i have been eating here since it opened in 1998, usually once a month and never failed to disappoint never!!
Food was good wish there was more variety on the menu but what they did have was enjoyable
Service was top notch, drinks were wonderful our food came out fast and everything except the whipped cream served with 2 of our desserts was also great. We informed the waitress of the bad whipped cream immediately & we do hope no one else was served any. We had a toddler and the waitress was sure his food came out before ours as soon as it was ready.
This was our first time at the restaurant. Our server Dom was amazing! I tried the Georgia peach martini and my husband had one of their hand crafted beers. The bartender was great with recommendations! Overall it was probably the best experience we have had at a restaurant!
This was our first time at Mash House and it was excellent. The food was fantastic and our service was top notch. I highly recommend their poutine with pulled pork and bacon added to it for an appetizer, but be warned it is HUGE. Aside from brewing their own beer, they also make their own root beer. Both were great. Literally the only complaint I have is that I don't care for their three-pronged forks. It made it overly difficult to pick up some foods. I will definitely be back!
Good solid service and food. A good atmosphere for lunch with a friend.
The kitchen was super backed up and food took a long time to come out. The server had limited experience but I typically enjoy the Mash house.
Overpriced for quality of food. Flatbread not cooked enough and burgers overpriced $17. Calamari was fresh though...
The food has always been delicious, but the dessert just takes it to another level of yummm. The chef’s specialty cheesecakes are consistently amazing!
Very nice environment. Great service. Mash house is at the top of our list for great food and entertainment. The Staff was eager to service.
The service was excellent and the service was awesome. I recommend reservations and I know you will enjoy it.
Wonderful experience! Highly recommend! The beer is tasty!
The Food was cold. My wife had to tell them to take it back. The service was slow and had to ask for certain items more than once.
The service was great and we enjoyed the food, but the ambiance of the restaurant left us cold. The website makes it look much more fun than it was in person. We sat in the main dining room and wish we could have sat in the bar area that gives off much more of a brewery feel.
Great place to eat, along with great service!!!!!!
The beer and drinks were good. The food left a lot to be desired. We had a party of eight and are foos came to the table at different times. Three people had burgers and the bottom buns were cold and soggy. The flatbread ordered was also soggy. The people that had French fries said they were cold and some were raw. Overall, not a good food experience at all. We will not be returning any time soon.
Visiting my son who is in the Army at Ft Bragg
Very good food and drinks every time! Definitely recommend for a date night or even to watch a big game. Sports bar atmosphere but also a great place to unwind.
Made a reservation at the bar on Open Table for 7pm. When I arrived I was told they do not take reservations for the bar and it was a 45 minute wait.
I had a 8:00pm reservation and didn’t get seated until 8:40. Neither me nor my husbands steak was cook properly nor did they have any flavor. They tried to charge me $4 extra for my food and only took it off because I noticed it when I got the $113.00 bill for two people. We asked for the manager and he looked at our table several times but never came. I love good food and do not mind paying a decent price if it’s worth it, but I would’ve been better off eating at McDonalds and flushing the other $100 down the toilet.
Normally this place is great but our last visit was not good to say the least. The meatloaf was burned, the fried green tomatoes were not good and the cocktails were just okay. I hadn't been there in months due to COVID and I won't be going back any time soon.
Sign at the front door, “Must wear mask covering both mouth and nose before crossing threshold”. It would have been nice if our server followed those same rules they have for the patrons. Not only was our server walking around the entire time with her mask below her nose. (The only server doing it from what I could see), she also pulled it down completely ever single time she came to our table to speak to us. That pretty much defeats the entire purpose of wearing the mask to begin with. I would have said something, because it was quite bothersome, but I didn’t want to cause a scene with my daughter out with me.
A great place to dine for couples or family. You get the value for money.
The food was great and the service was exceptional. Drink selection was fantastic.
Great food and service
Food was awesome - ribs and the open faced turkey were great! My husband loved the beers - and for me, they had a wonderful wine selection as well. So glad we stopped in!!
Everything was great. Fast service, good portion sizes. My filet was somewhere in between rare/medium rare so a little more pink than I’d typically order but was still good
We went for our 20th anniversary. It was the first time in quite a while since we have sat down to eat in the restaurant area. Generally, we go Sundays to watch games and enjoy their Wonderful Appetizers and craft brewed beers. Their selection is Amazing!
The Manager, Donnie Marley, and server, Abbi, took Excellent care of us! We had a Wonderful meal; my wife had the French Dip and I had the Seafood Pasta and it was Truly Awesome!
I Highly Recommend eating there, enjoy the food, service and friendly staff for special occasions or just to relax and eat.
I ordered the Jambalaya with cheese grits. It was delicious and I'd would eat it again. My husband's ribeye was grilled medium rare as requested. Excellent flavor and tenderness.
Our server was delightful...attentive without being over-bearing.
Why does NC have the silly rule that I could not have a beer and a glass of wine served at the same time? Most enjoyable Sunday evening.
The shrimp and grits platter was too salty and gritty. Not as good as I recall it being before.
Did a great job with service and tables were nicely separate so no concerns.
Quite happy overall.
This was our second visit to The Mash House. The service and food was great, it is a little pricey but well worth the price.
Values seems to be the biggest issue here. The food was good. Service was solid. Was everything worth the prices. Not so sure.
Everything was amazing, from the food and beer to the service. The restaurant was very clean and practiced safe procedures for Covid-19. I cant wait to go back!
I have eaten there before and have always enjoyed my meal.
Getting a meal on the road can be disappointing so my expectations are usually low but we had an excellent meal: calamari, salmon and burger. Very good red wine.....in a brew house no less. Good for them. Our server, Alex was the best!!!
I am a fan of the salmon and cheese grits. Mash house at times can be a little slow so don’t go there if time is important. But the food is great and the atmosphere is relaxing.
My wife and I had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Our waitress was on top of things and extremely nice. This was our first time dining her but will certainly not be the last.
So, we opted to have a dinner out. Arrived a few minutes late but called to inform them- no issue. Seated....in a two seater table, it became apparent that lighting was not well thought out...too bright like a spot light looking down. I asked to be moved to a table of four or another place, hostess indicated it was for only four people. Offering a jammed 2 seater, I figured we'd make due. My guest shifted her to to a more convenient placing at our table with less intensive light...they were happy. The manager said they couldn't sit there. We explained (waitress was mediating because manager was too busy) we wanted a less spot light beaming down. Front desk said we couldn't sit there....so, finally we were reseated and dinner went without a hitch. Waitress saved the evening. Chicken was Luke warm...grits good. It was a simple fix...with some help and kindness....would have been a none issue. Waitress was exceptional and driven to deliver service. She gets huge praise. Food and ambiance....average.
Ribs, burger and beer were great! Found it randomly in 2016 when I was here last time, and found it randomly again in 2021. Great both times, but now that I'm local I'll be back many more times!
