Hostess was rude and dismissive. Service took entirely too long and food wasn’t worth the price.
Our waiter was the nicest waiter I have ever had, food was good, portion of meat was kind of small but you get a variety, it is on the more expensive side but it's worth it.
Oooohh! My baby girl got her cheese fix and more than that by the end of the night! She enjoyed the 4 courses and was happy with the exciting dessert that happened later! We always love the melting pot. Some people say “oh that place sucks and the food is too expensive-I don’t wanna pay that much to cook my own food. Ha! Grow up. Your own cooked food is the way YOU want it. You can change anything on the menu. Add this, take this away... Be open and have fun! It will spark your night and will let a fire happen later. Great for a date night! She loves her cheese.... I love my dessert.... we love the entree choices is the middle...extracurricular activities that happen laterare because of the melting pot and it’s great bar choices and staff! Kudos. Keep up the good work!
The worst part was the service. Server rushed us every time he came to our table. Rushed us to choose drinks, entrees, then cleared the table when we were not done and then would leave for very long periods of time. We were there almost 3 hours and our server was MIA most of the time!
And it is too expensive for what you get. Extremely mediocre for what they claim to be.
Cheese was delicious and dessert was good, too.
Overall, a disappointing dinner and we are in absolutely no rush to return.
Arrived at 6:30PM. They said the couldnt find our reservation. We showed them our confirmation and After 7:10pm, and watching 3 other couples walk in after us and seated, we were taken in the backend to a table (3x3) that had one seat with another small chair pulled up to it. We said this isn't what we expected and that we were going to leave, and leave we did. This is one of our favorite restaurants, but they definitely dropped the ball tonight.
Food was excellent as always however our service was not good. Our server had a terrible attitude and nothing was going to change it. We tried to joke and make small talk but that didn't work. This made an awkward experience.
We had an absolutely lovely time. Service was great and the food was delicious. I definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to go out.
Wait for seating was atleast 20 min even having a reservation
The building needs a remodel, it feels very dirty and unkept. The service was not very good, we felt like an after thought. The food was good, but our chocolate fondue was served cold and we had to figure out how to heat it up.
Great food, great service, great environment lead to a wonderful evening. We will return!
It was fine, however, we were there for a Birthday and did not receive the Chocolate covered strawberries for the birthday person. In fact, all of the coupons we had could not be used in that location. A little disappointing.
Fantastic all around. 0 complaints about food or service or atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I have been in many fondue places around the country and abroad. This was pretty bad
Loved our visit. We will return Our waiter was very helpful.Enjoyed everything he suggested.
5 star! Highly recommend!! Loved this place , so much fun.
The Melting Pot is good for special occasions. Especially for an intimate occasion. I've always had outstanding service at the Albuquerque location. The four course meal provides a lot of food, so go hungry.
It was a perfect BIRTHDAY lunch. James was great. And the barista was wonderful.
Thank you for a 1st time awesome experience. I will definitely be visiting location again in the near future
Birthday lunch, Very expensive, but worth it. If your worried about cost this place is not for you.
This was our first time dining here and we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The food and service were top notch and my wife was already planning for our next trip to come here even before we had left from dinner. We will certainly be back soon with family and friends.
I already sent this in response to Melting Pot's survey and invited them to contact me if they'd like to rectify the situation; since they didn't, I'll go ahead and leave the feedback.
When I go out and pay $60-80 per person for a dining experience, I have this wild and crazy notion that it will not include sitting next to someone who thinks it's appropriate to play Disney sing a long videos on a tablet at the table for their kids and, you know, singing along. Since that's apparently not the case for the Melting Pot anymore, I won't be going back there.
If that's the experience I'd wanted, I'd have gone to Chili's.
Our server (Garrett) also couldn't be bothered to heat up the last course for us, we were more or less left to our own devices with the ingredients cold and unstirred on the burners.
So, so unimpressed. If that stuff doesn't bother you and you're really jonesing for fondue, be my guest. If you're expecting value for the money, you may want to try somewhere else.
Had a nice birthday dinner at this restaurant. Good food and service, a unique dining experience.
The Melting Pot is a beautiful intimate restaurant fit for all special occassions. Creative dining options make it a memorable evening and the service is outstanding.
My son is turning 13, and this was his choice for his birthday meal. If it were up to him, he would have had the dessert only menu! I must admit, that was a fun course to consume! The food was prepared beautifully and very tasty. I enjoyed the cheese portions, very tasty and bountiful. He also had a fun drink "Sharkbite" (no alcohol) that was delivered with 'chum bucket' and all!
The food wasn't as good today as it normally is... the chocolate tasted almost like there were chemicals in it... the service wasn't great. The Melting Pot is usually amazing. I left disappointed this visit. It was defiantly NOT worth what I paid for it :-(
Honestly, if we had better service, our experience would have been better. We could hear the other servers being helpful and checking in with their tables, but our server was MIA. We waited excessive amounts of time for water refills, plates, and courses. We probably won’t visit this Meltinh Pot again, but we will visit others.
Came in with my family and they sat us next to a group meeting room. Food was mediocre. Garlic should be sautéd in butter before the wine is added. This was not the case this time, and the garlic was very bitter. The wine should have been cooked before the cheese was added. This was not done properly, either. Our server dumped it all in and then sprinkled nutmeg on top, rather than adding it to the melt. Nutmeg on top is strange and unappetizing; but we mixed it in and ate it because it's cheese, of course.
I felt like the waiter was attentive to us and he was very helpful with the menu, but he needed better training from his supervisor. No culinary skills and no understanding of what makes a good flavor. He brought the Coq a Vin out already put together (by someone in the kitchen?) and it was very good.
We had a reservation for a party of 7 and got seated in a separate room. Floor was dirty, it seemed it had not been cleaned after multiple seatings with food and crumbs all over floor. Table surface felt dirty as well. We visited for the experience than the actual food but for the high end prices we hoped to have found a cleaner establishment.
Tasty as always. We tried the cheese dipper and chocolate dipper additions. They were good.
Food was great but we constantly had to ask for refills on our tea.
