The Melting Pot - Ahwatukee
Great place and as always the food is always fun and delicious however our server left a lot to be desired
This is far from our first visit to the melting pot. We have been regular guest (5 times a year or so) for the past 14 years. Everything food wise and service wise was wonderful per usual. During the new check out process where the being the card reader to your table to take payment the waitress stand there while you do the whole process including the tipping. We had Katie and she was wonderful. I do tip off of service and don’t like someone standing over me while we pay the bill. Please change this as soon as possible. I was awkward and not a pleasant way to end our evening.
Food was incredible had the four courses and was a fantastic experience
Over priced expect more
Food quality was questionable
This was my Daughter’s Birthday dinner, and her first time here....she thoroughly Ethel whole experience!! We’ll be coming back for a dessert night!!
Server was fantastic and friendly, we had a four course meal. However, the food was horrible the quality of the food disappointing. The Atmosphere was embarrassing and outdated with a 70’s vibe. The music was horrid. We’ve always wanted to go to the Melting Pot for years... Not what we we’re hoping for... we’re big fans of fondue, but this place was the worst that I’ve ever been to. I predict that this place will be out of business soon.
The hostess and server were relatable and professional. Food was excellent. Price was quite high, but worth it for an anniversary.
I have been to this place several times and this is the first time that k was truly unsatisfied. The service was not good and definitely seems so much more expensive than other days. I always like to give a good tip, it’s the right thing to do. But I really dislike when the waiter puts its own percentage. Like can’t I choose?! Our dinner felt rushed and just not comfortable like past experiences. I took a few friends for the first time and they were not impressed.
The food and experience are unique and fun!
The server we had was great and just the right amount of attentive.
The service was extremely slow. It took 1 hour to even get our order and we were there 3.5 total hours. We were ready immediately to order but the service was not even to a mid level dining expectation. The place was not busy and we left with a below par experience and a $900 bill celebrating my daughters birthday with friends and close family. Not to mention it needs renovation and a good cleaning.
Celebrated our anniversary dinner and the quiet setting was perfect. Our server was very knowledgeable and made the experience even better. I would highly recommend!
Seated in the back room alone but melting pot should be an intimate booth did not like the room, service was good waitress was nice and attentive along with manager food was ok did not like 1 course but that my fault for what I ordered. The portion size and value is NOT here have been here a number of times and maybe they raised prices or I forgot I don’t mind spend $400 for meal if you get value spent $175 and got practically nothing and obviously the food is not cooked not trying to be stupid but food needs to be prepped in kitchen but your not paying large highly skilled kitchen staff as you would in normal restaurant value for what you get is just not there and food was ok but nothing great it is an experience that dollars don’t add up for that experience I would pay $200 for 3x the amount of food that received and be happy so it’s it’s not the overall dollar amount it’s what you get for the dollars spent

First time ever going so I can chalk that up to something new. However, let me start. Told them it was for an anniversary, we got sat at a general table when there was plenty of tables with curtains. Didn’t know they offered that so didn’t special request it, sometimes restaurants have the kindness to notice it’s a special occasion and ask (¯\_(ツ)_/¯). So sat at our table, the lights were intense. The person with me noticed as well. The lights were lower hanging over the table and really bright, so much for the romantic lighting.
The food ok is our first time there. Didn’t know how the place worked. Got the cheese and bread tray with fruit. That was good. Then learned we had to cook our own food. Ok no biggie. New experience let’s go. I guess I was a little sticker shocked. I am ok with paying for good food. I think the shock was the price and then learning I had to cook my own food. Listened to the instructions and went at it. I think the food was good but I do not thing the meat was $60 a plate good. Again, especially since I’m not cooking it.
Finally, the dessert. The creme brûlée white chocolate. I let my date get it even though I don’t like white chocolate. It wasn’t really creme brûlée to me, just warm whit chocolate. My date thought it was good but not amazing. But it was nice to know you can get refills on the items that go into the chocolate.
So overall, will I go back? Yes, but mainly for the appetizer and then a different dessert. The meal just didn’t do it for me. I also definitely won’t make it a romantic meal either.
I don’t remember our waiters name or nickname (fail on my part) but he was fun. More chatty and I was fine with that. I do feel sorry for him having to give the first time customer spiel. That was long and he had to do it multiple times. But he did have it well rehearsed.
Food was good although it was barely warm and typically it is hot at The Melting Pot. Fast and friendly service
It was very nice and was a treat for my boyfriend before he had to go back to his college.
Awesome New Year's Eve experience
Food was good, service good, restaurant was dusty and dirty
Our server was very accommodating and engaged. My birthday is 12/24 so availability has always been an issue, and there were some seating issues at the beginning, but I found the food and the service to be great overall.
Interesting experience and the booth was great and quite private. Food was good but it was Christmas Eve so we had a fixed price and actually it was quite a bit of food. I totally enjoyed the fondue experience.
Service was great, our server Sophia helped us through the process since we had never been before. Really wishing we would have picked A different cooking style. Not enough food in each course.... feel like we needed a second serving for both of us. We left full, but were hungry shortly after.
Celebrated my wife's birthday here, just the two of us. Had a wonderful private booth with curtains, and enjoyed great food and service. Well worth it! A terrific place to sit back and talk and enjoy a relaxed meal.
Very dissatisfied for have picking this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We spend over $650 and we had bad services from the start, to overall. I would love if I can actually speak to management because Because we were left with some concerns.
Birthday celebration? This is the place to go!
Great place for cozy private dining experience. Service was great and food was good and plentiful
The server (Austin) was outstanding, very friendly and informative, the only thing I would have liked a wine holder with ice to keep our white wine cool.
There were some billing issues going on at a table near by that were bothersome but overall it was an enjoyable delicious dinner.
Very cool personal experience with my significant other
Fantastic evening! Great service; will be back for sure :)
My family loves Melting Pot. We had great food and our waiter was fantastic!!
The food and experience was amazing, this was our first time dining at any Melting Pot ever. We were unsure about the menu, did not know if we ordered the cheese fondue, and entree at the same time, did not know if we had to get the same one, simple questions like that. We told our waiter that we wanted to do the four course experience and he said okay what cheese fondue would you like and then asked what entree and we told him and he never asked us what salad we want. Our salad never came, when we got the bill we were charged for a four course meal but only received the cheese, entree, and dessert fondue. Very poor waiting. Was not helpful either with the menu and rushed us to decide, did not tell us that we could order different meat entrees either.
Not bad, just overall not worth the price.
Our server Logan was amazing! It was our first time dining there, and we are definitely going to be going back!
Austin was unbelievable. Bummed we didn’t get a curtain booth
The food and decor are really a killer of the restaurant. It really needs a face lift and was kinda gross. Me and my girlfriend noticed a musky smell that bothered us the entire time.
The food really lacked passion. The food felt store bought especially the the beginning course. The bread was a bit stale and artificial.
For the price My girlfriend and I expected to be blown away. It was a let down because we could have gone to City Hall Steakhouse for the same price for food 10 times better.
They really need to rethink there prices and menu
Server was superb and very attentive. Made for a great time for our granddaughters first time.
Josh was our server it was very good Oh the first time they’re really didn’t know anything about it and he walked us right through it
We had our 2 year anniversary dinner there. It was amazing food was delicious and drinks were yummy. Can’t wait to go back.
Service was awesome! Chewy (server) brought a personalized touch to the already great experience.
Very well managed and excellent service!
Highly recommended for special occasions
As always, excellent. Drinks could have been a little stronger, like where I could actually tell there was alcohol in them. An example would be the espresso martini, should kind of take your breath away but more or less tasted like a latte. Only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars.
Love this place!! The food is always delicious. Serving staff is polite and we always feel welcome.
