Our server, Killian, was amazing. She was very responsive to our needs, quite witty, and wonderful!
Food was fantastic as always. Manager checked in and was very warm and welcoming.
They brought us a special treat because it’s our anniversary!
Excelente place to share a special occasion.
I took my girlfriend here for dinner for her birthday. We’ve been before and it is always a very great experience and very delicious food. Only downfall I had to say was that I didn’t realize the chocolate strawberries were not included anymore, and the lobster was extra. I thought it was included in the total of the meal pricing. I did not realize this until I got the bill but I should have probably asked and paid closer attention. That was a little disappointing but the service was good and the food is very fantastic.
The Melting Pot is a great choice for a "special event" dinner. The 4 course meal will certainly fill you up and the pace (we took 3 hours for dinner) allows for time to visit and talk. My only complaints were that it was a bit noisy. The waiter worked very hard but was obviously hampered by a very busy bar (some of the drinks were slow to arrive) and a busy kitchen. The table malfunctioned briefly but the waiter noted the problem pretty quickly and fixed it easily.
Service was terrible. I thought at first it was because they were overbooked, but after our waiter informed us we were his only table—there was no excuse for the continued poor service. There was a hair in one of our salads, we had to wait a long time in between courses, we ended up having to order our own drinks/refills at the bar (and the bar staff was rather rude)—overall it was a terrible experience and a horrible first introduction to the melting pot for my two guests.
Realize this is an experience not just a meal but 4 hours is ridiculous
Have been there several times but this may have been the last
Table was not cleared off, had to change tables right off the bat. New table was dirty and sticky and we requested for it to be wiped down. Service was overall slow despite the restaurant not being busy. Food tasted very good as it has at other Melting Pots I have been to. I would still recommend the Melting Pot to friends and family; however, only on the basis that they NOT go to the Albuquerque Melting Pot!
Slow service, food is nothing to rave about and it’s ridiculously overpriced. Not worth it when you have to cook your own meat at the table. I was not aware that’s how it worked. I thought it was all fondue. The fondue was nothing special imo. My husband and I paid almost $120 for a very mediocre dinner that took 3 hrs total. Way too long.
Gr8 will go back again
Had a good time the staff was top notch. We where in lovers lane the only thing i did not like was im a big man and the table was a little tight and not a lot of leg room
We had an amazing experience. It was the first time we took our kids and we all enjoyed it. Our waiter, Joe, was awesome! He helped us with ordering and was so friendly! We will definitely be back and request Joe as our waiter!
My daughter went with 4 friends to celebrate her 18th birthday. Joel was outstanding and "a lot of fun" according to them
Our waiter was very attentive without being overwhelming. He brought us a bunch of extras, and service was quick and efficient. The food was good.
Love the environment and we were able to enjoy our meal and experience. EXCELLENT SERVICE and GREAT food.
Food was delicious as always but the staff made the experience perfect. They were all so attentive, friendly and seemed to enjoy working there.
We received almost no service. The chef came by after an hour, first person. Then two separate servers, but only got first course. The manager took our table then, but forgot to mention what was happening. I got the feeling that the service team, which there were a ton, had maybe a month of experience between them, and the manager was dick of babysitting.
I always love the melting pot, but our server was absolutely terrible. We were there almost 4 hours, she brought us the wrong cheese, forgot to take the rest of our order, said “I’ll be back with your salads” and then returned like 30 minutes later with “I didn’t take the rest of your order”. Slow to get drinks to us, and then brought the wrong chocolate. I was extremely bummed because it was the first time my boyfriend had ever been to a melting pot and I spent forever telling him how fun it is, and that the servers usually are super funny, etc. our server said “take a straw because f*** the sea turtles” and told us about how her boyfriend traded her dog for a tattoo. She admitted she shouldn’t be working in fine dining, and we definitely agreed. The food was good as always, but it was a bummer paying $165 for a meal that we had a terrible time at. I will never stop recommending The Melting Pot to people, but I seriously hope no one ever gets that waitress!
The food and server was great, I really enjoyed our sever Jared. However, I made reservations since last time I went for happy hour it was suggested it would be best to make reservations. I made reservations for 5:30 on a Friday made comments I would like a table in the bar area and would be joining for happy hour. When I arrived to the restaurant it was a huge deal on where I wanted to sit and they would need to speak to a manager. We were sat at a table I’ve sat at prior without making a reservation or someone having speak to a manager. The way the situation was handled was unnecessary. Very rude hostess and front staff.
The service was horrible. This is the 2nd time we've been to this Melting Pot in the past 5 months and both times the service was awful. We waited over 10 minutes for our server to greet us and another 20 minutes for our drink order. When my husband ordered a 2nd beer, we were half way through our cheese fondue. He still had not received the beer by the time we were finished with our desert. But when the check came, we were charged for the second beer. I'm not sure if I will return. What used to be my favorite restaurant is definitely not anymore. For the cost of the meal, one would expect better service.
wonderful food with careful peperation, good service
We always save going to this restaurant for a special occasion and our family especially enjoys the fun of dipping and not having to clean up afterward or preparing all the items ourselves. This is always a special treat and we are very happy with our experience. Maybe if you could have bigger napkins for children that cover their lap and chest that would be perfect! Dark chocolate isn't coming out of the dress.
First time to the melting pot to celebrate our Anniversary. Wonderful food and wonderful staff. We had the four course meal and everything was soo good. Our waiter was knowledgeable and very pleasant. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Only thing they could do better is have timers of some kind at the table. We did use our phones and their timer on the website.
Service was very slow
Bread choices different from classic baguette, that’d be simple correction to make. Still, overall a nice experience. Wine selection lacked appropriate German or Swiss oriented dry white wines like Gewürztraminer or Riesling wines. Not a deal killer but would be a nice addition. Not a food issue but only one handicap parking space in the lot outside.
It was alright. A place I would go if someone invited me, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go to it.
The Melting Pot is not just a meal, it's an experience. It never disappoints. I love taking my friends and loved ones there to celebrate milestones and events of all kinds. It's nice to have a quiet, intimate dinner to appreciate the people you're with and not have a lot of distraction.
Amazing as always. Great service and food. Favorite date night ever!!!!
Marvelous experience. Excellent service
I decided to book at Melting Pot to celebrate my anniversary. It was my first time at this restaurant and I love it. Our server was extremely helpful by helping us understand the menu. He suggested amazing dishes from the place. & even offered to take us pictures on our special day. I will definitely return to Melting Pot because of their delicious food and phenomenal customer service .
The food was fantastic! We enjoyed the local options as well. However, our service was painfully slow, and our meal took at least 45 minutes longer than necessary.
It’s really expensive, the food is good but you have to cook it yourself which defeats the entire purpose of going out to eat. Fondue, I get it ... but literally the only thing that came fully prepared was the salad, which wasn’t all that good. The service was great. Our waiter, Josh, was extremely helpful although he looked distractingly like Jean-Claude Van Damme. For a second I thought he might roundhouse kick us through the wall if we didn’t give him a good tip, which we did entirely out of intimidation.
I was so excited to go to the Melting Pot for my birthday, however, I left dissapointed. I was expecting a fancy restaurant but what I walked into was a glorified Village Inn. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be bothered w/us & they placed all 4 tables in the same hallway, why not split us up so we could experience a private ambiance, which MP is known for? The staff looked sloppy. For a restaurant trying so hard to be bougie, perhaps they could have their staff at least wear clean pressed clothes- with belts for the men so that their pants aren’t waiting for a chance to slip around their knees? The service was horribly slow- should we have finished at the same time as another table of four that came in an hour after us? I’m thinking not. I get that our server had a larger table (and a guaranteed 20% tip) at another table but he would’ve been surprised at the tip that would have been waiting for him had it not taken an hour to get the meat course. Some people have other priorities I suppose. He also may have been delighted w/his tip had he not insultingly insinuated that he would would figure out a way to make it economical for us, asking questions about a menu in a restaurant we’ve never been too does not mean we can’t afford it. The booth was incredibly uncomfortable, which could be because of our larger size, but we’ve been to restaurants that have spacious booths *cough cough Cheesecake Factory cough cough*. Unfortunately, my birthday did not have the special experience I was expecting. MP really let me down.
It was a nice experience for my Daughter’s Birthday 🎂 Our server was very nice, I believe her name was Brianna 👍❤️🎂
Food had no flavor. Price too high for the quality of food. I would not recommend family or friend ☹️ Sorry 😐
The cheese fondue was good although the fondue was gone long before all the bread, fruit and veggies were. The salad was drowned in a too sweet dressing. The meat course was okay, but not something I'd order again.
We love the melting pot for birthdays and celebrating. They were understaffed and made sure to let everyone know they had 9 people quit last week. Also they were out of wines, and foods. Again blamed it on people quitting. When you spend $200 on food you have to cook yourself you don’t want to feel like an inconvenience to the restaurant. Will be finding a new place to wine and dine for birthdays.
For a first time customer, the menu was confusing. The food was very fresh and tasty. I would have liked to have salt on the table.
The service was much slower this visit, especially for 2:30 pm and a nearly empty restaurant, but everything else was great as expected.
My husband and I went to the melting pot on a Friday evening after making a reservation through Open Table. We were seated on time and our waiter came to take our drink order quickly so we did not have a chance to review the menu yet. He agreed to come back in a few minutes; however, did not return for over 10 minutes. He forgot to bring our waters after speaking with him about it on two separate occasions, and we eventually asked someone else if they could bring us some water. We ordered the Mojo cooking style with our main course, and the waiter brought our pot with our meat items. We started cooking our meats (already in the pot) and he came back and said he forgot to make it to the correct style. He proceeded to dump a "flavor packet" on top of our meats cooking in the pot, and squeeze in some lemon/lime juice. This made everything cooking extremely saturated with the flavor and not pleasant to eat what so ever.
The menu prices are lower compared to the last time we ate at the Melting Pot which was a nice surprise and the reason I gave 3 stars.
This experience did not live up to the standards I have previously experiences at The Melting Pot.
Was great overall but took over 3 hrs to eat due to delays in the kitchen.
