Traditional country thatched pub serving award winning meals. Open all year with AA 4 gold star rated groundfloor rooms, bespoke Shepherds Hut and certificated campsite overlooking open fields. Dog friendly with an enclosed exercise paddock, water bowl by the back door and treats on the bar!
A pretty beer garden at the back is perfect for al fresco dining in the warmer months and it has a thatched seating area with a heater and blankets for those chillier evenings.

We stayed one night on the campsite all the staff made us feel welcome, even chatted to the lovely cleaning ladies. The chef adapted our food choice with a limited menu available, perfect. Great pub & bar staff were fun & efficient, we will be back!

I booked up to stay for a night and wow what an absolutely beautiful place, amazing and friendly staff that catered to our every need, nothing was ever too much, service always with a smile, the food was out of this world the place itself was stunning, I stayed in the shepherds hut for a night and I will totally recommend it to anyone the best nights sleep ever,, everything about the masons Arms was so very clean, the shower blocks are probably the cleanest I’ve ever seen, such a beautiful and friendly place will definitely be returning

Lovely meal and very friendly and polite service. Not much atmosphere as it was a quiet evening but this suited us perfectly

The menu was very limited and for people with food intolerances there is not much to choose from, ice cream very expensive ( I could have bought a two litre tub of ice cream and had change for what I paid). Staff lovely and the pub is a lovely dog friendly place.

The customer service was excellent, the staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband had the Caesar salad, he missed not having a few anchovies and also thought the Caesar dressing was a bit bland. I had the halloumi which was delicious, although a few more cherry tomatoes would have been nice. Just a couple of things with the food was lacking, hence the rating.

I’m sorry to say I find the Masons Arms not a very well run pub because it closes too early at 10:00 pm which I don’t like much as most pubs throughout the country stay open later so why should the Masons Arms be any different?
