Great place! Very romantic!
Justin was an awesome server! They always take great care of us!
Wonderful experience! Fabulous food and amazing service!
The service was very slow there was a lot of waiting to get drink refills multiple times the wait staff did not seem happy to be there not just our waiter but all of the wait staff. The food was cold and I did not recieve the correct food. I went ahead and ate it due to time constraints. From set down to end of meal and me and my wife ate fast took exactly 2 hours and one of our meals was their nightly special. Restaurant was not crowded and the special was a duplicate of a current menu item but was 40.00 dollars higher. I did not gripe and just paid the bill due to time constraints. The restaurant was nice and very romantic. I would say our average meal on a date night is 160.00-180.00 and this was in that range but I have had better service and better food at a 60.00 dollar night at chili's. This was our first time and will not be back.
Awesome experience for Valentine’s Day dinner they even changed last minute reservations to accommodate us!!
We love The Mantle. The food is always spot on. Seems they have gone with small tables, which lessens the experience.
Great evening dining with exceptional food. Very busy Friday night after Valentines Day so the staff was stretched just a bit and things took a little longer than usual. Not a big deal since we were in no rush. Super Lamb Chops and a great Filet were on our table with a very nice Cabernet. Very cozy booth and nice ambiance. The Mantel has been here in OKC for a long time and has proven to be a great evening each and every time we book it.
Went the day after Valentines day for our Valentines Day "date". Chose what I believe was the Special from the day before. Prime 20 oz ribeye and lobster tail. Steak looked beautiful and was a nice thick cut. Cooked medium/medium rare. Lobster was excellent. Side of asparagus--great.
The steak however was surprisingly chewy with quite a bit of gristle. Flavor was good but I've never had a piece of 'prime ' beef that was that tough. I suspect that it wasn't actually prime but was passed off as prime. For the price ($110 for 2 people) I was disappointed. Tables are a little too close for my liking but was still a nice meal.
A great resturant for any occasion. Food and service were excellent.
This place is amazing!!!
The atmosphere was nice and the entrees were amazing. We started with the Wellington trio which was good but not exactly what I expected. My husband had a prime rib eye and 2 seared jumbo scallops and a trio of Woodford bourbon sample shots. I had the halibut and 1 glass of wine. Our meal was $166.00. We have only been able to eat there this one time and will probably never go back because of the high prices. But it was a great experience and I definitely recommend it if you can afford it.
First time eating here ... Quiet cozy booths, great service, and delicious food. Loved the salmon! Would go again.
The entrees were way too salty. Our server, although very polite, forgot our soup then didn't bring our bread until we were almost done with our meal. He did comp my soup, but my husband never got his. The brie was very good and so was the dessert. The cost was way more than a much better meal elsewhere. Not really worth the expense.
GO HERE! I was absolutely blown away by this restaurant. My waiter was there when I needed him and friendly and helpful. I went early in the evening and during a Thunder game, so the place was quiet, but I could tell it is a very quaint and cozy spot to go with friends or on a special date. They had a small bar in the back where some friends were hanging out and it appeared as though there was outdoor seating as well. The food was out of this world. Best salmon I had in a very long time. I highly recommend giving this place a try.
Absolutely amazing!! The food and service are one of a kind. We make it a point to go here every time we are in town! Cannot day enough about this place. It is a must!
New Year’s Eve
Great food. A little bit cold and quite tight.
Great food, atmosphere, and service! Definitely recommend for a great dining experience.
Great restaurant with outstanding service. Would recommend.
Great food, only problem was the table was very small - we were seated by the window and it was very drafty.
Our server was warming and very helpful. We had a group of 6, each of us had a different entree, and each was a home run. For a small menu, that is a heck of a success rate. We has a 5 star experience all the way around.
Great meal and experience as always. Amanda was on top of service as usual.
Service was excellent. Food choices were outstanding and very tasty. This is our second visit and we are planning another.
Excellent time and excellent meal with friends for a Business meal together. The Steak was great and the Lobster Bisque was warming!! The atmosphere was nice and inviting and I would highly recommend it as a place to gather together for a great meal.
Food was very good but they were out of a lot of items.
Great food n service. It was too cold in the restaraunt. Will go back. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere.
We've been to Mantel before and enjoyed it. This night, however, was a bit of a bust. It was very crowded as there was a big concert (Gaga) at the venue nearby, which we were attending. We allowed plenty of time for dinner before the concert, but still had slow service after our initial drinks. The food was good, but not as good as we've had before at Mantel. It also seemed like the menu was much more limited than in the past. Drinks were very good, as was the wine. Our server was friendly enough until we asked her to bring the check with our entrees so that we could make the concert. She was pretty cold after that. There are a lot of great restaurants now in OKC, so not sure we'll be back to Mantel for a while.
We celebrated our 20th anniversary here. It was a lovely evening with wonderful food and great service. We would go back here again when in town. Very cozy and intimate.
We had a great time! The service was awesome!! They really made us feel special. The food was delicious; we all ordered different things and agreed were wonderful. They even had a special dessert treat as we celebrated our upcoming 70th birthdays. A fantastic meal!
Our lunch was delicious. The white wine shrimp fettuccine was very flavorful but not overwhelming with strong spices. The shrimp was firm and fresh. The sauce was very tasty. The lobster bisque was very tasty.
We also enjoyed the halibut lunch special and the fish was well cooked, flaky and the reduction sauce paired well with the fish. The risotto was perfectly cooked.
We enjoyed a nice Paso Robles provenant Cabernet that was priced right.
Great food experience overall.
Always a pleasure being spoiled with good food, wine and service!
Excellent. Probably my favorite restaurant in OKC. We had a reservation at 7:30 and were seated a little late which was no problem and we didn't complain. But they still comp'd an appetizer for us even though we did not say anything and told them it was not necessary. Great service and great food!
Took long time to get all 4 drinks for our group, lobster bisque came out cold, steak was undercooked and service is extremely slow.
PLEASE, get better bar stools. The ones you have are horrible. Other than that, I love the Mantel
The steak was phenomenal, service was amazing. Definitely going to make Mantel wine bar and bistro a date night must have.
Food was great!!! Service was very nice as well
I was not a big fan of the food but im a little picky so its biased i love the environment!!
The food was delicious. My granddaughter really enjoyed the chocolate dessert. Robert was our server and he was exceptional attentive and kind. The manager also stopped by our table to chat with us. The Mantel has been a family favorite for years.
Dined at Mantel's Wine Bar and Bistro recently and enjoyed my dinner here very much. This restaurant is located in Bricktown on Sheridan Avenue.
Dinner reservation was made by way of TripAdvisor (through OpenTable) around one week in advance. Reservation confirmation was received instantly. We were well received upon arrival and serviced very well throughout our meal.
For appetiser, we tried the Chicken Brochettes ($13) that were interesting. This was a serving of five chicken with artichoke surrounded with a strip of bacon. While tasting pretty good, the bacon did overpowered the artichoke. Might try something different next time.
For main, we had the Montel Delmonico ($39) prepared middle rare. This was a nice cut, well-grilled, juicy and flavourful - a very good steak. The sauce served with the steak was unnecessary, detracting from the great taste of the steak on its own. Asparagus and garlic mash potato were perfect sides. I'd happily reorder this steak again.
In the end, I enjoyed my recent meal at Mantel's as much as a dinner taken here four years ago. I found no reason to not dine here again during future stays in Oklahoma City.
Everyone was very friendly and good food. And don't key lime pie. As some nice wine list.
