Awesome experience for brunch with me and my wife. Fantastic food!
This was by far one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. The dining area is romantic and intimate but would also be comfortable for a group of friends.
The uniquely crafted cocktails were on point, and the food was superb.
Presentation and timing of appetizers, drinks and entrees was wonderful. Everything was cooked to perfection with great local flavor. Truly a great dining experience and we will be going back time and time again.
Awesome food! Amazing service. Would highly recommend this restaurant as a must visit in Asheville!
The server was great and attentive, the wine selection was nice and the 2 entrees we ordered were perfect.
Food and service was excellent. We split several of the small plates and they were all great.
excellent brunch menu, great food and lovely service
It's hard to make food that bad. Everything we had looked ok, but completely lacked any flavor, like they didn't have seasonings or spices. It was bizarrely bland. I would not recommend and would not eat there again.
Very friendly staff, attended to us very well. Street parking nearby and lots of little shops to walk to.
Lovely evening with friends. Great small plates to share. Get the beet terrine. Sublime.
Great atmosphere. Great servers. Nice wine choice, and the trout was cooked to perfection.
The staff was friendly, attentive and knew their menu. The food and drinks were delicious and arrived quickly. The brunch menu had something for everyone's taste.
We were visiting from Ohio and gave it a try. It was a wow experience! The food was absolutely fantastic - we left comfortably full and enjoyed a fantastic meal. Definitely recommend.
My wife had the rack of lamb and I had the scallops, off the pre fixe Valentine's Day special. It was very good.
Our annual Valentine's location. Wonderful as always.
25 Anniversary
Fun time! Great food
Some of the best mussels I’ve ever had!
Service was great, incredibly nice staff. However the worst steak I have ever eaten. Full of gristle, literally hard to chew. For 40$ you would expect a decent strip steak. Drinks were on par but not great. Truffle fries were good and the best thing we ordered.
Very nice dinner for our special occasion!
We thoroughly enjoyed our celebratory brunch, it was a rare treat for a group of fellow Asheville service industry folks. We appreciate the professional, yet no nonsense response to people who don't respect the reservation and COVID policy/protocols.
Our meals and cocktails were delicious and our server was attentive and fun, which made for an excellent dining experience. We will be back for more, you all are doing it right in these trying times.
We were thrilled to find this place and get a reservation for brunch. Would definitely recommend it and next time we are in Asheville we will definitely try dinner here.
The sausage gravy, bacon and coffee were really great. The jalapeño biscuit was phenomenal. The cinnamon roll was meh. The server was hustling to manage her tables but she was fantastic. Would recommend and will come back for dinner on our next trip.
Best biscuits and gravy ever!
Service and food at Market Place were phenomenal.
The food was really good but just a little pricy.
We had a delicious dinner. Vanessa was a wonderful server. I throughly enjoyed the duck & pasta entree. My friend loved the fresh trout and truffle fries.
Safely distanced from other diners.
This was our third time to the rest,so luckily we knew to make a reservation in advance. The one thing that bothered me was that a party of 4 that was seated after us without a reservation somehow got their food before us, a party of 2. We did not order anything complicated either. Other than that I was happy with my meal as usual. The breakfast potatoes and bacon had a very smoky flavor this time which was fine for me, but could have been too intense for others. I won't order the jalapeño grits again. I didn't think they were that good. The biscuits were to die for though.
Love market place open safe nice food good drinks and service
Just glad to go out safely have a nice time
as always, truly outstanding food and service and atmosphere.... felt totally safe in COVID environment...... best restaurant in Asheville, and I think in the entire state.... well done..
This place was a nice surprise find!! Most places with brunch were an hour plus wait. When we happened upon Marketplace we weren’t sure what to expect but we’re blown away. All the food was delicious and fresh! We love that they partner with local farms. The ambience is very asheville and will be on my busy-go list from now on.
Delicious brunch! Brought the kids and we all enjoyed it!
Loved everything about the restaurant. Food and service were excellent. We are from Raleigh but now have access to a vacation home in Maggie Valley. We will be eating here a lot! Thank you!
By far our favorite dining experience while in Asheville- our first visit to the city. Everything was unique - appetizers, entree, dessert and drinks. The server was knowledgeable and fun. We loved the location and atmosphere!
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Visited here on recommendation of a fam member and enjoyed it!
The food, service, and wine selection were top notch! Definitely a great place to go for a special occasion or celebratory dinner.
The food was excellent, the service was OK with one notable exception. I asked the waiter which of the $48 bottles of Pinot Noir he would recommend. He recommended the Willamette Valley one. When I got the bill, I had been charged for a $60.00 bottle. I asked for the wine list to check. He said that I had ordered the $60.00 bottle, listed below the other two. When I explained that that was not true, he walked away in a huff. Another man, who I assumed was a manager adjusted my bill by $12.00. It put a cloud over what had been an otherwise nice dining experience. I recommended to the manager that he fire the waiter.
Very goos restaurant nice drinks vgood food
Nice night out
Amazing! Great appetizers, main courses, and desserts! Can’t wait to go back!
Was there for my birthday. Great service attentive but not overbearing, but that was the highlight. May be it’s CVID-19. But I ordered a $40 steak that was awful cold a very hard cut of meat and for being locally sourced lacked any flavour. My company had their handmade pasta & it was fine, better than my steak but nothing special. For a place that prides itself on being farm to table may be the chef was at the farm at the time rather than kitchen? We will never know. Hopefully this was because it was a slow Sunday evening but nonetheless quality and price so not match.
Food was terrible. Worst steak I have ever eaten. That says a lot. They took
It off my bill with out me asking, service was excellent and friendly.
