The Melting Pot - Arlington TX Ratings and Reviews
We took our daughter, her boyfriend and both families to The Melting Pot to celebrate her graduation from high school. What a wonderful choice!
We had a cozy table for 8! The restaurant has great atmosphere, we laughed and ate to our hearts content! Everyone was happy with the variety and enjoyed sharing the fondues. The food and service was fantastic.
We went to dallas for a graduation gift for our daughter. We chose to take her to the melting pot as a little more grown up dinning experience. This was the first time we had ever been there. after my brother had told us we wouldnt want to eat boiled meat we got to thinking about it and chose the cooking option with oil before going. we were advised by our waiter of a different choice being better because it was our first time and that the oil was easy to burn up the meat. so we did the mojo option. It was great! didnt taste like boiled meat at all, it was fantastic and we would do it again!
My wife and I came to celebrate our 28th Anniversary. This is the place to come. The food was great. The atmosphere is cozy (we were in booth). The pace of the meal was fabulous. And more importantly, our waitress, Brittany, was simply outstanding. She was timely in every aspect of our dinner, allowing us to enjoy the meal and even her occasional light banter. In short, the Melting Pot is the place to come for a romantic night.
We celebrated our 38th anniversary this week and were happy to find the Melting Pot available for the celebration. We love the broth based fondues. Went with the four course meal. It is a great location for a romantic dinner as the restaurant is structured for privacy and intimate dining. We will be back. An excellent celebration had by the two of us.
First off, the food is always "Amazing" as usual. :)
I have been to the melting pot many times and it was just as good as always, except one thing I noted was that HUNTER the server was very attentive but not too intrusive. Above all he was very respectful. I would rate the food a 10 out of 10. the service off the charts!!! I recommend the melting pot in Arlington out of any in the area.
We made a reservation and arrived a few minutes early. We were seated promptly in a lover's lane booth as we had requested. Our server was quick to greet us, quick to get the food out, and accurate with our orders. We had absolutely no problems at all, and our 4-course dinner went faster than normal. We enjoyed it being a bit more fast paced so that we were not forced to be sitting at dinner for 2+ hours. We had absolutely no complaints about the food or the service, and it was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary! We keep coming back every year, and we love it.
Only thing I was sad about was the fact that they took the cheesecake off the dessert platter :(
Fun way to dine. Everything went well except the filet. Fondue is a good way to ruin a goid steak. If it was cut in very thin slices, it would be akin to kobe beef tableside cooking as in Asia and acceptable. Presented in chunks does not do it justice.
Have dined at the Tulsa facility and consistent good service and overall good food.
Friendly staffall around.
I was a bit nervous about going out with my girlfriend to such a expensive place for our first anniversary, but beyond a shadow of a doubt I made the right choice. The waitress Lissett was incredible at explaining not only our menu but made us feel right at home. Tucked away in our own little nook made it feel quaint and romantic. The food was delish and we walked away completely satisfied. I have been bragging all day about the experience. We will definitely be back.
This was my first time at a Fondue restaurant and I was truly blew away. This is where you don't come to rush and eat but have a truly dining experience with excellent waiter service. The servers instructed us how we cook and dip our meats. The ambiance was great and its the perfect place for a romantic date.
My wife and I went to the melting pot for our anniversary. Service was great the food was great. The romantic feel to the place was awesome. We wanted one of the waitress to take a picture of us, but our phones died. She apologized and walked away. Meanwhile, another waitress came by with a digital camera and took out picture. The manager printed it out and put it in a little black envelope. It really was an awesome experience.
Our small group of 11 long-distance co-workers had a fun, relaxing and very memorable dining event after 2 long days of meetings. We enjoyed the wonderful food and wine and the new experience of a variety of fondue choices! The management and waitstaff did a great job!
I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with a romantic dining experince. The Melting Pot immediately crossed my mind when thinking of a romantic dining experience. My first Melting Pot experience was with my sister as she introduced me to this awesome place! She brought me to TMP because she knows I love to cook. The experience was great! Immediately I thought of taking my boyfriend here because we are always in the kitchen cooking together, it is our bonding time. What better idea than to bond over a romantic dinner cooking for each other and feeding each other in an intimate setting on Lovers Lane!
He was speechless, and that doesn't happen very often.
This is an excellent dining establishment and very unique. The food is top notch especially the chocolate. The ambience is great, quiet and romantic for any special occasion. The service is personal and with that special touch much more so than most easting establishments. The menu is very wide ranged for most budgets. This was our second visit and no doubt it was as good as the first.
Brought my daughter & her few friends for her birthday. They all enjoyed themselves very much. It's a bit pricey but that's what she wanted to do for her birthday. Unless a special occasion, I would not just go for dinner/brunch due to how expensive it is. The amount of money I spent does not reflect the amount of food or quality of food u get. U are paying for the experience.
I really enjoyed the fondue but found my entree (which was steak) to be mediocre, it was bland tasting and I did not like the fact that you have to cook your own entree in the melting pot. When I go out to eat, it is for someone else to cook my food not myself! This was the only part that was unenjoyable with my experience at the Melting Pot.
