The service was very good. Everyone from the host to the bartender were very friendly especially our waiter.
We usually enjoy the Melting Pot. Last time that we came was phenomenal. We only come on special occasions. Overall the service was bad. The waiter seemed new. He didn't turn the heat up appropriately for any of the fondue pots, so the cheese wasn't melted, and the cooking times were long on the food. When we inquired about directions to aquarium, the server told us that Albuquerque did not have one, which they do... when I tried to pay with my debit card, I was told they were getting an error message, and I'd have to wait 15-20 minutes for it to be resolved- thankfully I had cash! We will be returning because we enjoy the food, but hopefully next time will be more satisfactory.
We really enjoyed the new items on the menu. We especially liked the cheese dish with the bacon and mushrooms in it. We hope this winner will continue to be a regular menu item. The California citrus salad had become our favorite.
Love the Melting Pot, never have been disappointed with the food OR the service. A little pricey but DEFINITELY worth it.
For over a year my wife had begged me to take her there, our first visit was not a happy one. The service was terrible. First we waited 30 minutes before our order was taken, second we had to ask for refills on our tea. Then when he did bring us tea my wife did not get the tea she ordered. He poured her a glass full of ice and poured me all the tea. Before our meal was halfway through he took our sauces before we could finish dinner. Lastly, or dessert was supposed to be flambeed. That did not happen neither. Overall the food was good and I would like to take her back again.
Marvelous experience, as usual. Delicious food, excellent service, and lovely atmosphere.
Bad service. We were in a private room due to a large party. We kept having to walk out of the room to find our waitress
Service was spectacular! Food was pretty good.
First time! Everything went great! I am GF and no shellfish. Our server Nate was awesome and worked everything separate for me so I didn’t have to worry. The blackberry sage cocktail was awesome, large and only $4.95 for happy hour. My husband had a spiked tea and his drink was $9.95 and smaller! 😳 We did the four course meal and was very pleased and left very full. Thank you!
As usual, we had a great experience at The Melting Pot! Their food is great and it is a nice change to do fondue instead of the normal dinner. There is no rush as a meal takes 2-3 hours and it is a great place for a couple to celebrate a special day. The service was a little slow this time, but our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. She explained all the cooking times for the meat and was very friendly. Overall a wonderful evening!
The waiter was spectacular. My daughter went on a date with her boyfriend and the waiter recommended several options that made them at ease. They had so much fun! It was a great time and now a favorite!
Service is very slow and disorganized. Staff are very nice but it’s unclear they know how to work efficiently and be attentive to customers - probable training or management issue or both. We stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Was less than half full. Took 15 minutes to be seated and the meal took 2 hours and 45 minutes from arrival to check. Bad choice for anything but a very leisurely meal where you have nothing better to do with your evening.
I like the food and the wait staff. Menu is confusing and overwhelming as there are so many options to choose from and the portions do not equate to the number of people you have. Also, very pricey to get all courses so you need to choose carefully! We had a nice birthday celebration evening but were there for just over 3 hours total as they had an unexpected number of people show up for a Wednesday night and the kitchen was not prepared, resulting in slow service.
Great fun! It is expensive, however the experience and food make it worth the money. Our server was fantastic and that added to experience.
Fine as usual but providing raw and unfortunately large slices of potatoes as filler to boil is a complete failure. Why? Because potatoes take a long time to boil/cook in water or broth. Thus, they don't cook through even if you put them in a the beginning and take them out at the end. A total waste of time and a total miss by this chain. In the end, they need to remove them from the plates for the entrees and replace them with something else completely that will work in the broth.
Staff , especially Josh, went above and beyond to make our celebration for our 15 year old Granddaughter very special!
Food was delicious and well prepared. Wait staff was friendly and professional.
Romantic and inviting atmosphere. We have come many times as we love the food and overall qualities.
Fun experience with friends. The Fondue was awesome! Glad we tried it and will definitely go back!
love, love , love this place great for a romantic dinner, of just dinner with friends
It was our first time at Melting Pot as a family. We made reservations so we didn’t have to wait for a table since we have two younger kids. We got sat at the same time as another family who ended up getting all of their 3 out 4 courses in a hour and we sat for an hour waiting for our first course which finally came out and wasn’t what we ordered. We had reservations at 7 and didn’t end up leaving till almost 10. Probably won’t return and disappointed we spent as much as we did for a mediocre dinner.
The service was off and with fondue, the service needs to be on the money to make the meal enjoyable....this night not so much
Heard of the place but never have been there. Drove from out of town and was an excellent choice. It was our first time. The waiter was great in explaining all the details and instructions.
We had a lovely evening. Good food in a romantic setting.
Food was exciting and very tasteful... First time experience and we loved it! Service was a little slower to us than tables around us but we were in no hurry... Overall a fun place to eat!
We love The Melting Pot! The food is always consistently delicious with good service. It's tradition for me to take my sister for her birthday every year. It's more than just dinner, it's a dining experience. The pitchers of red sangria were awesome and they were a great price!
This is my friend and I favorite spot to eat. We always look forward to eating and drinking from their awesome menu.
Hostess was rude and dismissive. Service took entirely too long and food wasn’t worth the price.
Our waiter was the nicest waiter I have ever had, food was good, portion of meat was kind of small but you get a variety, it is on the more expensive side but it's worth it.
Oooohh! My baby girl got her cheese fix and more than that by the end of the night! She enjoyed the 4 courses and was happy with the exciting dessert that happened later! We always love the melting pot. Some people say “oh that place sucks and the food is too expensive-I don’t wanna pay that much to cook my own food. Ha! Grow up. Your own cooked food is the way YOU want it. You can change anything on the menu. Add this, take this away... Be open and have fun! It will spark your night and will let a fire happen later. Great for a date night! She loves her cheese.... I love my dessert.... we love the entree choices is the middle...extracurricular activities that happen laterare because of the melting pot and it’s great bar choices and staff! Kudos. Keep up the good work!
The worst part was the service. Server rushed us every time he came to our table. Rushed us to choose drinks, entrees, then cleared the table when we were not done and then would leave for very long periods of time. We were there almost 3 hours and our server was MIA most of the time!
And it is too expensive for what you get. Extremely mediocre for what they claim to be.
Cheese was delicious and dessert was good, too.
Overall, a disappointing dinner and we are in absolutely no rush to return.
Arrived at 6:30PM. They said the couldnt find our reservation. We showed them our confirmation and After 7:10pm, and watching 3 other couples walk in after us and seated, we were taken in the backend to a table (3x3) that had one seat with another small chair pulled up to it. We said this isn't what we expected and that we were going to leave, and leave we did. This is one of our favorite restaurants, but they definitely dropped the ball tonight.
Food was excellent as always however our service was not good. Our server had a terrible attitude and nothing was going to change it. We tried to joke and make small talk but that didn't work. This made an awkward experience.
We had an absolutely lovely time. Service was great and the food was delicious. I definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to go out.
Wait for seating was atleast 20 min even having a reservation
The building needs a remodel, it feels very dirty and unkept. The service was not very good, we felt like an after thought. The food was good, but our chocolate fondue was served cold and we had to figure out how to heat it up.
Great food, great service, great environment lead to a wonderful evening. We will return!
It was fine, however, we were there for a Birthday and did not receive the Chocolate covered strawberries for the birthday person. In fact, all of the coupons we had could not be used in that location. A little disappointing.
Fantastic all around. 0 complaints about food or service or atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I have been in many fondue places around the country and abroad. This was pretty bad
Loved our visit. We will return Our waiter was very helpful.Enjoyed everything he suggested.
