The 6 of us went to Lost & Found Saloon on the recommendation of a friend before going to the Arscht Ctr. The service and food were very good. Excellent value. The only problem was that the restaurant was empty~in fact, we were the only customers!
Great bartender..very helpful
Awesome local dive in the design district. I was there on a date but definitely will go back and drink PBR at the bar, solo. Great atmosphere with unique "bar food" menu.
Very small restaurant. Bathrooms are an arm's length from two tables (not good). Pulled pork plate was good, although had to that rice be reheated. Server was friendly, quite capable, and quick. Apple pie was very good but overpriced at $8.50.
Following the advice of our friend who lives in Miami, we wanted to dine in Wynwood. As one of us is a vegetarian, we checked restaurants that had multiple vegetarian opportunities that were more fancy than 'veggie burger', which she already ate at least 3 times during our trip. Lost & Found had plenty of them and for a good price. We appreciated that they welcomed us at a very late dinner time (reservation at 10.30 PM). The eggplant and the mega mushrooms are delicious and the hazulnut beer was also wonderful. Besides the food, the ambiance of the restaurant was great and the servers friendly and helpful.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. LIMITED MENU, NO CHOICE OF CHEESE WITH A BURGER, NO FRIES, STALE CHIPS, TASTELESS SALSA AND COLE SLAW AND THE FOOD WAS NOT GOOD. A VERY BAD DINING EXPERIENCE AND A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. 5 PEOPLE IN MY PARTY AND ONLY THE PERSON WHO RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE WAS QUASI-SATISFIED. THE OTHER 4 OF US WERE VERY DISSATISFIED. NEVER AGAIN.
The whole restaurant is decorated with little (and big) "lost and found" items and drawings themed after the restaurant, which I assume we're done by patrons. We ordered a duck dinner and a pulled pork sandwich. Both were great, but both were pretty spicy too, so watch what you order if you're a "spice wuss."
The restaurant uses a lot of unique flavor combinations, like "truffled sweet potato" and habanero jelly for the duck. A lot of the foods have a southwestern twist.
We also had the apple pie. The filling was awesome, very flavorful. The crust didn't taste as maple-y as I thought it would, but it was fine.
A neighborhood gem
second we arrived we could spot our table because they had a cute little "reserved" sign on it, but then again the restaurant is small but cute. definitely a neighborhood gem, with awesome weekly specials. the waiter was so patient and sweet, and very knowledgeable of the menu and honest about portion sizes. which honestly made me like him more because he didn't let us over order. one of the meals we ordered were the special 75cent wings, awesome, just wasn't too crazy about the herb flavored ones. overall i would definitely go back.
Not a nice Place to eat at.
Really Bad Smell to it. and Bad Service
