Had a reservation for Friday night, there was no need. We were served by the bar tender. He was friendly and very informative whenever he was around... we asked for more bread for the cheese fondue, we had to ask another waiter to get him. The cheese was dried by the time we got more bread. We each had a premium filet mignon, we could not cut it with the butter knife. I asked for another dish of filets, but he offered sirloin instead... umm those cuts are more tough than a filet! He brought out more filets and provided a discount for the poor cuts. The bar tender was great when he was there, he's a bar tender than can sell you a drink. This was our 3rd time at this melting pot, and our last

Overall was very disappointed with everything other than the atmosphere. Maybe it just wasn’t my thing - but the waiter never asked if we needed more drinks or anything.

Server was horrible. Splashed cheese everywhere which burned onto tabletop and smelled throughout meal. Long breaks between courses and when retrieving refills. She wasn’t able to screw on the cover to the pot when removing it.

Lots of ups and downs. I have always had an amazing experience at Melting Pot with great food and wonderful service, but it was not the case at the Melting Pot on Glebe Rd. The food was good, but the soda was flat. The server was friendly, but was extraordinarily slow to bring drinks with carbonation and the food. I don’t eat out often and if I do, especially if I’m paying that amount of money, I want to enjoy it completely. I may give it another chance myself, but would not recommend spending that amount of money for that experience to a friend.

For a few small bites of meats for dipping in cheese is $49. If you want to make a show why not. We went there ordered our foods and deserts. Everything was ok till server brought us the check without our request. We were planning to open another bottle of wine and order another chocolate dip for kids but for some reason they brought our check. I talked with manager he said this is their policy. Bringing check after dessert. I’ll never go back again. So unprofessional.

The food was good and the service was excellent! I understand that this is a restaurant filled with hot pots and plates on every table, but if it is possible to turn the AC on blast it would make the experience perfect!
Dress lightly if you’re warm natured.

Going on Mother's Day means that it's a busy destination, and at 7:00 PM, the staff is tired, cheerful, but tired, so not as attentive as normal. The food, however, was good, as always, and we all had a nice time. It's a unique menu, and the casual pace of drinks, then cheese fondue, then salad, then main course, and then dessert fondue means lots of family time, talk, and laughs.

Only thing I would say is we got there for our reservation time but had to wait about 10 minutes before we were able to be seated because they didn’t have any open tables. It was not crowded at that time and many tables were open. Very confused. Also was very hard to find waiter after ordering.

Much too expensive for mediocre quality meats and fish. Most items were overly salty, including the sauces.
I like fondue, as it gives me 3 hours with my teenage grandson; a fun way to catch up. He like the food better than I

Last Wednesday 5/8 was my first time at the Melting Pot. We went for my GF's birthday. The food was great, and the restaurant was quiet. The manager seated us and was very nice. Our waiter was very helpful at the start of the meal and recommended various items for cheese, salad & entrees as I had never been before and my GF had only been twice.

Once the entrees came, my GF ordered another drink, and our waiter told us he would be back shortly. However, we did not see our waiter again for nearly an hour. We each finished our water, and our waiter never returned to fill up our water back up.

We then finished our entrees and simply waited there until our waiter finally returned for the dessert course. We had already finished the entrees (as nearly an hour had past), so there was no need for him to bring the sauces that were supposed to accompany the entrees that he had not brought us. However, we asked the waiter for my GF's drink, and he finally brought it. No apologies, no explanation, no anything. Just placed the drink on the table and walked away again. It then took another 20 min or so for our dessert course to be brought out.

We arrived at the restaurant at 7:30, and did not leave until after 9:30. I paid $150 for the two of us, and we didn't get the sauces that came with the entrees, received very poor service, never got a water re-fill, waited an hour for a drink to finally be delivered, and received no apology from our waiter. The food was great, but how a waiter can simply not stop back by his table after he delivers the entrees, and after an hour passes, is absolutely beyond me.

We were a group of 5 celebrating the graduation of my son from college. The Melting Pot made this special occasion even more special with the fun of fondue and the delightful selection of cocktails. The service was attentive and, even though we were all happily discussing my son's future plans, the large booth made us feel as if were not disturbing other diners. We were very pleased to be able to linger over after dinner drinks. I thoroughly appreciated the vegetable option, especially the tofu and the ravioli.

We had a great time celebrating my daughters birthday. The only thing I wish I knew ahead of time was to request a 2 burner table. Didn't know to do that. It had been a while since we had been to The Melting Pot so we had to have a review and the waiter was great.

The overall experience for me was great up until it was time to pay the bill. Now don’t get me wrong we were all for the paying. We asked our waiter about the Easter Menu and Prices that we over heard another waitress telling another family. Because we were not offered the same special. He informed us about this menu and pricing after we’ve ordered and eaten our food from another menu, By this time we requested to see the manger on duty. We tried explaining the situation to the manger but he was very dismissive and very unprofessional and had us under the impression that the Waiter that Waited our table informed him that we were well aware of the Easter Menu. Come to find out the Waiter said noting of sort and the Manger began to apologize pretty much for lying on our waiter and the manger and gave us the prices for the Easter Menu. Although the food was good. We will not be returning to this location because of the character of the Manger.

For Easter Brunch, my partner and I did the 4-course Easter special: cheese fondue, salad, main course, and dessert for $39.95. All courses were excellent! As usual, I was so stuffed I couldn't finish all the dessert. :( It was an excellent value and our server, Destiny, was professional and had a good humor. We're looking forward to our next meal there.

Banquette seats were torn in multiple spots, including a hole.
Pacing of meal was POOR, had to ask host to intervene because entree dishes sat dirty for more than 30 minutes while plated dessert trays sat around the corner. We told server multiple times that we needed quick transitions with 4 kids 11 & under.
Complimentary photo was blurry and
steam obscured faces

Thanks Kevin for a special anniversary dinner.

The meal was a fun and delicious experience. I booked online, and we only waited two minutes for the staff to finish setting up the table. I requested "A touch of romance" which gave my wife a smile when she saw the rose petals and candles on the table. Kevin, our server, was great. He was energetic without being overwhelming. He guided us through the menu and the fondue meal process. Every course was delicious. My wife and I have similar tastes, so we had no problem agreeing on the cheese course, the oil for the meat course, and the chocolate course. ( I don't know how it would work with one pot and two or more people at a table with different tastes.) Everything was perfect and it made a unique, fun, and delicious dinner for our 21st anniversary.

We normally go to the Melting Pot located in Annapolis, MD since that's where we live. We decided to go to this one to celebrate my gf's birthday since we were up in VA that day anyway and she loves fondue. Previously my opinion of the Melting Pot was limited to the one in Annapolis, so I never thought much of the place. But this one changed my mind. I actually enjoyed myself this time.

Waiter was outstanding! It was his 3rd day working there but you would never know that. I cannot leave enough positive input for him. In addition, I unintentionally left my credit card behind. I had not even gotten into my car after leaving and the manager was calling me to let me know I'd left it behind. I have a Melting Pot much closer to my home, but I will drive over an hour to go to this one in the future.
