Seated at reservation time. Food came out and my steak was raw. Sent back and it was better. My food was okay.

Excellent food with exquisite drinks, served by friendly professionals. Who needs more? Five stars all the way!

My guest and I both had the Mediterranean Walleye, drawn butter, the clam chowder and hash browns with Old Fashions, How could it get better?
Best Walleye I have had since a shore lunch in Canada.

Our second visit was disappointing. Our server was not helpful compared to the other servers around us who we overheard giving full descriptions of the specials. The food was mediocre compared to our first visit-the white fish fillet was quite bony and the seasoning pretty tame for a "Rajin Cajin whitefish".

Our first visit was different- the fish fingers, new england chowder, hash browns, and shrimp were well prepared and excellent. The service was outstanding.

Probably won't go back

Wonderful food and drinks served elegantly and with great aplomb. Couldn’t have been more perfect!

We were celebrating a birthday and made note of when when we made our online reservation. We noticed our server and other servers were asking their tables if they were celebrating a special occasion, however our server failed to ask us --quite disappointing. Our server seemed to have too many tables as he seemed rushed when he went through the specials as well as taking our orders. We had to ask twice for a drink. The bone in rib eye was nice size, but quite a bit of fat (we noticed this at the table next to us as well). Also, it was ordered medium rare, but came rare. Have had better steaks and more reasonably priced restaurants. If we go back next time, would have the shrimp as that was very good.

Food was fabulous! We all chose from the special Anniversary menu. My steak was perfect and the chocolate mousse for desert was amazing!

It was our first time at the Mariner's, and it was beyond impressive!! From being greeted by Jack at the door, his friendly personality, our table looking out over the water, our friendly waitress, our awesome meal, all so impressive!! Yes, we will be back for another great meal and great atmosphere!!

Excellent dinner at Mariner's Inn. We haven't been there in ages. Wonderful view of the water with the Canadian Geese and Mallard ducks outside. The salads and soups were tasty. The steaks were grilled to perfection! The lobster tail to go with the steak was delicious. The warm rolls right out of the oven with the melting butter. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Our only disappointment, we were too full for dessert. Maybe next time. We will be back.

We were taking a morning flight out of Madison and found this awesome place the night before. We will be back. The steaks were great! I seldom say this because as a family we have grown fairly choosy on steaks. The bar was a friendly during our short wait. Talked to the owner. Go here!

The steak was so tender and had very good flavor. Enjoyed the crab and bechemal on top of the steak.

The service was good and the food was good. But it was way overpriced and the portions were small. It's definitely more of a casual atmosphere than I was expecting. Beautiful view and very cool interior.

We went for fish on a Friday night. Great food and service! Three of the four of us had prawns; so large they were like small lobsters, served in 4 halves. Delicious and buttery! The fourth had salmon. Very good. Upgraded the vegetable to asparagus, which was tender and buttery. Great service, perfect pace of the meal, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Love the Mariner's. One of my favorite dining places. Food was excellent; service was great; Price was reasonable.

Had one of the best meals I've ever had at the Mariner's when my wife and I went for the first time. As someone who is not a big fan of fish I was amazed at how great the Cajun Walleye was. I don't mind paying a little extra money as long as the food delivers and it did quite well. Everything else from the cheese curds to the hash browns were just as excellent. The setting and service were very good, with the only small thing I could say was that I would have loved some more of the bread that they apparently bake to order, which was VERY good. I don't know if it is custom for just one basket per table or if you have to request seconds. Overall, while it may be a little more expensive, it is definitely worth the price if they maintain the quality every time that we enjoyed.

Visited for an 8pm reservation on a Friday night, and was surprisingly quiet. Great bar service, great cocktails, friendly and attentive wait staff. Would highly recommend the mushroom appetizers, and jumbo shrimp. Steaks were good, but Bearnaise sauce was very heavy/rich and overpowered the steak, so would advise to get it on the side. Overall a very good experience and look forward to another visit.

We had an excellent server. He knew the menu and the options very well and the pace of the meal was perfect.

Not the first time I've been to the Mariners Inn, food was good as usual, but the drink were outrageously priced. It was Valentines Day, and they seemed to tighten up the reservations, we seemed very rushed. The waitress was at our table immediately after serving our drinks, looking for our order, and our food was served in less than 15 minutes.

We were there for Valentines Day and the food was excellent and the service was too. Would highly recommend.

Everything was perfect in every way. I can’t wait to go back.

Very good food overall—had a knowledgable server and the restaurant was very clean and drinks were superb! Had to mention it was our anniversary (was noted on our reservation) but the waitress brought a complimentary slice of key lime pie which was delicious. We hope to return in the summer months!

We had a birthday celebration with 7 people. We had a nice place in the bar area where the bartender and waitress were very attentive. We had a nice table with great views of the falling snow outside during our dinner. Our waitress was very busy but made sure we were tended to and was very timely and always with a smile. When food came it was hot and delicious! That can be difficult when your busy and have a loud party to tend to(thanks Renee). All 7 in our group were very impressed and happy with our meals. We all had different steaks, crab cakes, lobster with salad and or soup. We also shared a death by chocolate cake....Well done Mariner staff! We will be back.

The décor is very fitting to the name of the establishment. The menu choice is varied enough for many differing tastes for sure! The steaks were prepared correctly and the side dishes well prepared and presented as well. I would recommend this place to anyone one. It's not Fazoli's cheap but hopefully no one is expecting that from a supper club.

Although I had made the original reservation for two, friends joined us and the lovely staff accommodated the change. Our writer was attentive and everyone’s food was great! It’s our favorite restaurant and has been a go-to for celebrations and company.

Man called 2 hrs before reservation to called to confirm. Charged $1 per person for birthday cupcakes. Put them in cooler when told not to. Not impressed
