Thanks for having the Lobster Bisque in the San Diego Restaurant Week, and as usual, it was out of this world. The Pork Cheeks were tasteful (but the Filet Mignon as a $15 choice, was the best), and the desserts were amazing. I always acknowledge that the food at the Marine Room is like a symphony of flavors, and I always rate the bread as a regular flavor, and nothing special as the Artisan bread. Thanks for the amazing food, the amazing service, and the amazing scenery that made our 27th wedding anniversary an event that we'll forever remember.
Overall great experience , however they need to put a little more salt overall AMAZING
I have been to most of the beach restaurants. This is by far the class leader in the view, staff, and food. Great experience! Our waiter was Jimmy, he was obviously a pro. Even the servers and busboys are trained to be invisible but spot on. The Maitre d was really efficient and she was very sweet and accommodating for our birthday occasion. I could not have more jazzed!
This place used to be the “go-to” restaurant in town for style, ambience and cuisine. It has gotten predictable and outdated. Food is not so special to warrant the prices
Always a wonderful experience even at Low tide, great view of the ocean though high tide dining is spectacular. The service and food have both improved over the years and our dining experience this weekend was exquisite. Thank you Marine room for a memorable evening
Everything was excellent! Food was amazing especially the lobster and sorbet. Highly recommend this place for seafood. Very romantic and well priced for the quality. I will say that the only negative was the smell. They need to upgrade the carpet... it smells very old when you first walk in - strong odor of grandmas house.
Exceptional food. The seafood is cooked to perfection. Crispy skin on the outside of the fish, savory buttery texture.
Good seafood is expected, the French influence sets it apart. You notice it as your main has many small tastes ans flavors. You could tell that each dish was carefully planned by a skilled chef.
However, be prepared to pay an exceptionally high price. Even more than your average luxury restaurant. A prix fixe menu would help.
This place never disappoints. Atmosphere, service, and food are all five star!
It was nice. But I could feel the difference in the room. The service was awesome.
Have dined here since the 60s. Great for special occasions
