Our diverse menu features tapas & paellas, artisan pizzas from our Italian wood-burning oven and fresh seafood just to name a few. We also feature a world-class wine, beer and spirits program beautifully complemented by our signature cocktails.
Perfect place for a graduation celebration - always a family favorite!
Gyros are better at Arby's, seriously. Lettuce in gyro was beyond wilted to rancid, a bit of tomato, a bit of sauce, and that's it. Fries were cold. Latte was luke warm at best. My husband did like his salmon appetizer. Service was slow awkward, and intrusive. Tables are close together and my husband and I couldn't hear each other talk. I don't know how this is a Boulder favorite.
Graduation time is busy.
The Med happy hour has great tapas, and reasonable drinks. The five of us were stuck in a corner that wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked, but overall, it was a good experience.
Great outdoor patio!
I always enjoy the food, atmosphere, and service here. The only thing I would suggest is they have the buyer look at the previous holiday request (mothers day) which also fell on cu graduation weekend and work with CU to find out graduating numbers so they can purchase enough commestables and not run out of basics or develope a special for the holiday that you can buy in a lot of inventiry that doesn't perish quickly...
Get there by 6:00 p.m. to order from the happy hour tapas menu before 6:30 p.m. It’s a taste of everything for about the cost of one full-priced meal. This is our favorite restaurant in Boulder, and the last few times we’ve been there, the service has been absolutely superb. Ask to be seated on the patio for even better ambiance and lower noise levels.
Love love love the tapas! We love to eat there as a family, and it is remarkably cost effective, and we all get to eat what we love, and we are stuffed afterwards! Personal favorites: hangar steak, roasted garlic, cheese plate, prosciutto plate, empanada, chicken skewer. Highly recommend! Find your own favorites!
Consistently good tapas, friendly service. We went for Mother’s Day dinner, with my mom and my two little boys. The staff are great with kids, our food was delicious and the ambiance was comfortable with families. The outdoor courtyard is a plus!
Wonderful Mother’s Day lunch on the patio. We had the Greek salad & panino is pesto, which were yummy, & my blood orange Bellini was the icing on the cake.
As always, Med has a great collection of Tapas and awesome Paella. Enjoyed the food and service.
If you get a chance sit on the patio as there is nothing like GREAT FOOD under the sun with a nice breeze
The tortilla tasted good, and was nicely prepared, but a dainty portion - and its sauce - was the only thing on the plate. Eh. Desserts were good also, but again, dainty portions. An over-reaction, I would say, to the eating-out public's complaint about portions being too large. Staff was pleasant and efficient without being patronizing. People-watching was good.
Honestly, having a 10 AM set up and four items on a Mother’s Day brunch special menu does not seem like breakfast to me. It was very strange that we really were eating lunch at 10 AM. My husband had pasta at 10 AM and I had a salad. The portion size for lunch a.k.a. breakfast was small but the price was high. I almost felt like we were inconveniencing our waitstaff. I’m pretty disappointed as I’ve always liked this restaurant and do not feel like I will ever go back.
Beautiful cozy restaurant on Walnut, my daughter's favorite. We've dined here every spring during our visits to CU. Our large family enjoys getting 8 or so tapas to share, along with a large paella and some wonderful wines. Service has always been good, and food is flavorful and fresh. Favorites include the beet tapas with goat cheese, bacon wrapped dates, and fresh arugula salad. A great spot for a large family like ours:)
Great tapas. Everything was delicious! Not a bad plate among them
We had a graduation dinner here and loved it ! Excellent service too.
An excellent location for our sons graduation celebration.
Delicious, fresh, flavorful food, with everything spiced just right! Fun atmosphere, and friendly waitstaff.
All excellent. Our favorite place to eat in Boulder. Something for everyone. Great value.
Excellent food and service
Amazing service and food was delicious!
Amazing food and service! Every time we visit Boulder, we eat at the med. This past time we had friends from California visiting and celebrated our daughter’s graduation. It was the best food so far! Cannot say enough good things. Thank you!
Horrible- they should be ashamed of themselves. Easily waited waited 10 minutes before server came to our table. I usually don’t comment about the portions- but they were ludacris. Ordered albondigas for an app/tapas. 3 mini meatballs- 1 inch in diameter served to us in a little dish that you use to serve butter in. Inexcusable presentation. The salmon- a main course- 3-4 oz tops. (I am a trained chef, graduate of culinary school, I know portions!) For the price they charged, not okay. The quality of the dishes eh at best. Left feeling ripped off for a subpar meal. We will NOT be returning and advise you to avoid. Their sister restaurant Brasserie Ten Ten soooo much better. Go there!
Tapas menu was good variety and everything delicious.
Great place to enjoy mid day food in between the
Lunch and Dinner busy hours .
We 3 persons sampled many items and enjoyed everything.
Favorites being polenta with lamb, spanakopita.
skirt steak with green sauce, tuna tartare,Yum yum!
Oh, and the olive bread, worth a trip just for the bread !
Will definitely be back to check out many options
we missed this first time.
Thanks ,Med , for our wonderful dining experience .
Very dependable spot to dine ....easy/validated parking, pleasant responsive staff..excellent food.
Fabulous spot for work lunch during the week - no wait, great service and food!
One of our favorite places, especially in warm weather. The Med has the best outdoor dining in town along with excellent food and very good service.
Great service and absolutely delicious meal!
The food is predictably good and prices are very reasonable. Probably louder than usual on Saturday night when 30 prom kids (very well behaved) filled an area next to us.
Tapas and sangria were delicious! I wouldn't recommend the paella, undercooked rice and lacking flavor.
Good food very noisy
Great pizza, lamb shank and potatoes. Excellent service
Food and service were great. Very hard to have a conversation as the restaurant was so loud. Great food though and a fun menu.
As Boulderites, we always enjoy meeting up with Denver friends at the Med! We’re glad we were there early in the evening as it’s quieter and we can hear each other. Happy Hour Food was, as usual, yummy, filling and reasonably priced. And I’d forgotten that I mentioned my husband’s birthday when making the reservation until our server brought out the birthday cake...a nice end to the evening.
The salmon special salad was the best...
our server was attentive and pleasant.
Thanks for a nice lunch.
Always my favorite. Dining here for 25+ years. Great food and drink, good service, and wonderful ambiance. I would recommend to all!
Great restaurant. The food is fantastic. One of my favorite places in Boulder.
Hmmm. Not sure if I’m just over the med or what. Tonight was just okay. Our server was ridiculously slow about everything. I also feel like the portion sizes have gone down as prices have gone up. It just isn’t the same as it used to be. Well... other than the options on the menu haven’t really changed in at least 15 years. (Lets be honest...judging from the very 90s uniforms of the staff, it’s probably been a lot more than that.)
Also, the space we were put in was so loud I couldn’t hear the other 2 people at my table.
