   Excellent meal with friends from the market menu. Tremendous value for 3 courses and all were great. Staff were lovely and all very attentive. No complaints at all. 2nd time there in a couple of months and will be back again. Thank you.

   The food was fine but our server was terrible. Felt like they instantly did not like our table before we even ordered a drink. Got ignored and left alone for too long (plates and empty drinks sat there for a long time before they were taken way) it wasn't a busy service. They attended empty tables before ours. Really disappointed and never want to return due to this.

    Lovely restaurant and bar. Staff are very helpful and very attentive. Food wasn’t the cheapest but quality was amazing. We went on the Thursday Chateaubriand night and it was cooked to perfection. I will go back

    Great service by all the staff, friendly and very customer service focused. Food was lovely, we got the Sunday roasts and they were amazing. Just wish there was more veggies with it but overall delicious.

    The McMillan is the best steakhouse in Glasgow for both quality and value! Yes there is lovely establishments and each offer great service and fine dining but the other top steakhouse competitors each have flaws for many reasons and the McMillan then comes into its own! The McMillan has a seperate bar in-house for before and after drinks, a private function suite, tables situated next to the restaurant bar which is vibrant and welcoming or should you be seated at the far side of the restaurant it is stylish and modern aswell as vibrant and socially energetic with the exciting scents and view of the kitchen! Loads of places in Glasgow are very good and some are exceptionally great for steak but nothing beats the McMillan in every aspect in fine dining and service. Highly recommend that any steak lover tries it and will in future go nowhere else!

    Our family tried this for the 1st time yesterday and it was outstanding! From the minute we sat down till we left it was an amazing experience, we think this is a hidden gem in Glasgow and definitely will be back for more

    We were seated in the bar area as this was the only tables left, I was bit unsure at first however when we arrived the seating was perfect! It was not a rowdy bar area by any means and dining in this area was not a problem at all. Service overall was excellent - cannot fault it at all. Our mains were a fillet & the chicken with haggis and we ordered sides. Overall the food was excellent I couldn’t fault anything on my plate (I like my peppercorn sauce a little more peppery but that is preference). The only feedback I would like to given with my dish was the chicken and haggis dish said it came with mash (they were brilliant) and carrots. Now I could have totally misread this but when the dish came it was a carrot purée which if I had known I would have ordered a side of veg but anytime I’ve had a dish like this in the past it’s always came with veg and not having to pay to have this separate. The carrot purée in my opinion did absolutely nothing for the dish. There was one haggis ball, I love the haggis and chicken combo so with a full breast one haggis ball wasn’t enough for me again this could be preference but it meant everything on my plate I spent the majority of my spoonfuls eating chicken and mash as there wasn’t any veg or enough haggis. I ordered the chicken and haggis combo expecting veg for a variety on my plate not expecting to be expecting to be eating chicken and mash. But I can’t complain about the food itself each item the chicken the mash the steak etc were of good quality. The sides were good. Initially on the picture I was a blue cheese sauce in error with my dish instead of the peppercorn sauce but this was rectified as soon as I highlighted this.

    Love this restaurant. We have been many times and the steak is really good quality and is always perfectly cooked. The sticky toffee pudding is a must too! Great value lunch/early evening menu.

    Very happy with the service, we all ordered steak and chips which we all enjoyed. The only fault was that there was no salad or coleslaw with the steak and chips which would have made the plate look more presentable.

    Went here on Saturday night first of all got taken to our table but it took us to ask for menus which isn’t right The food was really good but I felt some if the staff to be rude and not very helpful They walked by your table a lot but never made any eye contact or asked if there was anything you need There was one waitress who was very nice but the rest where so unprofessional for such a nice restaurant Think this would put me off going back

    Had a lovely post Christmas lunch with my mum and aunt on a quiet wet Monday. Always a friendly welcome, very good service from all staff and delicious food. In fact generous portions for a lunch menu. It was quiet with only a couple of other tables in use but with the laid back music it made for a nice long relaxing lunch for us all to catch up after the festive season, with no one trying to rush us out the door.
