They have 3, 4 and 5 course menus. The waitress was very accommodating in swapping courses if we desired. They had a choice of 4 entrees. Steak, sea bass, chicken and dumplings (for a special price not stated however to anytable near us) and a vegetarian option. The sea bass sauce was not consistant, parts spicy and parts extremely mild. I did not care for sauce on steak but my husband enjoyed it. The two desserts we're outstanding. The two salads above average. Overall would not recommend nor will l go back.
First time visit to this restaurant (we are somewhat new to the area). It's obviously popular with the locals as it got crowded (downstairs where there is live music several nights a week) and the restaurant upstairs was fairly busy. Neat interior and it looks like it has a wonderful summertime patio for dining. Interesting menu - you choose from a 3, 4, or 5 course dinner, not a regular menu. We chose the 4 course and each had different menu items, all were very good. For the entree, my companion had the steak and I had the fish - both were excellent. Really liked the quiet guitar music in the background, made it easy to converse. Definitely will return...would like to try the ala-carte menu downstairs and the summertime outdoor dining. Bit pricey but worth it, we think.
Top notch!!! We had a great time!! The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. The food was fantastic!! The gentleman who seated us was very nice and fixed our wobbly table right away. Service was great! Would absolutely dine here again.
A good restaurant for Colorado Springs! Several of the meals were excellent. It’s not white tabletop type service, but the staff is friendly and accomodating. Not sure it would rate as fine dining, but a nice relaxing atmosphere.
As always, Margarita at Pine Creek delivered a fantastic dining experience. My wife and I went for Easter brunch and could not have been happier with the food, the exceptional service, and the outstanding ambience. We now have a new Easter brunch tradition! I cannot recommend Margarita at Pine Creek highly enough!
We really enjoyed our meal at Margarita at Pine Creek. We didn't realize that the only options on the dinner menu would be 3, 4, or 5-course meals. We chose the 3-course dinner which was delicious and a generous amount of food.
As usual, the meal and service were excellent. We really enjoy going to The Margarita At Pine Creek and will continue to go on special occasions an just to enjoy the restaurant.
Great food and service. A consistent and great restaurant.
We love doing brunch here. Food is yummy and atmosphere is quiet and cozy.
This was our first time at The Margarita and it was a phenomenal experience!
The food was amazing, our waiter was fantastic and the dim lighting really made for a relaxing environment. We already want to go back!
Always a delightful place to enjoy lunch w/a friend. Can count on excellent food and service.
As always, a great experience filled with wonderful food, great drinks and charming ambiance.
Whenever I'm in Colorado Springs, I always try to stop by The Margarita. The menu is always interesting, the servers are always friendly, and you are simply guaranteed a fantastic meal no matter what choices you make.
Day after Valentine’s Day celebration with my wife. The ambiance was quiet and intimate on a night with light snow. The service was exceptional and our server was very helpful in explaining the menu and the food preparation. Kinda different from ordering al la cart as the offering was for 3,4 or 5 courses from a fixed selection. Selections were good but limited in scope. Small menu, but well prepared and tasty food. Good wine list. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely return.
Great food and service! We had an unexpected 6 coarse meal but were pleasantly surprised with each coarse.
This is a very special place, and the scene of many special occasions for my wife and me. We hope it will continue to thrive. It is so nice to find a unique restaurant with exceptional cuisine and service that is neither snooty nor pretentious...just comfortable and attentive!
Creative menu. Well presented. Very good service. Pleasant surroundings. Chamber music on weekends.
Exceptional food! And two of us could get multi-course meals for a good price. We have dined in is the area with much more ambiance before. This last meal was in a more open back room which did not have the same ambiance.. but the food was still great.
I hadn't been to Margarita at Pine Creek in a long time. That's won't happen again! The food is excellent and the service matches. The atmosphere is always excellent. With all of the extras, the meal is an excellent value. I HIGHLY recommend.
Used to love this restaurant, but the food, ambiance and the staff have become outdated. I doubt I will dine there again but may enjoy the outdoor venue next summer.
Busy night, not enough help, bar was way to slow. Took over 30 minutes to get first drink , which they did comp. Food was great, and the server did the best he could due to the delay in bar service. Go yourself, as we have had a much more enjoyable experience in the past. Thanks for the round of drinks!!!
Fantastic, quaint and charming, delicious and amazing.
Lunch with our daughter. Lovely!
Excellent as always! First time for brunch, and the Eggs Pardou were decadent, and perfect. I love Margarita at Pine Creek as the food is always fantastic, the menu is unique, and it is a quiet atmosphere. Can't wait for Summer as their patio is heavenly.
the best restaurant in southern colorado does it again. try one of the special occasion 7 course dinners BUT pace yourself ! they is the only restaurant in colorado springs we go to now - ha! sad BUT true. try this restaurant
Lovely evening for us. Enjoyed greatly.
Ambiance and food outstanding.
Special occasion spot for us due to the cost.
Been going to the Margarita at Pine Creek for over 30 years. Patty a wonderful friendly host and her chef Erik knows just the right spices to put together to ‘create’ perfect meals. Whenever family comes to town or girlfriends want a great lunch place this is where I take them. The weekday soup and salad with the sesame dressing is WONDERFUL.
This place is also me and my husband’s favorite place to go for our anniversary for romantic aumbience and a meal cooked to perfection. Not loud so you can hear each other talk is also a plus. You feel special and pampered to be there
I recently made a reservation for our 10 year anniversary. I was hoping to be seated at one of their romantic, more intimate tables. Instead, we were seated in the group dining area. We were not thrilled with our table and we were sitting very closely to two groups who were close enough that we could hear their entire conversation. I would have preferred a more romantic table for our anniversary. Some of the wait staff were fantastic and some were not so great. My main entree was cold when it arrived, it still had good flavor, but I'm not a fan of cold food. Overall, the experience was ok and not worth the price. I am disappointed, since my previous experiences were great.
Melissa is outstanding!
WE HAD AN EXCELLENT MEAL LOVED OUR WAIT STAFF. IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE FOR US.
Always enjoy going to the Margarita. This time, service seemed a bit slow. Ordered soup & salad. Server asked if we would like our soup with the salad which we did, but soup came about 15min later. After delivering the salads, we didn't see our server until she brought the soup.
Very good food. Jan, the bartender, is humorous and good at her job.
Our meal was absolutely fantastic! I had an entree that I probably would never have tried anywhere else. The restaurant was very quiet- our evening was just wonderful!
a.We had reservation for 6:00 and it showed the reservation booked for 7:00. So it showed we came in early for our reservation so they seated us by the kitchen area instead of the other side of the dining area. It's like a punishment. The last time we made reservations on OpenTable the same thing happen to us. We got seated by the kitchen because they didn't have record of us having a reservations...so another punishment by seating us by the kitchen area instead of the other side of the dining are.
What a wonderful restaurant with seriously excellent food and wine. Four of us had the three-course meal and we all loved each course. The shrimp and grit appetizer was perfect. My husband loved his venison snitzel. Great soups and salads. And the entrees were superb...snapper, homemade pasta, and steak. Yum! Perfect amount of food and reasonably priced for the quality. You could go to Ruth's Chris and also get a delicious meal, but you would walk out paying twice as much. Two of us enjoyed a nice bottle of wine $30 - excellent price for a bottle at a restaurant and two had the wine pairing, which was a perfect match with dinner.
MUST DINE here. A wonderful hideaway that's not a franchise and the best dinner you will find. Excellent service and ambiance! I would eat here every day if I could.
Margarita has a very creative menu that is continually updated as fresh foods become available.
The BEST NY Strip I've ever had. Juicy, tender and full of flavor. Superb atmosphere and excellent service...unlike the Till where you're "herded" in and out.
We will be back often!!!
It was kind of a disappointment. We went for restaurant week... nothing new or innovative about the menu which is the same few limited items. The night before we had been to a great restaurant and had so much better experience there than my old favorite the Margarita. It's become a bit stale and overpriced. The salad with apples and goat cheese was not flavorful. My steak was overcooked and a thin cut New York strip that was tough. The pumpkin tiramisu was not very good. I'm not in a hurry to go back. It's been hit or miss lately. Sorry for the bad news but it was not at all the elevated experience I was expecting and sorry I spent the money.
Once again a lovely dining evening at Margarita at Pine Creek. Our waiter, Austin, was exceptional in his care for us. Our appetizers were delicious (mussels) and the salad was average. My entree, the steak, was difficult to cut and chewy. When our waiter checked on us, I told him the problem. He apologized and offered a different entree, snapper, and I accepted. That dish came quickly to our table, was beautifully presented and delicious! As we were finishing our wine, two complimentary desserts arrived at our table as an offering to offset my not so good steak entree. Also initially we ordered the chacuterie which was delicious and bountiful. We did not begin to finish it. Austin wrapped it for us to take home. The next day I opened it and each different kind of meat and condiments were carefully wrapped individually. We will continue to enjoy outings to this restaurant! Bravo!
Continue to love this place! Great food and excellent service. Menu is constantly changing and love the variety. Portions are just perfect. Will keep coming back for more.
