Just a simple supper, ribeye followed by cheese. Steak was over seasoned.

Lovely dinner with our son and daughter in law who were over from America. Lovely ambience and friendly staff, good food and very cosy. We have been to The Magnum on many occasions whether for dinner with a couple of friends and in larger groups to celebrate a birthday and have never been disappointed. Food is always a delight-local produce and beautifully served. Afterward the bar is available for after dinner drinks.

We had dinner at the Magnum to celebrate our wedding anniversary with 2 friends from the USA. Great welcome and the service was fantastic. Our waitress was knowledgable about the dishes on offer and extremely professional. Food was delicious and whole occasion was superb. Wonderful ambience and setting. Would definitely go back and recommend. Thank you for making our special night special.

Great meal at The Magnum... The beetroot kofta with feta cheese ice cream is a must. Staff are lovely and service great 👍🏼

Looks like a pub on outside. Quaint, cozy and white tablecloth restaurant and bar on inside. Excellent dinner--we had sausage special, salmon and rib eye. Would get all again except rib eye which was nothing special. Mushroom polenta appetizer was very good. Pigeon appetizer good also. Crab with coriander was light salad-like starter. Reasonable size for one--not sharing size for first course. Salmon was perfectly cooked as were accompanying veggies. Desserts--sticky toffee pudding and cheesecake both wonderful. We went back another night just to have sticky toffee pudding again. Also had trio of ice creams that were very good. Good Rioja also.

Second visit - same story: table not ready for 20 mins and 50 mins before furst course served. Busy kitchen just can't keep up. Shame as staff and ambience good. Won't be back any time soon, too many better restaurants available locally.
