Crab cake over sautéed. Lobster bisque had very little flavor. Great dessert and cappuccino. Nice menu. Great service.

Comfortable environment with excellent service. The food was outstanding starting with Crab Bisque followed by NC Snapper. A fine meal and lovely evening.

The food was outstanding as usual, but the service was rushed at first and then slow, erratic overall. We consider ourselves to be regular customers here and we had one of our favorite servers. But we did not feel welcomed that night from the time we walked into the door. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and the restaurant had been informed of such, but they seemed not to care in their service for our table of five. Because there were gifts presented, they seemed irritated to have to deal with that interruption. And they didn't deal with it. They just went right along with their service, not noticing what was going on at our table. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, not busy, with only one other 4 top table seated later and which they seated right next to us. We purposefully came very early when the restaurant opened so we wouldn't be in a crowded room when we wanted to reminisce and open a couple of gifts and so we wouldn't impact the service for ourselves or others. They left the bottle of wine we ordered on the brick fireplace and did not pour more than once, so we did not see the bottle until leaving when it was knocked over and spilt. Our children were very disappointed in the evening they planned for us, particularly because this was the restaurant we said we wanted to go to!

Highly rated restaurant and the food was as promised. However, the maître d and server was brusque and rude. We would ask for something and he would walk away instantly and left us wondering if he heard. He did hear and fulfill our needs, but he was obviously put out that we were there and kept pushing both food and order choices at us. Amazingly as we were one of the two last tables left before closing, he summarily turned the lights up bright.

The food was fine dining, the price was accordingly, but it might as well been a lousy McDonalds for service and the rude treatment. Shame on the restaurant for allowing this.

When the chef can prepare food up to the level her bartender can make a cocktail, then the prices she charges will be justified.

One of the best meals I've ever had in my life. The chef/owner, Robin Upson, offers an incredible array of amazing dishes from her kitchen. Our server had the entire menu memorized, and offered terrific guidance and suggestions throughout the meal. From the fresh-baked bread, to the truffle-flour gnocchi (out of this world!), all the way through dessert - everything was spectacular!

Outstanding job for Robin and her staff. The worst part is having to decide what not to eat, because it all sounds so wonderful and I haven’t been disappointed yet.
