Can't get enough of the Melting Pot. This place always delivers upon my expectations! The servers are always very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely return.

I've been eating at the Melting Pot in various locations for more than 30 years. This is a perfectly ok location. The seats are to low for comfort. The service was very pleasant but not very efficient. We tried a number of items that we hadn't seen before and perhaps that was an error but we wanted to try some things they might not be available at other locations. We started with the Apple Cider Alpine fondue when normally we go with Alpine (wine based) or cheddar (beer/lager based). It was sweeter than I cared for. My husband categorized it as "different" but wouldn't order it again. I always enjoy the California salad and did last night. For the entree we built our own which isn't abnormal for us. I often go for the three steaks because I love steak and am so-so on chicken and shrimp. Last night I tried the Apple Rosemary Pork which I enjoyed but felt the flavor was too heavy on rosemary overpowering the other flavors. DH's take was "pretty good". You may be noticing he's a man of few words. He usually goes with steak and shrimp and some spur of the moment third item. Yesterday was the Old Bay Chicken. He coated it with both the tempura and sesame batters and I thought it was quite good, I might order it again. My husband thought it was ok and a nice change but probably not something he'd get on another visit. Our chocolate fondue is usually Yin/Yang but with dark and milk chocolates and has never disappointed. The staff was VERY nice about getting more strawberries since I don't care for the really sweet dippers like brownies or rice crispy treats. Over all it was another good visit, just not the best it could be.

The noise level was VERY high and a bit of a distraction. We were re-seated to an area that was quieter but still noisy. The wait staff seemed to be stretched a little thin as there was less attention than from other locations. Also, I had advised it was my daughter’s birthday and absolutely nothing was done to acknowledge the special occasion. In addition, the decor is VERY dated. This location needs to be seriously redecorated.

This is our birthday tradition ever since college. Lexington KY, Rocky River OH and Cooper City FL all were much quieter with updates decor. I drove up from NC to take her and was disappointed.

Have been going to this location since it opened, and unfortunately it’s been in a downward trend for the past couple of years. Portions and quality have both been significantly reduced, to the point that my dinner companion and I actually left this time after just one pot of cheese fondue and went elsewhere to finish our meal....

Our party of four had a super evening enjoying a fondue dinner which none of us had done for 30+ years.
Our waiter was FABULOUS!!!!! He added the special ingredient to our visit. We'll be sure to return for another special occasion...or maybe even on an ordinary evening.

Have to say we were disappointed. Always loved going here but won't return.
Made a 9pm reservation, stood at desk going on 5 min before greeted. Got impression hostess who ended up our server was, tired or just having a bad day. Felt very rushed, was given no napkins, and were checked on very minimally.
Could hear server trying to talk table behind us out of the full courses. Sad service.
Chocolate was of course delicious though.

Great time

Second time around. Just as awesome as the first time. The wait staff is excellent. Food selection and variety is outstanding. One can not have a fun time eating here. Probably the most social meal with family and friends one will experience. We never fail to laugh, talk and enjoy each others company in this setting.

As usual the food was amazing, however this was the first time I’ve been to this location and had the service not meet my expectations...Our server was new and it was a Friday night so we expected a bit of a wait, however we waited almost a half hour for our salads that never came. Suddenly we had our entrees brought out and were pretty confused, the manager was super sweet and apologized for the situation and they boxed up our salads to go. Overall, while the service didn’t ruin my birthday as I’m pretty patient, I’ll say it did grate my nerves a little bit.

We were there for a family dinner. Our server John was amazing and made the evening even more fun than just our family of 4 being together. We are bringing first timer friends back in two weeks and will definitely ask for John.

My wife and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, as we do each year. As we entered we were greeted by the hostess and we mentioned our reservations. The hostess asked if I was holding the paperwork for the "free" chocolate covered strawberries, and I said yes, she immediately told me I should have called to place the order, but she had some extras. In my opinion, her tone was condescending. I told her that I had placed my reservation on line and received a confirmation. Later, I received the email for the strawberries and called in.

I would recommend (if you don't already have) you have a means to email the strawberries request, instead of having to call in. That way, those receiving the gift can receive a confirmation email, just like when we place a reservation. This was my first ever negative experience with the Melting Pot.

It did not appreciate the beginning of my evening with my wife, but the remainder of the evening was very nice. Great waitress, food and drinks. I will share with family and friends my most recent experience, the good and the bad.

Our past visits have always been good, but on my girlfriends birthday our visit was exceptional! The food was delicious as always but the waitress is what really made the difference for us, she was energetic, helpful, patient and overall the best we’ve ever had. This is a go to for any special occasions and we will definitely be back soon!

We celebrated my daughters wedding. The waiter was fabulous and the restaurant accommodated my request for balloons at the last minute. We come here to celebrate all of our special occasions.

My family and I enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience at the Annapolis Melting Pot. We were there to celebrate our Daughters 18th Birthday. From checking in at the Host stand to having a plate delivered with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate with a piece of cake and a candle for the birthday girl. Our Waiter was fantastic and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend Annapolis Melting Pot for any special occasion!

Food wasn’t great. Had fun with my friends though and the waiter was very nice/helpful.

Everything was really nice. Our server was very sweet and helpful. Everything was delicious. It's an expensive place, but worth it once in a blue moon!

We thought we made reservations during restaurant week but we missed it by a day. The staff were great and still accommodated the menu and pricing for us. Very delicious.

First got there and the drinks were not really good. They tasted watered down. Could have been left over water in shaker. Manager made up for it and we had a great experience. The server was awesome.

Celebrated 32nd year wedding anniversary. Ambiance was perfect and hubby and I totally enjoyed the evening. Was a little disappointed that no mention of our anniversary was given even after putting that in our online reservations

This was a fantastic experience!

A lovely place for our birthday celebration. All of the staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and gracious. Never felt rushed during our dining experience - which it really is as we had four different and unique courses. The wine splits were a great choice, too.

We had 2 cooking pots, which was what we requested as two of us don’t eat meat. We also requested
two cooking styles, one oil and one coq au vin. Both cooking styles did not heat up and when we were advised that we could start cooking, we put our food in and after 11 minutes nothing was cooked, so all that food was oil saturated or just soaked through and we had to throw it away. We advised management and they just turned up the heat to high, at which point, for the oil anyway, things were burning on the outside and raw inside. No effort was made to replace any of the items

We love the staff and the atmosphere of the Melting Pot and we visit often. The food and the staff are always on point. We think it's a great place to connect with our kids because no one argues over the menu! The only thing that was a little disappointed was that I made reservations 2 weeks in advance. I noted it was our 12-year old's birthday. The girl who checked us in asked if we were celebrating anything and so did our waitress. Still, no one did ANYTHING special for our daughter. She was really disappointed.

Really enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious and our server was very accommodating, and helped us with our selections. Will definitely be back!

Liv was great and we had a blast celebrating my birthday

Wasn’t pleased with the server and not hearing it was my friend’s first time there; thus, her not giving background & instructions. Then I had to leave our table to find out where are drinks were. We had another server come deliver more items than our original server. It got confusing who was our real server. The manager comp’d the one round of drinks and visited our table prior to our issues. Just felt the experience should’ve been better like my prior experiences there or with the chain itself. After I made the reservation on OpenTable, I did call and let them know we’d have 1 person coming late but I wanted to start with the 2 once we arrived because I know you need everyone to start the fondue experience. They said, “no problem.” When we arrived the host said, “sorry, everyone needs to be here.” My friend, that had never been, was ready to leave because she didn’t want to wait. I kindly went up and let him know I’d called earlier about our reservation situation. He talked to the mgr & he allowed us to be seated. I was grateful.
