The Marine opened in May 2008. We have four luxury suites all with either sea or harbour views. The bar serves a range of exciting and delicious cocktail drinks, expertly mixed and served by our trained bartenders. We also serve a range of champagnes, wines, spirits, beers from around the world and fruit juices. Our bar serves fresh, local Seafood prepared daily for you to enjoy in a relaxed atmosphere with some of the best views in Whitby.

The Marine was very welcoming, we were served promptly and the food was lovely as was the accompanying music on the night. Could have listened to the singer all night. Would recommend and would come again :-) fab night!

We had been looking forward for ages to dining again at the Marine and choosing our favourite seafood linguini. It didn't disappoint. It's always filled with succulent prawns and large chunks of lobster. Its delicious! Our only small complaint was that the white wine we ordered was literally 'plonked' onto our table without any offer to try it and it wasn't particularly cold. We called over our original waitress, the very pleasant Georgina who changed it immediately with apologies. Needless to say our tip was given to her directly! A really lovely place to eat in the equally lovely seaside town of Whitby

Booked for our wedding anniversary and loved it. Table was perfect place. The staff could not have been more helpful or lovely and the food was wonderful made our special evening. Thank you

We have stayed and dined at the Marine numerous times and have never been disappointed. We were a party of 5 including one child and two vegetarians and the menu met all expectations. The only slight disappointment this time was the lack of live music which we've often been lucky enough to enjoy whilst dining there. would not hesitate to recommend this place and can't wait until we're back there again. Keep up the good work!

Ultra fresh fish, great crab and fish pie, totally awesome flavours. Loved the location, right on the harbour, excellent option for a special lunch or dinner. Highly recommend this and will definitely go again.

Meal was booked, party of four, as my partner loves seafood but never tried lobster. We arrived for cocktails and were sat at our table 20 minutes before our booked time. We were sat next to the piano. The food was awesome, the service excellent, atmosphere perfect for a relaxing meal and I would definitely go again. There are non seafood and vegetarian options too. The lamb and steak were cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were perfect for a three course meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Good idea to pre book first as the restaurant is popular.

We ate at the Marine on a busy Saturday night The food was sublime and the service excellent. So much so we went back for breakfast the following morning I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough

An amazing place to eat. The food is excellent and the ambience is spot on too. Relaxing & romantic with the pianist playing in the background it adds to a perfect evening out with friends or as a couple treating yourselves. Loved it

A regular choice of ours an the staff always make you feel welcome. Menu very good with special options. Food always very fresh, well prepared and presented. Good range of wines. Overall very good value for something that little bit special.
