They have a very diversified menu and the prices are very affordable. Food and service are always excellent when we have visited this establishment. It is quiet, very nice ambience, and we can enjoy a conversation without having to raise our voices.

Brunch was very good. So are the dinners we enjoy here. Great service and the food is always so delicious. Just don't be ready for diet fare - the food is good for a reason! and...the presentation is always great.

Wonderful hidden gem in Woodstock. Perfect for families, friend gatherings, and quiet romantic dinners. Needs a broader bar menu, but the wine and beer are good selections.

I totally loved it. It was my third time there and their food is excellent but this time I ordered the blackened salmon with berry sauce and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly prepared salmon and the mashed potatoes that came with it were unusual in their combination of ingredients but very well matched. One thing I do want to suggest: the side vegetable was supposed to be Okra but they were out of okra and offered instead asparagus. I was so glad for the substitution and felt that it combined well with the rest. I would suggest to keep the asparagus as the main choice of vegetable for those of us who dislike okra. I have never tried their okra so maybe they prepare it in a way that merits tasting it, but I was glad to avoid it. The waiter was very attentive and helpful but at the same time gave us our space, so the service was great. I also love the ambiance, so quaint, makes you feel like you are the guest at someone's grandma's house, in a nice way. Everyone in my party of 4 was happy with their food, and how quiet and relaxed it felt. We had a corner table by the window and it felt as private as if we were the only ones there, tables are far enough apart. We also stopped on our way out to enjoy the fire pit with chairs to sit around, if you feel like continuing your conversation outside, it's a nice touch.

Awesome experience and good food.
We eat brunch here often.
Used Opentable app to make reservation a few weeks out for Sunday Brunch at 2:00 pm. I️ requested in my reservation to be contacted if the restaurant was going to be very busy. Friday I received a call from Jenna at Magnolia Thomas to help me find an area of the restaurant that is quiet. Upon arrival Sunday we were provided the perfect table for seven. Had a great time. Waitress was great. Groupon saved me $80.

Perfect night to celebrate my birthday with my husband. Our server was amazing and we never felt rushed between courses. Started with the baked Brie which was mouth watering. Only wish is that they give you more bread with it. Next was a perfectly portioned salad, again never rushed on eating it. She waited until we were done and then the main course was served. The most perfect steak cooked to the right temperature. My husband had the special of the night, shrimp and risotto. His quote was who knew shrimp could taste like this. Finally we finish the night with the cranberry brownie. A divine chocolate dish that didn’t push us over the edge but left us extremely pleased. Came here because of a groupon. We will be back time and time again!

I have been to the Magnolia Thomas House many times for brunch, but our waitress this time was either new or did not know what she was doing! My husband asked for coffee and he never got it until the end of the meal. Our water glasses were never filled. I asked for biscuits and gravy and they were never brought out until I asked the third time. I had a Group On coupon and of course even though she had it from the beginning, she had to go and recalculate the bill. I gave her my credit card and we had to wait 15 minutes until she brought it back and then I had to ask for it...Her response, Oh, I have had it in my pocket for 15 minutes! It was ridiculous! The food on the buffet line also kept getting very low! This is the first time that we have had somewhat of an unpleasant experience!

My friend and I went for Sunday brunch, which is a buffet with certain additional items that come out from the kitchen. The food was good, but some was low when we went through and some other patrons had left a few of the spoons down in the food. The salad was good, but the mini cinnamon buns were dry and tough and none of the dessert items we tried were great. Our server was good sometimes, but we also went through long periods with empty glasses. Still, the ambiance was lovely and I would give it another try.

The only thing that we had an issue with was the temperature. I am male and I thought it was way to cold in our dining area. This is always the only issue we have at this restaurant. Food is superb.

We had dinner at the Magnolia Thomas Restaurant two nights in a row. The staff was friendly and helpful. The service was good. We had salmon and steak one night and pork and tilapia another. Each meal we ordered was delicious. We enjoyed everything we ordered and talking with our guests until the restaurant closed each night.

Went for 1:00 Pm brunch with a Groupon. Once we were seated in the main dining room, we heard a loud (voices, yelling, laughing) party going on in the eastern, somewhat separated portion of the restaurant. Once we were greeted by our waiter Ryan, we stood up to go enjoy the buffet Brunch. Simultaneously the party in the eastern wing started to gather in line, bringing the noise with them. They would not let anyone into the line, including wait staff to pass through with food. At one point it got so loud in the main room I had to go outside. We went back to our table, tired of waiting for this endless line from the separated dining area. If not for our waiter Ryan offering to bring us food from the kitchen, we would have left. Literally no food was left after the party group had gone through the buffet. Food was good from the kitchen. Lesson learned, don't make reservations for this restaurant online. Call to ensure there is no large party coming there at the same time, the restaurant is ill equipped/staffed for such an event. Thanks again to Ryan!

Took almost 2 hours to get our food after ordering off what would be considered a VERY limited menu. Food was ok but nothing worth waiting that long for. The specialty items were the worst things we ordered. Waitress was nice enough but not apologetic for the unreasonable wait. Definitely not going to go back.

We came to visit Magnolia Thomas because we had a Groupon. When I looked at the menu online a couple months ago it looked very unique. The current menu is good, but nothing to get too excited about. Make sure you view the menu directly from their website and not open table's website. The open table menu is not up to date and looks much better than their current menu.

We arrived around 5:00 p.m. We ordered the deep fried ribs for an appetizer. We also had the Java Crusted Steak and the Chicken Gourmand. Our food was well seasoned and tender. The service and atmosphere was great. There is nothing I can complain about. However there wasn't anything special about the food. I would recommend this restaurant if you live near Woodstock, or if you're in the area. Unfortunately I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here unless there was a more ambitious menu.

The Sunday Brunch far exceeded everyone's expectations! The service was excellent++, and it was worth the price. We brought our 2 young boys (ages 5&8)...they loved the egg scramble, salmon, fish cakes, chIcken, seasonal fruit, mini-cinnamon rolls, etc.
Note: this is Fresh food. Quality food. Gourmet sauces. You'd expect this fare to be found in a 5-star restaurant downtown.
It's THAT good. It's cloth napkin, plated desserts, etc. GO! You'll be highly pleased!
