Awesome food. Service still not to the level you would predict for what you pay. Charming beautiful restaurant.

This place is gorgeous, ambience, perfect.
However, that's where it stops. Food was, ok.. But not worth the money paid. The staff was friendly but inexperienced, and it showed.. Just missing "something". For the same money, I could too to Morton's, get great ambiance, food that will knock your socks off and experienced staff that really know how to treat customers and give that little extra "something". I would go back, but not for the food. I also didn't appreciate the many calls from them trying to entice me to stay the evening. Shoot me an email, sent me a text, but don't harass me. Lastly, when my check came back, an ant came scampering out.

Manor House is the place we love to celebrate ... whatever! Our reservation was for lunch and the menu offered a wonderful selection from appetizer to dessert. Please give this quiet “country estate” the opportunity to make your day something special.

This is our second time here. Once again the food was top notch. Service was a little lackluster. We would have loved to order another bottle of wine but we lost our waitress for about 20 minutes and by the time she came back it was getting late so we passed on it. Food, although delicious, took an extremely long time to arrive.

Food was fantastic! Better than Trummer's On Main.

We went there for our anniversary and had the Chef's tasting menu, and the food was great. It is an open dinning area with a fantastic atmosphere, it was quiet and we were able to talk without raising our voices. The wait staff is young but our server was fantastic. We will be returning.

It was beautiful as we were seated by a roaring fire, but service was terrible. Our drink orders took 45 minutes to come, the appetizers took an hour from when we ordered after we had drinks , and our meals took 2 hours. We were there for 3.5 hours for three courses of food. There were not many people there, but still our waiter was rarely to be found. Getting another round of drinks was difficult
And was not done with our waiter. If you are staying at the inn, this service might be ok, but not if you are driving those windy country roads home late at night

Lovely new entrance to the grounds which was welcome as we arrived after dark. Building and grounds were bright with seasonal lighting. The bar was our first stop as it had a beautiful fireplace and elegant seating. The service was prompt and the options were extensive.
The main dining room was again decorated for the season with a giant tree in one corner of the two story room. Tables are large and seating very comfortable. Service was exceptional on the part of all who waited our table. Food was extraordinary with chef's personal touch evident in some of the variations on seafood and beef dishes. Best dining experience we've had in a long, long time. Wonderful !

Beautiful, serene location, helpful staff, nice rooms in the $198 to $399 range. The food was first class.

Fantastic food and service. A bit expensice about $45 per person without drinks but worth every penny. Very romantic!

Dining options can be further enhanced by adding more meats to buffet.

This place made another memorable anniversary. One of the best things was feeling very welcome from the manager to the chef to the waitress. All of them came over to wish us happy anniversary. Will definitely go back.

Lovely setting and manor house. Excellent service and outstanding dinners. Exceptional chocolate tart for dessert!

Very nice restaurant and spa. Well worth the drive for dinner or a spa visit.
The Resturant is superb and the wait staff is excellent but not stiff. I had the filet and it was done perfectly with freshly made bernaise sauce with whipped potatoes in marrow gravy. Dessert was a vanilla creme brûlée. Delicious! Great Margaritas and nice wine selection.

We take lunch or Sunday Brunch here on the average of twice a month. This is the first time that the service was sub-par. Disappointing. We like the menu and the facility. We live close by, so we will return. See how it goes.

Disapppointed. We ordered Talisker scotch (which is on the single malt scotch menu list), neat. Were served Chivas on the rocks, with no explanation. Wine pour was skimpy. Website says required attire in the dining room is "business casual." A loud party of four was seated next to us, men in shorts and polo shirts (tails out), women in similar attire, one wearing a baseball cap. So much for me wearing a jacket and tie and my wife in a nice dress, celebrating our anniversary. The food, however, was very good. Kudos to the chef and staff. But the service wasn't quite up to the price level and the disregard for the dress policy shows a lack of standards. Given the number of other restaurants to choose from in the area, I doubt we'll return here. But if we do, it will likely be for a casual evening in the lounge, not a pricey dinner in the main dining room.

Unfortunately we were unaware that dark, nice jeans paired with a blouse are not considered "proper attire" and we were not permitted to sit in the nearly empty dining room with only 5 other people present. We were shunned to the bar to hunch over a low table and eat our anniversary ($120) meal.
Management should alert people (especially those that make reservations 2 months in advance) that the restaurant is not only proper, but formal attire required. Completely ridiculous.
