The Mash House Brewing Company
Had a large group with two small children and they took very
Good care of all of ua
We enjoyed ourself.
Appetizers and dessert were good. Main course (steaks) were underwhelming to say the least.
The steaks were over seasoned to compensate for the low quality of meat. The food is advertised as made from scratch daily but everything tasted frozen. I ordered the bone in ribeye MR the first try it was rare and the second try half the steak was well done and the other half was still rare. For a $40 dollar steak this was unacceptable. Then my wife and I had to talk our way into the plate being taken off of our check and we left feeling like we did something wrong in being served bad food. Would not recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a nice steak. Texas Roadhouse is better and that is a sad thing. For beers and bar food it’s probably fine.
Always a nice place for dinner. Good menu selections that are prepared very well. Staff is friendly and fairly knowledgeable about beer selections if you have questions. Patriots pale ale is my favorite!
Do you want a steak and your partner want pub food? The Mash House is for you. Good food, good beer, and friendly attentive wait staff. The dining room is looks very posh, but don't worry about dressing up; I saw plenty of flip-flops, shorts, and ball caps.
We have been before but this time left us disappointed. Simple things like the sweet potato side was dried out, broccoli just had barely melted butter poured right on top and the Chardonnay selections (2) did not taste well.
Second visit. Looking forward to our third. Great service, food and beverages
Waitress LaLa was super. Food was delicious and really enjoyed the dining there.would definitely recommend and come again when in Fayetteville.
The waitress was very informative about the mini-beer testers. Food came out quick an taste was sensational.
The reservation went smoothly and we sat immediately. Food was Amazing!
I used to love the Mash House when I lived in Fayetteville. When we were driving through on our way to Florida we made it a point to stop there. The food is great, I highly recommend a good steak while there.
Very good bier, outstanding food and meet. Very recommended
This was my family's first time going to the Mash House and it was delicious! We were all very pleased with everything. Great customer service and a great meal, no complaints.
Our waitress Chris was excellent, My wife and I enjoyed the Mash House and will be returning soon.
The fish and chips were a bit greasy, the nachos were great!
I love the relax feeling of the restaurant. The food is tasty and the service is excellent. I will definitely return and try other dishes
Great as always. Food is amazing, as well as the service. I cannot say enough about our server Teresa. We’ve now had the pleasure of having her twice and will definitely request to sit in her section in the future.
The food wasn’t worth the price because the flavor was off for the ribs .. It tasted too vinegary, the mash potato and broccoli had no seasoning at all very blend.. The prime rib was ok.. but the sauce that went with it was bland..
Quez was a good waiter.. He explained the beer selection and wine selections..
I’m not saying we won’t return.. but it will be a while before we come back.. Because we love to explore different places to eat and this was our first time.
It took 15 min for someone to come up front, eveyone kept walking buy us. Then I felt it was a problem because we were 15 min early for our reservation. There was open tables everywhere. The lady that took our order was great! But the food was the worst food I have ever had, it was such a waist of money. Will never go back.
Based off the recent visit, I would not recommend to friends. My wife and I enjoyed this place a couple times during my last tour here. We thought we would try again.
The place seemed very loud. Maybe due to a couple large parties.
The service was decent once a second waitress decided to help keep our drinks refilled.
Our biggest complaints come from the food and the value of it. With one soda and a water, our tab came to $72. My wife ordered prime rib which she enjoyed, but both of her sides were not good. The garlic mash was a tiny perfectly rounded scoop or plain tasting potatoes that had nearly no flavor. Her asparagus tasted charred and nearly like charcoal. I passed on the $33 daily “special” of NY Strip and scallops with a chipotle cream sauce once I saw that the regular menu price for steak and scallops was only $32. I decided to go with a ribeye and scallops since I didn’t want the sauce. I ordered the steak medium rare. And it came out absolutely SMOTHERED in some kind of white buttery, creamy, garlicky sauce that my waitress couldn’t identify and tell me what it was. I decided to just roll with it and give it a try. It was over whelming. I could only muster to eat half of the edible portion of the steak after removing several large fatty areas and a piece of unchewable gristle. Not to mention the steak was rare at best in some areas. The center I wouldn’t even consider cooked to rare temp. The mystery sauce that drowned my plate left my mouth feeling covered in a layer of garlicky fat that I was barely able to keep down one we left the restaurant. My fried green tomato side was also very under seasoned. No salt it seemed at all.
All in all I feel like the quality has gone down hill since my visit a few years back. The place stays packed, i don’t know if from their history, the current quality, or just from people that like all their beer offerings.
I definitely do not currently recommend unless you are going for the drinks.
Another fantastic experience at the mash house. $2 half pints and great prime rib headlined this visit but everything was fantastic as usual. Go-to spot in Fayetteville for any beef/pork dishes.
We love The Mash House. The crab dip is a must try! The drinks are a pretty good price, I think, with the option to sample which I love! We’ve never had bad service any time we’ve gone, and even on father’s day they were fast and efficient
Some of the best prime rib that I have ever had!! If you’re not a drinker, try their root beer; it is delicious!! You will love your time at the Mash House. There are several private areas for larger parties.
Eat here at least once a month. All of the steaks are excellent, can also recommend the Bison burger.
We were greeted and immediately shown to our table. The wait staff was prompt, friendly and very courteous.
The Mash House has been a favorite of mine for many years. There are few places in Fayetteville that have stood the test of time in maintaining quality and service. My family was impressed. There were many positive remarks on how fresh the food was, the openness of the restaurant, and the thoughtfulness of our server. Everyone in my party left with happy bellies, and yours will too.
Steak salad was awesome. Wheat beer cold and refreshing. Burgers were great.
I went here with a large group and had a great time. The service was excellent and our meals delivered hot and as ordered. For a big group that is a feat.
We are never disappointed when we eat at the Mash House. Awesome food!
Great service and food!
Beers were very good. Picked two meals that were fan favorites. Average taste. Would try again. Some southern plates that passed by our table looked good.
Service (Nikki) was excellent. Quick and consistent. Food was good. Beer selection is great.
This is still our go-to place for date night. I do hope they bring back the wedge salad though.
Frozen, bland, overcooked food at a ridiculously overpriced fee. Waitress came to take our orders & bring food. Had to get management to replace the bad salmon oscar, terrible fishy smell meaning it was out of date. After I ended up getting a sandwich with fries, fries were so brown and burnt I couldn't eat them. Manager looked at them & said 'yeah, we have a new guy on the fries'. We sat there with no refills on our drinks the entire time. We had to physically hunt down a manager to get our bill after sitting there for almost an hour waiting on that. Definitely wont be back.
The only complaint I have is that the steak my boyfriend ordered was suppose to be cooked medium and it definitely came out rare and almost bloody. He wasn't that concerned and didn't make a fuss about it. Overall the beer is good and so was the service. We will definitely go back despite that inconvenience.
Marilyn was GREAT as always! And the spareribs were perfect. Loved the colcannon.
Wonderful service, good food. However, a difficult setting if anyone is hard of hearing.
Steak and Meatloaf were the best that our family has ever had. It was a great spot to reunite as a family and have a delicious meal!
