reservation she said no problem she would bring them out at the end and I did not receive them. That was a little disappointing once I got home and realized I didn’t receive them.
Johnathan was our server and he was fantastic! My boyfriend and I️ went for the service industry special they were having, and the whole experience was impeccable. I would highly recommend for a date night.
Our server was great. The food was delicious, but wait times were very long and they put us in a room with a party of approximately 10 3-5 year olds. When we asked if we could be moved we were told that the other available tables were being held for reservations. We also had reservations so that was less than satisfactory.
The food is excellent and the service is outstanding this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants.
This was our first visit to this Melting Pot location. We had previously dined at the Indianapolis venue. In comparison, our service in Arlington was much more attentive than we are used to. The food came out in a timely fashion and our server was on point. The manager filled in the gaps when our server picked up a table of 15 teenage girls.
The noise level was unusually high due to the girls and another large group but still tolerable. The food is always good, and this was no disappointment. We typically think the portions are small, but always leave very full!
Night out with family and shared 2 entrees which was perfect for a family of 4!
Our experience at melting pot seems to have gotten better and better over the years. The service received his top shelf and the spacious area we were seated was fantastic for the special occasion. I do recommend asking for the same location located near the side door. We arrive with great into the patient hoping for great service and we left feeling like Special guests on a red carpet event. The entire experience is just phenomenal and highly recommended.
Always a fun time, and plenty of time to talk between fondue bites.
Food was very mediocre but the dessert was great! Definitely will come back for dessert :)
