Go to this location all the time and for the very 1st time the service was severely poor . Back of house could not get it together at all . However our server was great . Dirty utensils , dirty plates , salad wasn’t fresh had more bad pieces of lettuce than good . Sticky silverware . Glasses smelled like old dish water . Normally we have a decent amount of food each time , but tonight was totally different than all other . Was very disappointed

The food was great, as always! However, this time, the service wasn’t as great as it usually is. When our broth was brought out for our meat cooking, our server noted that we needed refills and she’d be right back. Twenty minutes later, we ended up flagging another server down to ask for refills. There were other excessive waiting times that we don’t typically experience here as well. While we could hear our server taking care of other tables, we rarely saw her at our table. We did end up bringing it up to the manager after we had been waiting a while on a few sauce refills and he was extremely apologetic and did whatever he could to make the rest of our night better. We love Melting Pot and will definitely be back, but hope for a better experience next time.

Food was great but the service was absolutely terrible. We go to Melting Pot for special occasions over the last 15 years and have never had such terrible service. It started out good but went downhill from there. Our server disappeared for very long periods of time, took forever to get refills, our salads came out with the entrees. My sons meat was wrong, server was no where to be found to at least 10 mins to fix that and to get refills on vegetables. 2 different servers had to help us clear the table, take our chocolate order AND bring our chocolate. Our original server did not check on us until we were done with the chocolate then he disappeared with my husbands credit card for at least another 10 minutes. We saw his dropping of food for another table and we had to flag him down for our credit card. No apologies from him for anything. He did in fact blame the kitchen once for not being present when we needed something. This service was absolutely unacceptable and unfortunately we will NEVER be back. We tend to be more gracious than most when eating out because we were servers for a decade and my husband worked at the melting pot so we understand that things get busy but the service we received tonight was horrible.

What can I say? OK- I'm 59 and been remarried a year, my late wife and I were married 35 years before she passed away... SO, I have been to a LOT of places to eat. THIS PLACE is BY FAR the BEST. ROMANTIC, QUIET, LAID BACK, EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL WAIT STAFF, VERY GOOD PRICES, VERY DELICIOUS FOOD, FANTASTIC BARTENDER, WELL PREPARED AND CLEAN... I'm so blown away that I've been in Arlington most of my life and didn't go here before. It's been here a while now. I had 20 years I could have gone, and yes I'm happy I went with my new best friend but wow... BEST KEPT SECRET IN ARLING-TOWN... WE WILL BE BACK!!! If I could give it an 11 I would but that's only reserved for Marshall dream AMPS in cheesy rock star movies right. What the heck Melting Pot gets a 12.

Went for a birthday, our waitress seemed very impatient as if she was rushing us throughout the whole dinner. We had gone before and had a great waitress & service overall. Spent around $250 for dinner, the service and price didn’t match the experience this time. Food overall was good, but the service was subpar.

Ordered the $50 bouquet of roses for Valentines and this was what my girlfriend got. Wasn’t even 12 roses. Only 10. Looked more like a table piece than something I’d give to my girlfriend

The Melting Pot has been around. However, I’ve never tried it until today. The vibe, music, staff and price was good. However, the food was mediocre to me, I should have taken my Cavender’s Greek Seasoning. Regardless, of how the food taste the experience was fun. This is a perfect place for date night, couples night, and family without the kids night. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give this joint a THREE!

Food was good -- not outstanding -- and portions were generous. The server quizzed us incessantly about the reason for our visit, our jobs, our schooling, and on and on while preparing fondue. He let water glasses go empty several times, and served chocolate fondue cold; he told us it would take one or two minutes to heat up, but we wound up waiting and stirring for at least five minutes before it was even warm.

Waiter had poor attitude, while taking our order we did not feel welcomed. He seemed not to care about his guest. Ordered a drink and never even made it to the table . I have been several times but have never had this kind of service , I will have to think twice if I will return .

It was for my daughters birthday, it was amazing. Our server was awesome. We didn’t need for anything at anytime during our meal. He made great suggestions and had a great personality! We come every year for her birthday & we look forward to it every year! I highly recommend if you want a relaxing & delicious meal.

Did notice that the portion sizes are smaller than on previous visits (meat, seafood much smaller pieces; much less chocolate for dessert, ran out of chocolate before finishing all items to dip in it; same thing with the cheese).
