    We had a wonderful time at the restaurant, we did not go to the lounge. All servers were very attentive, kind and helpful. Food was delicious and portion sizes were on point. We will go back here for our anniversary in June.

    Food was exceptional. Service impeccable. And of course the location is sublime as you watch the rising tide and waves break on the sand on a moonlit night. The Marine Room is a San Diego treasure still delivering world-class experiences to locals and visitors alike.

    Overall, for the price that was paid I was unimpressed by the flavors that were emanated from the main courses. The environment was nice, but even thats not enough to pay that much for a meal.

    We were greeted by a lovely hostess and guided to our table at the time of our reservation. The table had a nice view and a very knowledgeable waiter Jonathan. We were celebrating a retirement and we were treated to a champagne toast. The food was excellent and it was served in a timely manner. Thank you for helping celebrate this special occasion for our visiting UK friend.

    For all the times we've dined here, this was by far one of the most memorable experiences! Our waiter, Zach, was extremely professional, yet warm and embracing. My wife and I we're initially planning our 4 year business success, but we decided to bring our 16-year-old daughter to experience fine dining. Your staff was able to accommodate an additional guest, and we got window seating! What a wonderful experience, especially for our daughter. Thanks to all your warm staff, and especially Zach!

    Beautiful setting and great service. The menu is quite limited, and the food was just OK for a high-end restaurant. Before dinner cocktails were very good. Of the appetizers selected by members of our party, the lobster bisque was very good; the others not so much. The Ceasar salad was excellent, but the entrees were just average at best.

    Food was amazing me and my wife had an amazing time trying a new cuisine i would highly recommend trying the Dry aged blue fin tuna carpaccio amazing staff friendly and there to assist you with any questions about the menu we will be back 😊

    We went to this restaurant after being at the beach all day. We asked if we could order appetizers with a bottle the bottle of wine that we ordered. The waiter told us that they want the orders put in altogether. He brought our bottle of wine and we asked for bread, and he also told us we could not get bread until we order dinner. This is very strange if Im spending over $500 on dinner I would like to be able to order when I am ready and enjoy a nice bottle of wine with appetizers before I order my dinner. Also, be aware they do not have any sides, horseradish, ranch, ketchup. We ordered two appetizers, scallops, swordfish and fillet, and everything was underwhelming.

    Jonathan & Caroline was our servers, they were very attentive. He recommended the swordfish and salmon, my boyfriend and I LOVED it. Everything we had was absolutely lovely

    Excellent Caesar salad although we miss the traditional table side service from their pre-pandemic years, wonderful scollops, brandisi, surf & turf, and to die for cobblestone pie for desert with Carmel sauce! If they had a pyramid player, the entire ocean front view and heavenly cuisine would be absolute perfection. !

    Overpriced for quality and portions. Service was outstanding. The food does not equal the level of service. Clearly paying for the location. The maitre de is incompetent and should be replaced, not very smart and doesn’t know his job function. There are better choices in San Diego.

    For a Thanksgiving special meal, the menu choices were very sparse and, unfortunately, the food was a disappointment. We go to the Marine Room frequently and usually the food is high quality. Not so for this occasion. The turkey dish was just rolled turkey and my meal of butternut squash ravioli was overcooked and hard.

    We were so impressed with wonderful service from Jonathan, Peter, and Caroline, along with all of the hostesses. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was great. We especially loved the Brussel sprouts and tuna. A very memorable experience. We hope to visit again some day!

    Location is absolutely beautiful! Food was good. They give you a single slice of bread that is very small, expected more. Server was slightly rude in the beginning but warmed up to us. The gentleman brining us water was very sweet! He mentioned to our server it was my birthday so they brought dessert which was delicious. However for the amount of money my table spent I expected larger portions. They portions were very small. We got steak and it was very small. The mushrooms were the highlight! Sooo delicious.

    For the price, I was expecting the food to be a lot better. It was nothing outstanding. The view would have been nice and I requested a seat by the window with our reservation but they were unable to accommodate. Overall it’s a nice restaurant but solely for the ambience of it being on the water. The food did not make up for the lack of window seating.

    We were greeted and seated almost immediately. The staff and their smiles are amazing. The view and people watching were impressive. It is a very limited menu. Both of the filets we ordered were barely warm on the inside and left a lot to be desired as far as flavor is concerned. My water glass had lipstick on the rim, which I unfortunately didn't notice until it was topped off the second time. The amount of staff that was helping other guests take photos over and over was quite distracting. We had high hopes for such a great 5 star dining experience, especially considering the almost $300 bill, but I doubt we will be back.

    The service in the restaurant itself was excellent!! We were a little disappointed about being asked to wait until our reservation time even though there were multiple open tables...and encouraged to go to the expensive bar area. There seemed to be no exceptions to this policy and another couple had the exact same issue. The food was excellent, and the views of the ocean are exceptional, too! Don't be early!

    They were open before their official opening time and all their window tables were filled with earlier time slots. First come first service means depending on your scheduled time we were told but it is impossible to understand their rationale. My guess they have their in house favorite list for their favorite customers. Basically you can not have a window table even if you show up before published opening time. They apologize just to apologize. Food is great as usual. I hate being treated as less valuable customer.

    Arrived 15 mins before reservation time and was seated almost 30 mins later. 10 mins after were asked what kind if water we would like. Service or food were definetly not a $$$$ restaurant. Food was bland. No Wow factor in service or food. Had Octopus for appetizer (ok) Salmon and Filet mignon for entree. Filet was cooked half medium well and half medium ( asked medium) Salmon was ok. Dessert was also just ok. 1 bottle of wine (good) I dont mind spending if valued right. Not planning to return.
